I purchased this as it was on special and I needed an spf based moisturiser. It does the job and is quick to absorb but it is not hydrating on my dry skin and is almost difficult to apply as it is so quick to absorb, resulting in me uncomfortably dragging my fingers across my skin. Will not repurchase.

Tips: Recommend for use on oily skin only.
I looove this moisturiser. It absorbs into your skin really well without leaving a heavy or greasy feeling on your face like some spf moisturisers. It's a great price, love how it's natural. The pump makes it super easy to use and you don't need a lot so lasts for ages. Highly reccomend this.
Tips: I use this on my hands in summer too
I have been using the Essano Moisturiser Rosehip Spf15 for a while now, and I have come to the conclusion that I really like it! The moisturiser is gorgeous with a subtle feeling of luxury to it, and I love knowing that my skin is protected by such a lovely product.
Firstly the Essano range is cruelty free and made in NZ, yippee! I try to always by beauty products which don't harm the bunnies, so it was great to see that Essano is ethical as well as producers of nice products. This moisturiser comes in a lovely pump pot style bottle, and the cream itself is surprisingly thick for a day moisturiser. It still smooths into the skin easily though, and doesn't leave the skin feeling greasy or oily at all. I've found my makeup sits on this foundation no problem, and it also has a very subtle scent which is absolutely lovely.
Does everything a moisturiser should, with the benefit of looking lovely on my makeup table! :)
The moisturiser is packaged in a lightweight, dark brown plastic bottle with a pump nozzle, with a rose pink label. I love the packaging of the Essano products, and are drawn to them because they are crafted in New Zealand and certified organic. They also don't use some of the top harsh ingredients like parabens, chemical sulphites and others. I picked up this moisturiser at the grocery store because it has SPF15 in it and wanted to add it into my routine. It's so hard finding daily moisturisers with SPF!
The moisturiser has a silky, light weight consistency, and is a pink lotion. It applies and smooths easily on the skin and absorbs quickly. It has a light perfume-y type smell, but not offensive. I like that it promises hydration and protection, both of which I feel it does a good job of doing, however, after using this product for two weeks, my skin continued to break out. I tried it again a few months later, hoping for a different outcome and sadly it's just not ideal for my oily skin. It's a pass for me.
I like Essano's products because they are made here in NZ and they don't have the not so good for you ingredients such as parabens. So really you can't go wrong.
The moisturizer comes in a pump bottle which I prefer to a tube simply due to ease of use. And it also has SPF15. When I get a moisturizer I try to get one's with SPF so that it's protecting my face during the day.
The moisturizer made my skin feel soft and well nourished. The scent was nothing to write home about but it wasn't offensive either.
Much like most of Essano's products, I like it. I would use it again because it is pleasant, works, affordable, natural, cruelty free and made in NZ. All things I like in a product (particularly skincare). But it never becomes something I couldn't give up to try something else.
Tips: Countdown often does good specials on this range.
After using the non SPF Essano moisturiser for a long time I decided to switch over to the SPF one because any SPF is better than none in my opinion. The original moisturiser was one of the very first products Essano brought out when they launched and I have been using it on and off since then. I need to switch things up every now and then so my skin doesn't tire of it and have a reaction to it. This bottle is a great size and I like the pump dispenser. I tend to use two pumps as I put the moisturiser on my face and as far down my neck and chest as I can. It turns to lock it for travel which is great, you don't waste any product in locking it to move it about. The product has minimal fragrance to it and is the consistency you would expect for what it is. My skin has had no reaction or breakout any of the times I've come back to it. My skin looks lovely and hydrated and is something I will repurchase many times over.
Again a muskey rosey smell. Wasint to sire what to expect after using the night cream. It looked and smelled the same. So i applyd a little bit just to see that it not to greasy for a day cream and it was not it was smooth and absorb very fast and my skin looked healthy and qaa ready to apply my foudation.
I really love the Essano products and have mutiple, however this product actually irritated my skin, I am still unsure why, but I don'y use it anymore and it was actually worse when I wore it in the sun..
I think it is probably my skin that was the issue, so I cannot give this a great review. Hopefully others have had a better experience.
Another amazing essano product that suits my skin. It comes in a good sized bottle and is reasonably priced. I love the smell of this! It has a mild musky scent. The texture is thick but it was easy to smooth over face. After each use my skin feels well moistursed and fresh. I love the fact that this can be purchased from my supermarket for a reasonable price. It is a quality brand and one of my beauty must haves.
A natural moisturizer with SPF protection is hard to find so when I saw this on sale at countdown I had to try it. It was about $20 regularly but I got if for about $12. After using it for a couple of weeks I would easily pay full price for this,
It comes in a nice bottle with a pump applicators and the formula is nice and light with a rose tint to it. It also has a lovely smell which wasn't too strong or overpowering. The moisturizer absorbs well and provided me what my skin needs - I have oily, sensitive skin and it did not irritate me or cause more oil to be produced.
I'm very happy with this product and will purchase again mainly because of the bonus of an SPF and the fair price.
