essano Hydrating Rosehip Rengerating Facial Moisturiser

I purchased this as part of the Essano Rosehip Kit in a 30ml sample size. I have oily, acne-prone skin so normally I tend to purchase facial moisturisers specifically aimed to treat this but after hearing so many ladies rave about the range on here and reading about the benefits of rosehip oil I wanted to give this a go.

The packaging of the product is both stylish and functional, the brown plastic colour scheme with rose coloured label displays beautifully on the counter. The moisturising cream is easily dispensed with a pump while the plastic cap is secure enough that it can be easily stored without worrying it will go everywhere.

Like the rest of the range this product is lightly scented with just a hint of rosehip, the fragrance sweet and feminine but not overpowering which suits me well as I don’t like overly perfumed products for my face. The formula itself is a lightweight lotion well suited for a daily moisturiser. I applied a small amount of this to my face and neck and it absorbed easily. I had expected my skin to feel greasy as most moisturisers I have tried that weren't specifically formulated for my skin type end up making me look a shiny mess, but instead my skin just felt soft and nourished.

This is a great product if you're want a cruelty-free moisturiser that will work with most skin types. I probably won't be purchasing this again just right now as I'm still wanting to focus on more acne-treating products but when I no longer want these I would definately repurchase this.

I love the smell of this moisturiser, however it is quite strong so should be avoided by people who don't like strong smelling products. The packaging is a nice design and I liked having a pump on my moisturiser, as all the ones i've use previously haven't had one. The actual moisturiser works well and helps a lot with dry skin, especially using before putting on makeup.

I have one of those skin types where i would try a moisturiser before bed and wake up the next morning not being able to open my eyes from the allergic reaction. After years of trial and error this is the ONLY moisturiser where i havent had any allergic reaction to! I am so thankful i found this product, ive been using it every night for the last 8 months and ive just only run out and will be buying more (a little goes a long way). It does smell quite strong so beware if thats not your cup of tea, and it is quite oily on your skin so maybe use just before bed, but the fact that it seems to be so natural i am so so happy about!!

I got this in the sample pack on special from Countdown, used my Nivea battery powered facial kit with the soft foam attachment to apply moisturiser & found it left my face very soft & hydrated. Used with the Essano foaming cleanser, its a great little moisturiser, I didn't use it on my eyes though, because I use a Nivea eye cream.

Im in love with essano products at the moment. I really can't get enough of it. I use this after I cleanse my face with the essano cleanser. It leaves my face feeling so soft and hydrated. This is a perfect moisturizer & I would definitely recommend this product. :)

I get really excited trying out new skincare! So when I brought the roseship essano pack I couldn't wait to try it, and it was not a let down! Such a lovely product to put on, and makes the skin feel extremely soft! It was lovely to use on my senestive skin as well. I also really like the packaging for this product, it has a nice clean look too it! Will be buying this one again

I purchased this in the miniature kit that Essano sells as I wasn't sure I would love it...well I did!

First of all, I love the packaging of this product! Why can't all products have a pump like this! So much more convenient and mess-free.

The moisturiser itself has a nice botanical rose scent (I don't love the smell of rosehip oil and this was a lot nicer scent wise than the oil) and a small pump is sufficient to cover my entire face and neck. It absorbs quickly into the skin making it suitable for under makeup without effecting the end result of makeup application and wont slow down the process (like some which seem to sit on the skin for a long time).

I have sensitive dry skin so am glad to say this did not cause any irritation. It provided sufficient hydration so that my skin wasn't feeling like it still needed moisture, but, didn't feel like it was covered in a film either.

I am very happy I decided to try this out as I think it is fast becoming a new favourite and is something I will be repurchasing. I love that it is far more natural than some other products I enjoy and free from the less beneficial ingredients they often include.

Would recommend this to all with dry sensitive skin in need of some natural nourishment!

First of all I have to say, I loveeeee this product! I use this product as a facial moisturiser, it works wonders. It smells nice, a soft scent of sweet roses - not too harsh either.

I apply this product to my face after I have used the Essano Rosehip Facial Cleanser, getting a result of a very very soft, nice smelling face. The consistency of this product it a light slightly liquid, which absorbs straight away! I only need a pump for my whole face and neck.

I have had this product for a month now and there is a lot left, judging by how much I have used so far, it will probably last me till next year. When it runs out I will be rushing back to the supermarket to get some!

This product is great for those who have combination (leaning to dryer/sensitive skin type) skin as it evens it out perfect and where I normally have oily skin - under my chin and my forehead - it does not make it more oily at all!

I recommend all skin types to try this product! You will not be disappointed.

I absolutely love this.. I find this makes your skin feel so soft, it absorbs quickly and doesn't leave your skin feeling greasy but just soft and smooth. I will keep continuing to repurchase as it smells great, works and can be picked up from the supermarket. I also find this brand is a great alternative to Trilogy products as they are just as good but more accessible.

I have wanted to try this for ages, but was a bit put off by the price. It was on sale at Countdown one week, so decided to finally get it and see what all the fuss was about.

When I first tried it, I used one full pump. I soon realised that you do not need a full pump to get enough product to cover your face. I have been using half a pump and find this is plenty to moisturise my face and neck.

I have been using this for 3 weeks now and have definitely noticed an improvement with the texture of my skin. I also find that after applying the product my skin feels moisturised for an extremely long time.

The fine lines around my eyes are slowly disappearing, which is great.

The smell is pleasant and not overpowering like some moisturisers can be.

I would be interested to see if using the whole range for my skincare regime makes a difference.

The only criticism I have with this moisturiser is that I feel that it affects the application of certain foundations, but I would rather change foundations than change moisturisers because now that I have found this, unless the next big thing influences me to buy it/try it, I will be sticking to this one!
