essano Intense Hydration Conditioner

Essano are one of my favourite brands because of the ingredients they use in their products. This conditioner is free from parabens, sulphates, and the dreaded preservative, methylisothiazolinone, which irritates my skin. It is also made in New Zealand and is not tested on animals. After using their skincare range I was very excited to learn that they were launching a hair care range.

The conditioner itself smells nice and mild. It is rich, and leaves my hair feeling lovely and conditioned. My hair is so soft after using this that it feels like it has been blessed by kittens.

I am very, very fussy when it comes to new conditioners. In my short unicorn maned life I have only come across one that I can use daily, one that doesn't leave my hair feeling gross and oily. However, the day has come where I've found another!

The bottle is a delightful pink, with a lid that opens when you push down on the other end, like a weird kind of see-saw. My first gripe is that I could tell immediately on the first use that this is a product that needs to be stored on its head, otherwise you'll be standing there shaking the bottle.

The product is white creamy pile of delicious that smells sooo awesome. It applies really well, and I didn't really need as much as I thought I did, maybe the same size as an old 50c coin! It also rinses really well and it leaves my hair feeling so lovely and happily, not an oil slick after one wash. I'm on day 4 of using this conditioner, and my hair still feels as good as it did 4 days ago, 2 days after a shampoo.

The bottle is huge, but I didn't realize it was $15!!! Good lord. In that case, me using it daily isn't quite as economical as I thought. Depending on how long this lasts me I would repurchase this as my daily conditioner (a sale would be good, too). So yes, it works, I like it, but the price is off putting!

After hearing amazing things about this conditioner on the forum then reading BR member Shazatron's review on this conditioner I had to try it. And besides I'm still on my "try all the Haircare products" bender. I also couldn't wait to get my mitts on this since it contains no nasties and has Argan oil in it I LOVE Argan oil

The bottle is a gorgeous pink cylinder shaped bottle with a push down lid up the top. After using this several times I'm finding it more and more difficult to get the conditioner out so have resorted to unscrewing the lid and pouring some out that way. I think it is mainly because the plastic is so hard it's hard to squeeze.

This has an amazing scent it's a clean slight floral scent. I can't quite place the scent it is a bit different but I love it. The consistency of the conditioner is on the thicker side which i love, a conditioner should be thick and rich.

I only use roughly 2 tablespoons for my long dry mop. It absorbs easily into my hair and it's easy to run through my hair. I let it soak in for a few minutes before rinsing it out.

As I'm rinsing it out I can feel my hair already feels super soft and no tangles. I let my hair air dry and notice it feels soft and manageable and I don't need to use as much Argan oil as I normally use. It feels hydrated and it actually looks healthy even though in all honestly it's a fried mess. I would repurchase this again definitely it's such a good conditioner and the scent lingers in your hair the day after I have washed it which is another bonus for me.

I have to preface this review by saying I love the Essano range of products and really enjoy using basically everything they already have out. When I heard they were releasing a range of shampoos and conditioners I could not have been happier. I have been struggling with my hair lately as it had been very dry and frizzy. I went out on a quest to get it healthy and looking good and over the past six months have tried out quite a range of different shampoos and conditioners to find my holy grail. I was planning on buying this as soon as it came out but as it happened I won come from Essano on Instagram, it was meant to be you could say. They sent me the Argan Oil variety and I immediately started using it. This conditioner has done my hair really well. I have been using it now for a couple of months and I have not been having to do deep conditioning treatments as often as I was before. This conditioner is really moisturising for my hair and it has reduced the frizziness heaps. The formula is the consistency you would expect from a conditioner and it smells great. The scent sticks around for a while after and I like it. The packaging is really nice and I like the cylinder bottles it comes in. They stand nicely in the shower and would be good to travel with. I really like this conditioner and it has done my hair a world of good. I think I have found my holy grail for my hair and I will not be changing to anything else any time soon. Thanks Essano for fulfilling my high expectations once again. This product is perfect for my hair, is cruelty free, is NZ based, is reasonable and easily available. It doesn't get any better than that!

I managed to get this awesome conditioner in the Beauty Vault so was happy to try as I'm pretty much in love with all the other Essano products! The conditioner is thick and creamy and has a lovely fresh smell that I haven't smelt in other conditioners. I found you don't need heaps of it to spread if over (I have shoulder length hair) to get good coverage. After rinsing, my hair was easy to brush and felt great and still smelt lovely a couple of hours after use. My only gripe would be the packaging as the bottle is made from quite thick plastic so I sometimes struggled to squeeze the conditioner out. If you're looking for a reasonably priced, NZ based, cruelty free conditioner that does what it says then I recommend this one!

I had heard great things about essano products so bought this when I’d run out of conditioner. I’m loving it! It’s thick and nourishing, it sinks right into the hair when applied and almost disappears so it feels like your hair is really drinking it in. My ends get so dry as I have really fine hair that is coloured and straightened regularly and this conditioner gives it back some shine and smoothness. For the price, and the convenience of being able to get it at the supermarket this is a bargain.

My only complaint is that the bottle makes it really difficult to actually get the conditioner out. That’s fairly annoying.

Smells so good and leaves your hair soft and silky. I just adore this whole range. I dye my hair, so the argan oil leaves it smelling great and it is so nourishing.

I received this in my last beauty review Christmas mystery box and was really surprised by the Essano range. My hair is thick and curly and is often really dry. This conditioner left my hair hydrated and more manageable. I now continue purchasing these products. My go to shampoo and conditioner are typically the R&Co; or Living Proof, so a much more affordable option is Essano, which does a great job!

Essano intense hydration dry hair conditioner is like a deep moisturizing treatment, because of the argan oil and about 10 other beautiful moisturizing oils and natural ingredients. It also contains B5 protein to strengthen hair. It left my hair with weightless bounce and shine. It has a beautiful tropical smell of coconut and ylangylang with a touch of hibiscus. I like the signature pink and black bottle it looks classy. The only thing I did find it a bit difficult to shake the conditioner out, as it has a lift up lid. I bought it on special I don't think I'd pay full price as it's only a 300ml bottle. But it's worth it for the results and natural ingredients. I think it's just as good as most salon conditioners
