I use a lot of the Essano products and use the cleansing wipes and night cream in the evenings. However in the mornings I like to use this exfoliator in the shower to start the day off with nice and clean, fresh feeling skin. I find I only need a little for the face and neck and upper chest area and for the price it is a bargain. Plus it looks nice on the shower shelf next to the Essano shampoo/conditioner and body wash!!

Tips: You only need to use a little, especially in the shower, as it goes a long way.
I was on the hunt for a new face wash that was gentle, had no harsh chemical, and love the fact this one contained rosehip.
My skin is dry and can sometimes can be a little sensitive. I’ve found this exfoliator to gentle, moisturising and leaves my skin feeling smooth and glowing. I’ve found since using this product my skin has improved, my pores are clearer with less black heads. Bonus! I use this after I’ve removed my make up in the evening as part of double cleanse. And in the morning. My husband even use this and loves it. I’ve also noticed his skin looks less dry and even has a little glow.
Packaging is attractive, the scent isn’t too strong and I love that I can pick this up from my local supermarket.
Tips: Spend the time massaging into your problem areas to reap the rewards.
I love this Essano range. The smell is yummy, the texture is creamy and the granules are not too harsh. This is a very gentle face exfoliator and I use it every day.. Dont expect layers of dead skin to be coming off as it' seems to be designed for regular use as opposed to once a week/fortnight. A lovely product again from Essano!
I waited for this to come out for so long. Essano previewed it for so long on their Instagram that I actually started to get annoyed with how long it was taking to get onto the shelves for me to be able to try it. That is my only whingy comment to make about this product however. This cleanser comes in a handy top down tube which makes it super easy to get use in the shower. The product itself is an almost mustard brown/yellowish colour and does not have much of a scent to it. It has a very creamy texture and the exfoliating bits aren't too harsh feeling on my skin. Because of the thick creamy texture it feels like a little bit of luxury has been put on my face and I really like it. It does a great job with what it's supposed to do and my skin looks great and is smooth after using it. I love the whole Essano range and this had been a fantastic and much needed addition to the existing product range.
I use this product on a daily basis, it's got a good ratio of aggregate to cream and you really feel like it's scrubbing away the grimy day.
The smell is pleasant and natural with a hint of sweetness and the packaging is brilliant, clean and very appealing.
In my routine I follow this product up with a couple of pumps of the foaming facial cleanser just to calm the skin and remove any lingering traces of the scrub.
If I use the scrub on it's own I find that my skin gets very dry, very quickly following my shower.
I really like this product. The colour of the tube is nice and not like another product out there (that I've seen anyway!) I like the little gold at the bottom however I struggled to actually know who it was made by because its in small font at the bottom!
The big one for me is that it is natural and made in New Zealand - love supporting local products over imported brands any day!
Originally when I first used this, the colour surprised me. Its brown! I wasn't expecting that haha. However, it smells lovely. Almost a little lemony to me which I really liked. Probably is supposed to smell like rose so maybe my nose is broke!
I have to say, my face does feel really lovely - very smooth! However I have had a breakout of pimples on my chin. Its probably because my skin is freaking out about having something good used on it!
I think it is a really good price too. Its NZ made so that is value.
I really like this exfoliator and definitely wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Or buy myself when mine runs out!
Thanks for another awesome trial, BR xo
I really really liked this product. It wasn't as harsh as I was expecting, so really gentle on the skin. Upon washing off I was left with very very soft skin that seemed to be drinking in all the nutrients. Felt very moisturised afterwards and not oily. Would definetly use again and being able to purchase from the supermarket is a added bonus :)
Tips: Would only use once or twice a week. Only a small amount is needed.
I love love love this product, First off, I love the girly packaging and it smells super yummy. When using it you only need a really small amount to do entire face and neck and it feels amazing on my skin. The first time I used it my skin felt really dry but after I used it again I was hooked. My face has not felt this soft in years. I love it and have been using it every night. I will never use another exfoliator on my face again, I'm hooked
Tips: Don't use a lot as a little goes a long way
I am unashamedly in love with Essano products. There, I said it. Despite this being a supermarket product, it makes me feel like a million bucks. First off, the dusty pink packaging has an upmarket feel. For someone (me) looking to use more natural products, this range is a godsend. You will notice on reading the label that it's made in NZ and contains no nasties. The smell is lightly rosey (nothing overpowering here), the exfoliating beads are tiny and not particularly abrasive, however you will definitely notice that your face is smoother afterwards (just ask my husband - he pinches my scrub when his face is dry!) I absolutely love this product, so much so that in a recent discount promo I bought 3 tubes! Long live Essano!
Tips: Gentle enough for daily use
Essano has quickly become one of my favourite brands. I love the focus on the natural ingredients and the fact its a great New Zealand company, with such affordable products.
I already have the cleanser, moisturiser, night cream and oil in my collection, so when I saw this at the supermarket it was time to add another product to my collection.
Firstly, the packaging is lovely. So feminine and with a very cute, 60s glamour look. It's in my favourite colour, pink, and like all the other Essano products it just looks stunning and glamorous. By looking at it you would think it's a high end product, when its extremely affordable. I love I can just purchase this at the supermarket, with my grocery shop.
My skin can be dry, combination and reactive, so I look for my skincare to be as natural as possible - without some nasties that are in other products. This Essano product, like the other products in the range are perfect and so gentle for my skin.
The formula is a browny colour, with small granules within the formula. I use this a couple of times a week. I wet my face and massage a small amount over my face, it feels refreshing and is o gentle to slough away the dead skin. No stinging or tight feeling like you can get with other exfoliators. I feel this helps to even out my skin tone and makes my skin feel brighter.
This is another winner from Essano, and just like it says it is, it's a gentle exfoliator that delivers what it says. Such an affordable product, that is of high quality like the rest of the products in the Essano range. Thanks Essano.
Tips: If you love Essano products, add this to your collection.
