I really love the packaging and scent of this product. It's got a bit of a vintage vibe and it makes me feel a bit nostalgic for an era of time of wasn't even alive in! I quite disliked rose scented products when I was younger; they reminded me of old women, but now I think of it as more timeless than aging! The product itself was lovely to use and left my skin feeling clean and soft. The skin on my face can be a bit sensitive to exfoliators, but this one was gentle and didn't leave any redness at all.

Tips: You only need a small amount, so don't go over board! :)
This is by far the best exfoliater I've used, and its so cheap! It's so gentle on your skin and leaves your face feeling fresh and clean. My fiance also uses it daily and it has cleared up the issues he's had with his skin.
I brought this at the same time as buying a large bottle of their Rosehip body lotion and a bottle of the Rosehip Oil and to be perfectly honest I don't really care for either of the first two products and I haven’t come to a conclusion about the third.
I have noticed that they seem to have a kind of artificial scent, not like you would expect from a natural organic product but maybe that’s just personal preference.
I also find it doesn't have enough of the exfoliating granules to do the job well although I must say the skin does feel soft after use. I just prefer exfoliators that are a bit more effective than this one in that respect but maybe I need to use more of the product than I have been.
I purchased it from the supermarket and was impressed with the price though. For an organic brand they are very competitively priced and easy to source as they are down at the local Countdown. I was tempted to buy the cleanser but went for a different brand instead.
Tips: I would try the little travel size kit first before buying the normal size of this just so you know whether you are comfortable with the scent and find it has enough granules to really clean the skin.
I have psoriasis so ex-foliating is really important for me so I can remove the dry skin from my face. I have tried other exfoliators, but they were often too harsh and stripped my skin of too much moisture. This one by Essano is great. I tried their moisturisers first ( I was attracted by the fact that they contained rosehip oil) and when they were good for myy skin I decided to use the exfoliator as well. It has been working really well for me, helping to remove my dry, scaly skin, and I do not find that it irritates my skin or dries it out too much.
Tips: My skin is normally very dry. I use this twice a week.
This scrub is what I've been trying to find for quite some time, gentle enough for everyday use, but still polishes away dead skin and cleans it making my face feel fresh and new.
The packaging for this little beaut it definitely what drew me in, in the first place gorgeous rosy pink, with gold detailing, very pleasing to the eye and looks great in the bathroom! Easy clip shut lid which is a must for travelling. A generous 100ml size which lasts me about 3-5 months depending on the time of year.
I tend to use this product after I have removed my make up and cleansed my face, in the evening. Totally revives my skin and leaves it feeling fresh and clean with no tight feeling whatsoever. Its a thin cream style consistency with small natural exfoliating particles and grains. It is creamy enough to use it like a cleanser. Which is great for my dry sensitive skin. The smell won't be everyones taste its a sweet floral scent that does linger, I enjoy it, it relaxes me after I use it.
I found the price $14.99 is quite fair for a supermarket brand but it regularly comes on special, also it comes in a pack of four other products from the Rosehip Essano collection so you get the chance to trial it out before you buy the full size, awesome marketing!
I would highly recommend this to my dry and sensitive girls, I can easily use this on a daily basis to polish my skin and without it being too rough which I'm really pleased about.
Tips: Gentle enough for everyday use, 50 cent piece worth will do entire face and neck.
This product is a staple in my regime. It's nice and thick, and as the exfoliation compound is quite small, it means that this is one of the most gentle exfoliators I've ever used, but it still manages to buff away all the nasties and I always see a glow to my skin after using it. The scent is quite pleasant which isn't always the case with rosehip products. The packaging is very feminine and classy and it looks good on my beauty desk. All in all, I'm a fan.
Tips: I like to follow this up with a masque that suits whatever my skin is needing at the time.
This is the first exfoliator that has Rosehip Bio-exfoliating granules I have ever used. This exfoliator has tiny Rosehip Bio-exfoliating granules that cleans, removes dead skin cells and impurities.
It comes in a recyclable rosy pink squeeze tube. I really like the packaging.
The first time I used it, I found it really gentle, not harsh on my skin. It exfoliates my skin well but does not dry it out or felling peeled and stripped. I also enjoy the natural scent of it, not overpowering but pleasant to smell.
Compared to other exfoliators from other brands, there may not be as many exfoliating granules in this exfoliator. However, that is what makes this exfoliator so gentle even for people with sensitive skin like me, and it can be used daily.
I use this three times a week and had noticed my skin became softer, feel cleaner, and looks more radiant after 2 weeks of uses.
This one is definitely a winner, it is affordable for a supermarket brand and it does the job. I would recommend this to everyone.
I've tried a few scrubs before and i've found this one the best. There are a lot of small granules in it to really work into my skin but still be gentle on it. It feels so soft and smooth afterwards. I like the packaging its very cute, and the Rosehip smell is so good! Also i love that Essano is a great price too.
This is perfect for removing dirt and oil built up on my skin. I use it twice a week and it helps to smooth out and clean my skin leaving it feeling soft and looking clear. It's so gentle so it can be used on every skin type and won't cause irritation or redness to your skin. It doesn't leave my skin feeling tight and dry it still feels hydrated.
When I review I try to always keep an open mind but unfortunately I am one of these visual people so the packaging and presenation of a product is important to me and usually my first impression is the lasting one. In this case I was pretty underwhelmed, the packaging didn't appeal (I'm more classical and than whimsical) and when I tried the product on my hand, the texture and smell was also unappealing. I feel a bit Meh about this product I didn't think it was a great exfoliator and it left me skin feeling clean but not feeling fabulous - I think I prefer more intense exfoliators and my age maybe the issue so to be fair I gave it to my 18 year old neice to try and get her thoughts and sure enough her review was quite different - she loved the look of the product, thought the smell and texture was awesome and really felt like her skin had been exfoliated - she is a fan. So while this product was not to my 46 year old taste it did appeal to a market (18 years old) that i think is more motivated by price and pretty packaging.
