I got given this by a friend of mine when I pregnant and I was quite excited to try it. I had tried the Essano cleansers before and found them quite nice.
This comes in a pump bottle with the simple Essano pink and brown. I'm typically not a huge pump bottle fan as I find you can never get the bottom product and its not something you can ever chuck in your makeup bag to head away anywhere.
It has only a faint scent, a tiny bit of a floral I guess rose scent nothing overpowering and nothing that bothered me at all.
Its a light non greasy consistency that applied to my skin well and absorbed easily. I have skin more prone to the dry side and while this was a lovely moisturiser its not quite heavy enough for what I like.
No irritations or anything (I also have quite sensitive skin). Overall this was a lovely moisturiser I just prefer something a little bit heavier.
I have tried many face moisturisers over the years and this is the only one I have ever repurchased. I have very oily skin on my face, so I need a moisturiser that isn't going to leave me feeling greasy. I found this at countdown when it was on special for around $15, so I decided to give it a try.
I was surprised to find that when I used the product, it absorbed into my skin straight away. There was no greasy residue and I felt well moisturised. Usually I have to wait a long time for moisturisers to absorb before I can apply my makeup, but now I no longer need to wait.
The smell is nice and light, nothing overpowering. It has a faint rose scent to it. I love that it is NZ made, cruelty free and it can be easily purchased from countdown. Also it is spf 15 which is a bonus.
One problem I've found with the packaging is that the pump can't reach the product when it's half empty. This can be a bit annoying, but it hasn't deterred me from buying it again.
I'm not sure if this would be the best product for someone with dry skin, but I'd definitely recommend it to anyone with oily skin.
