Definite worth a try, and I had used minis in the range for about two weeks. I love how it's extra moisturising, but my face was not able to handle it, and I hate to say I had to give up on this. Lovely smell and natural ingredients but just not for my skin, caused me to break out. I would recommend this night cream to anyone with dry skin, but not for combo skin. The smell is wat I usually fall for and I loved the smell of this night cream. I still use it some nights but just half of what I used earlier.

This rosehip night creme is beautiful. It is so nice to apply at night time, especially around my eye area as it is very cooling and soothing. It is incredibly hydrating, and leaves my skin feeling super moisturized and refreshed.
This night cream is wonderfully rich and moisturising. I have very dry skin so I find that even most night creams are not moisturising enough for me. Then I tried this one. It is fantastic. I have sensitive skin and it does not irritate my skin at all. It absorbs really well. It does not clog up my pores. My skin feels lovely and soft when I wake up.
Tips: It may look like a small jar, but you only need to use a very small amount each time. I find it lasts for weeks.
This product has everything I want in a night cream, and it is so affordable! It's so think and creamy and it feels so nourishing. I've noticed I have less lines under my eyes since using this and the skin seems plumper and more hydrated in the morning than it ever did before. The scent is pleasant and the jar is nice and sturdy and looks nice on my vanity.
Tips: When my skin has had a particularly rough, drying day, I wait for the first coat to dry then add another, and by morning it's good as new.
I used this as a deluxe sample, but never went on to purchase the full size due to it being too heavy for my skin, actually preferring the lighter regenerating moisturiser from Essano better as a night time cream.
My skin type: Combination (dry areas with an oily T-Zone)
Sample size: gave me continued use over a fortnight of nightly applications to verify a review and verdict on it's outcome.
Packaging (deluxe sample) just a simple rounded glass tub style in brown glass with essano logo and label of rose pink wrapped around it's body and a black plastic screw off lid.
Formula, this cream is very thick and heavy with natural oils and shea butter. The scent is beautiful and lovely to apply just before crawling into bed, however I found the cream to be too heavy and even when applied in the smallest quantities I was leaving a bit of an oily residue on my pillow which could only have been from the oil that had not settled into my face. Bearing in mind that I allow my creams to settle before I rest my head down as I read or catch up on social media sat up for about 20-30 minutes after application, this was shocking. My face come the morning was shiny and as I showered my skin felt slick as if I had a face wash on that needed to be washed off. Which resulted in giving my skin a quick face wash using an mild exfoliator to ensure that the cream that I had applied the night before wasn't clogging up my pores.
Breakout, on day 6 of using this nightly I found that I had 2 rather large spot breakout at the edge of my cheeks near my eyes which is normally where I am most dry, they were uncomfortable and even though I wasn't 100% sure of the cream being the culprit I did recall that at the time my skin felt heavy and unclean, which only brought me back to the moisturiser.
After the 12th night I had enough and detoxed my skin, and used light creams from then on to find that my skin bounced back and was behaving better within 48 hours or removing this cream from my regime.
Maybe good for some but wasn't for me.
I love using a rich, nourishing cream at night to restore hydration to my skin. I tried the Essano Rosehip Night Creme after hearing great things about rosehip oil and Essano as a brand - I sure wasn't disappointed!
This creme is LOVELY! It comes in a high-end-feel glass screw-top jar. The jar isn't huge, so you don't get a whole lot of bang for your buck, but the creme does go a long way and the quality is wonderful. The creme is rich, super smooth, and glides into your skin. Every morning I wake up to find my skin soft and very hydrated.
And did I mention the delicious scent? This product smells of roses, which can never be a bad thing! :-) Definitely recommend.
I bought the Essano test box at Countdown, and this was one of the products. It's a trial size cream that comes in a glass jar.
I like that the scent is very rosey, it smells like Turkish delight. I also like that it has a creamy luxurious feel on the skin.
What I don't like is that there is a slightly greasy residue left behind which doesn't sink in. I tried using it as a handcream, thinking the richness would sink into my drier hands but it does the same there too. This is not a problem of this cream alone, I have found other night creams similar. Also, I suspect that this cream was the cause of a large spot that is usually dormant.
So the final verdict is that I like it but don't love it, and will revert to a lighter night cream.
I bought this when i was too tight to fork out for my usual $100+ night creme that worked fantastic at a price. I was pleasantly surprised at how well this works. its a nice rich creme which i prefer at night. A little goes a long way. i use this in conjunction with the Essano Rosehip Oil. Perfect combination at a good price. No irritation on my sensitive skin either.
Tips: A little goes a long way so start with small amounts and work it into your skin.
I purchased a trial set by Essano from Countdown and a sample of this was in it. A nice rich cream, this product is also light and not too heavy. Pleasantly fragranced with roses and lemon it didn't irritate my sensitive skin. A little goes a long way. I have been using this for the past two weeks on my face and neck, and still have enough for another two! Made in Aotearoa, this is a great homegrown product.
I brought this product after falling in love with the sample sized version. For a supermarket brand this goes well beyond expectations, all essano products are so affordable and super good for your skin. I use this most nights in conjunction with the rosehip oil from essano. I have noticed a more even skin tone and and less dry patches. The small pot goes a long way as you only need a little bit. I would definitely buy this again and also recommend it to all my friends and family.
