essano Oil Control Deep Pore Cleanser

Ok right off the bat, the smell is not for me. My friend and I agree that it smells like window cleaner! But my flatmate says it reminds her of something like clean and clear from back in the day. Scent aside, I don't find it too drying which is good. My skin is a little bit dryer this time of year so I definitely need to follow up with a moisturiser regardless of which cleanser I use. A bit too soon to tell if it's made a lasting improvement in my skin, but my T Zone has been less oily and I've only had minimal breakouts (though I think my birth control is to blame for the current pimples!) If you can get past the scent, I would recommend trying it out. Especially since it's a kiwi brand!

This cleanser would be one of my favourites. The scent is not too powerful and definitely not very floral at all. It's almost quite a masculine scent. I loved the way it foamed up and it left my skin feeling very refreshed. Highly recommend this product. My skin has definitely been less oily than normal.

I felt the gel really helped with balancing the oils on my face and leaving a fresh feeling after. I have been using this deep cleaner for almost 2 weeks, and as my skin has been becoming less oily.

This was a nice cleanser, gentle around sensitive parts of my face like underneath my eyes and around my nose. It improved redness around my cheeks and nose and carefully lifted away dirt from my lash extensions which I carefully used the cleanser with a cotton bud. I would recommend this toner for sensitive skin and I find it really effective.

My skin is complicated. Some days it is dry but for the majority of the time it is oily, especially around my t-zone. As soon as I saw that this product helped to remove oil AND unclog my pores, I knew I just had to try it. I wanted to do a little experiment the first day I used it and didn't remove any of my full face of makeup, just to see how powerful it was in removing make up. I definitely recommend that you use some form of makeup removal before washing your face with this as my skin was definitely not clean using this alone. The next day I removed my make up first before washing my face and what a difference it made. After washing my face my skin felt super clean and clear and not dry like some other oil control cleansers can make your face. I couldn't believe how soft my face was afterwards. It also has a pleasant scent and is not overpowering, so if you are sensitive to scent, this one could be for you! These past few days using this cleanser, I must say, my skin is looking a lot clearer and not so red. I would even be as bold to say that some of my pigmentation on my face is lesser. I would also say my oils are calmed down a little as well.

I would use it again. I think my only criticism is how little product you get for the price but that would be it. All you oily girls out there GIVE IT A GO!

So I have to confess I had no idea what Niacinamide was before joining this trial team. A quick Google turned into a longer reading session, but essentially its a type of Vitamin B, great for treating acne, rosacea and pigmentation issues.

This is my new top-of-the-list cleanser. I've previously been loving a La Roche Posay cleanser for oily-combo skin, but this knocks it out of the park!

It deep cleans without drying or stripping skin bare and absolutely works to balance out oily skin. What's very cool is I've noticed an improvement to my oily T-zone and the clogged pores/blackheads on it, but it hasn't negatively impacted my 'normal/dry' rest of face.

I have quite a ruddy complexion but I feel this really evens out my skin tone.

I've been using once a day (in the evening) and for me its enough, but I do think it's likely gentle enough to use twice daily with no ill effect!

This product has a creamy lather, which leaves skin feeling clean and refreshed. Good starting product for the morning skincare routine. Skin feels clean and tight afterwards ready for the next step, toner! Very easy to use with its convenient pump dispenser and good measure of product coming out first pump. This cleanser is priced affordably and easy to purchase from most supermarket retailers so it's a good deal and easy to buy or replace. I would definitely recommend to anyone who has oily skin and gets shiny skin during the day.

There was a lot to like about this cleanser. It left my skin feeling clean but without that tight feeling you sometimes get.

I didn't love the smell, but it wasn't unpleasant but I liked the way my skin felt afterwards.

The bottle has a pump and is easy to use in the shower. I will definitely continue to use this and would consider buying it in the future.
