have used this in conjunction with the Essano rose hip oil and found it really does nothing - the oil works better on it's own. Have applied this on it own and I find it makes my skin feel very dry and tight plus the smell is too intense to have on my face.

I love these products! It makes it 10x better that they're affordable and at the local supermarket. They smell wonderful and I'm such a big fan of deeply hydrating moisturisers since I work in an a/c controlled environment. It's a bonus since my partner is vegan, he uses it as well. I even put the oil in my bath. I just the body lotions over the ones that I used to get from Lush and the body shop
I am very happy with this product. It is the perfect cream to use on your face before bed. It soaks in very quickly, has a lovely sleepy smell to it and you wake up with the softest deeply moisturized face, ready for the next day.
Tips: I have also started using Essano Night Rosehip cream in the morning under makeup, I initially used it in a rush one morning but have continued to do so! It acts as a good base and my makeup stays on all day! Just make sure not to use too much or it may become oily.
I purchased this in the miniature kit that Essano sells as I wasn't sure I would love it...well I did!
It comes in a lovely sturdy jar and is a thick creamy consistency. It has the same lovely botanical rose scent that the other products in this range have and I really enjoy (I don't love the smell of rosehip oil and this was a lot nicer scent wise than the oil). Despite it's thickness I find it absorbs reasonably quickly into the skin and leaves my face feeling smooth soft and hydrated.
I have sensitive dry skin and am glad to say this did not cause any irritation, which is not something I can say about a lot of products. I am very happy I decided to try this out as I think it is fast becoming a new favourite and is something I will be repurchasing along with the rest of this line. I love that it is far more natural than some other products I enjoy and free from the less beneficial ingredients they often include.
Would recommend this to all with dry sensitive skin in need of some natural nourishment! This range is slowly dominating my skin care routine..but, I'm not complaining because the products are fantastic and well worth the money! Super handy that they are available at the supermarket too :)
Tips: Try this product out in the miniature kit if you are unsure whether or not it's for you. The little sized products are also fantastic for travelling and I am going to keep the bottles and refill for travel :)
I picked this up in the trial size pack with other items in it.
It is a vegan moisturiser with some organic ingredients and states it on the bottle. It is meant for all skin types, meaning you don’t have to figure out your skin type. This comes in a little frosted glass jar for the trial pack and a small brown glass jar with a dusty rose coloured label for the normal size.
It is a white cream that goes on smoothly and easily. It has a thick texture but it is a velvety feel. It moisturises well and my skin does not feel dry and like it is missing something. You don’t need much to cover your face and neck. Most times I apply the Rosehip oil before this moisturiser let it soak in a little then apply the night crème. After I have rubbed in the crème. Once or twice a week I do a gentle face massage to help relax. This is mainly just large circles around my eyes, drawing large glasses and making sure I don’t pull on the delicate eye area and using 2 fingers pulled across my forehead to the hairline.
It is scented but this is due to the oils in the moisturiser rather than additional perfumes.
I use this alternatively with another product that I have at present but once that product is finished I am planning to be on this one only as I prefer the feel of this one.
Tips: If you are not sure on this brand, get the trial size box as it is less of a commitment and expense than buying the full size bottles.
This lovely textured cream comes well packaged in a box and it it is a brown glass jar with a screw top lid. The fragrance is of a strong scented rose that slowly fades away. This I find this white cream absorbs quite quickly and doesn't leave me feel sticky or wanting for more moisture. I use a wee scoop to get the cream out, so about the size of half a walnut does my face and neck. My skin likes this and I find my skin is still feels moisturised in the morning, no dry patches and I'm pretty sure a little glow comes with my skin with using this, my skins not more youthful but a little more radiant, and it does feel nice and soft and a little more plumped as well. I've been sticking quite a bit on my chin or the top of my neck just incase it does promote firmness I haven't noticed any difference in firmness but in softness most definitely oh and some spots yes spots at my age, so I just eased up on the amount I used and that stopped them. This is a soothing cream and quite possibly because it contains no harsh chemicals my skin just chills out at night when I put this on. This is a really great cream for dry skin good value.
Tips: Use the eassano exfoliator and then follow with this cream the results are amazing
I tried this when it first introduced to Countdown a few years ago as part of doing an online shop in 2013 I got a full set of sample sizes in this brand. This is the great thing with online delivery shopping with Countdown they note your frequent purchases and include samples of products they know you'll like. The cream is lightly scented and is a super soft cream which absorbs into the skin and feels fresh. It leaves the skin feeling soft aswell. It did have a radiant affect on my skin and some evening of skin tone but no reduction in pore size. I also used the rosehip oil combined which I enjoyed the feeling during summer nights. I don't know why I didn't continue on to repurchase a full size. I have seen the mini packs they come in and will most probably purchase this for its value purposes. I think anything with rosehip in it will be beneficial for the skin no matter the age or condition. I believe it's a more affordable range with worthy natural ingredients.
Tips: Purchase the trial pack for $20 @ Countdown a more affordable way to introduce your skin to the range and get results from. Which you can decide assertively if this for you.
If you don't have this your skin won't be smooth or soft as this product makes your skin amazing and glowing. My mother gave this to me as she said that I will love it, so I tried it and now I think I will use this for the rest of my life. Recommended 0.
I think this cream is quite affordable and does an amazing job. It hydrates and moisturizes so nicely and you'll wake up with smooth and soft skin in the morning.
I got a small pot of this night cream as part of the Essano Rosehip trial kit. The packaging is quite cute, it comes in a frosted glass pot with a plastic lid. The cream has a really smooth, silky feel and glides on the skin really nicely. It absorbs within seconds and doesn't leave a greasy feel at all. When it has just been applied, my skin feels so smooth and supple. When I wake up in the morning my skin feels really nicely moisturised and plump. The smell is lovely. A subtle, sweet rose scent. An added bonus is that this product is NZ made and organic. As soon as my trial size pot runs out I'll be purchasing the full size one.
