I love Essano products and have found this to be really nice on my skin. It is really hydrating and my skin instantly feels healthy and moisturised. I like that it contains an spf as this is very important especially for a face cream. It smells nice and I like the convenient pump bottle that sits nicely in my bathroom cabinet. I’ll definitely keep using this lovely product.

I was really excited to try this moisturiser after receiving it for a gift. I was really happy after trying it. I found it had a really nice creamy texture and consistency and felt light and easily absorbed into my skin. I also love how it has an SPF 15, so I feel assured my skin is protected from the skin. Additionally, I love how essano has really natural ingredients and doesn't contain nasty chemicals
I wanted a moisturizer with spf without the parabens, sulphates etc and Essano pure defence delivers. Its a gentle product for my skin. It absorbs quite fast and doesn't leave any greasy residue so good for applying under makeup. I do use a little more of this moisturizer because of the fast absorbtion though. It has a lovely rose fragrance. Not sure about pump bottles as I do prefer jars so it's easier to get the last bit out, but it does keep the product uncontaminated.
I’m a big fan of Essano, I love the fact that it’s all natural and cruelty free products which is very important to me. This Rosehip Pure Defence SPF15 Moisturiser hydrates my skin beautifully. It absorbs quickly and the SPF really works as I’m outside with the kids most days and haven’t burned. Love that it has a pump as you don’t need much, it lasts a long time. Just really good simple day moisture.
I got given this by a friend of mine when I pregnant and I was quite excited to try it. I had tried the Essano cleansers before and found them quite nice.
This comes in a pump bottle with the simple Essano pink and brown. I'm typically not a huge pump bottle fan as I find you can never get the bottom product and its not something you can ever chuck in your makeup bag to head away anywhere.
It has only a faint scent, a tiny bit of a floral I guess rose scent nothing overpowering and nothing that bothered me at all.
Its a light non greasy consistency that applied to my skin well and absorbed easily. I have skin more prone to the dry side and while this was a lovely moisturiser its not quite heavy enough for what I like.
No irritations or anything (I also have quite sensitive skin). Overall this was a lovely moisturiser I just prefer something a little bit heavier.
Essano is a range of skin care products that you can purchase at your supermarket which makes it very accessible. It is also a very good price so there really isnt anything stopping you trying this.It comes in a 75ml bottle with a pump applicator. There are pros and cons about pumps but I just love the convenience of them.
The cream, I found was light and it absorbed easily into my skin. It dosent smell overpowering in fact it is quite subtle. My face and neck felt smooth and nourished after using this cream. I have slightly oily skin and this worked well as it is light. I didnt find it made my skin more oily which is a huge plus for me, with the added bonus of an spf 15.
I would suggest you try this, I didnt find anything too wrong with this product.
Again I can't rave enough about the Essano products - this is just as fab! It smells great and feels nice on. Very reasonably priced too
Tips: I recommend buying the range - or at least this and the cleanser.
I bought this product because I heard rosehip is really good for the skin and it was quite cheap so I thought it was worth a try. When I first started using it, it was great. I loved how moisturising it was and how fast it absorbed into my skin. About 2 weeks into using it I started getting 1 or 2 random pimples and as soon as they would go away another 1 would pop out of nowhere and this went on for a few weeks. For me this was very unusual because I hardly ever get pimples and when I do its once in a while. I had not used any new products besides the moisturiser so naturally I thought it was the moisturiser. Once I stopped it for about a week, my face cleared up and i wasn't getting anymore breakouts. So unfortunately this product did not agree with me and I won't be using it again.
I wanted to get my siblings to get in the habit of wearing spf every day. I wanted something with natural, physical spf like zinc but knew they wouldn't wear anything that had a greasy feel. I also wanted it to be something that was budget friendly since I wanted to be able to repurchase regularly. Since I really liked the foaming cleanser by this brand I decided to try the spf 15 moisturizer. This moisturizer felt so light and within minutes of application it felt like I had nothing on. My siblings liked this moisturizer too. My teenage brother didn't mind applying this lightly floral-scented, pink moisturizer on his face even after his evening shower. I like to use this as a cheaper alternative to my Oasis Apple a Day on days I like to exercise earlier, particularly if I'm going for an early morning jog and I know I'm going to wash my face afterwards and will have to reapply my spf moisturizer. It's comfortable if I'm going to exercise and doesn't get oily when I sweat. I think that since it comes with a user friendly pump and a cap to protect the nozzle makes it easy to travel with without arriving at your destination with spf moisturizer all over the insides of your bag. I also like that the pump bottle is dark to protect the ingredients. The only things I'm not to fond of is that the spf isn't higher and ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate and C12-15 alkyl benzoate are high on the ingredients list. But that hasn't stopped me from repurchasing this spf moisturizer four times. I would recommend this for those with oily skin or perhaps they just don't like the feel of a heavier spf moisturizer.
Tips: Every now and supermarkets or the Warehouse has sales on Essano and you can get this a bit cheaper. It's a great budget, friendly option for those on a tight budget and have oily skin. Also feels great if you need spf moisturizer on before than morning jog and want something that feels like you have nothing on or your regular spf is just too precious to apply twice a day.
I have tried many face moisturisers over the years and this is the only one I have ever repurchased. I have very oily skin on my face, so I need a moisturiser that isn't going to leave me feeling greasy. I found this at countdown when it was on special for around $15, so I decided to give it a try.
I was surprised to find that when I used the product, it absorbed into my skin straight away. There was no greasy residue and I felt well moisturised. Usually I have to wait a long time for moisturisers to absorb before I can apply my makeup, but now I no longer need to wait.
The smell is nice and light, nothing overpowering. It has a faint rose scent to it. I love that it is NZ made, cruelty free and it can be easily purchased from countdown. Also it is spf 15 which is a bonus.
One problem I've found with the packaging is that the pump can't reach the product when it's half empty. This can be a bit annoying, but it hasn't deterred me from buying it again.
I'm not sure if this would be the best product for someone with dry skin, but I'd definitely recommend it to anyone with oily skin.
