I was given this as a christmas present along with a scrub and night creme. I have combination skin and am prone to chin breakouts. I found this to be great for my skin. It smells pretty good and you only need a little product to cover your whole face and neck. With my previous moisturiser I found that throughout the day my skin would get very oily but this hasn't been happening with this product. It would seem to be balancing my skin quite nicely. I am definatley a convert and love this range. Next time though I will be investing in the moisturiser with an SPF, that I think is the only drawback of this product I have been able to find.

Tips: Use with one of the facewashes/scrubs in this range
I have been using this moisturiser since I had a trial of it from Countdown online shopping. After I finished the deluxe sample which actually lasted me a long time I purchased the full sized bottle.
My skin type: Combination (dry areas with oily t-zone)
Packaging, coming in a plastic bottle of semi opaque brown to resemble old glassware, and with a wrapping of essano logo and colour of rose pink, complete with a pump action dispenser which allows you to get the right amount in one shot for coverage over your entire face, creating less mess from overspill.
Formula, a nice thick cream that melts onto your face as you gently massage it in, I use this at night time right after I have washed my face as a skin booster and have only just started to do this since I got the deluxe as I had other creams in my regime and no real room for a rosehip one, especially when rosehip is a healing oil but the best thing about this moisturiser is that is also has jojoba oil in it which is brilliant for combination skin so the moisturisers has most skin concerns covered. The aroma of the cream is also amazing and transports you to a warm summer evening sat in the backyard of an old English rose garden with the heavy musk of warmed roses.
After using this cream for over the course of a fortnight, once a day, straight after cleansing my face at night time I found that my skin looked more perky and less tired. The combination of natural oils in the cream helps balance my skin.
There is no residual stickiness that you find with other creams, especially as with the pump dispenser you only take what you need, there is no left over on your hands to get sticky, it all melts nicely and settle quickly into your skin. It is as if your skin drinks it up!
This is the first product from the Essano range that I have tried and I was drawn in by their use of Rosehip Oil.
I must say, I do like this moisturiser. It is quite light and great for everyday wear. The scent is pleasant but can take a little bit of getting used to. I really like the pump bottle and find them way more convenient than the typical tube. It is reasonably lightweight, doesn't feel greasy and it is gentle on the skin with lots of good natural ingredients.
I haven't noticed any improvement in the redness in my skin; but I haven't noticed it getting any worse! I would buy again; despite being a little more expensive then other supermarket brands, it is a decent size bottle and has lasted me a while so far. I am keen to try the other products after using this!
Tips: Countdown also often have sales including Essano - that would be the best time to give it a go.
So i brought a couple of the roseship products on range at the local supremarket. I love the way this moisturiser lathers on the skin, it is so hydrating and gives a beautiful complexcity, Affordible for the quality given azwell.
This is a reasonably thick moisturiser with a light rosehip scent. When I first got it I didn't like it much as I found it made my face a little greasy, but now that I've finished the bottle I can say that I enjoyed using it.
I used this every day before I applied makeup or on it's own. After I wash my face it can feel quite tight and dry, and I found that this worked well at taking away the dry feeling.
One of the things I didn't like about it was that you had to rub it in for a while to get rid of the white steaks it left when I first applied it. The pump is also quite annoying, it either squirts out too much or not enough.
Overall I did enjoy using this product, but I'm excited to try something new that might work better for my skin.
What I like about this product is that is natural and has no parabens and natural plant based. It is also a New Zealand made product and cruelty free. The organics are certified. I got this with a magazine from my mum in a 20ml tube both the lid and tube can be recycled apparently. The cream smells nice if you like the smell of rose hip oil and the cream itself hydrates quite good. A small amount goes a decent way at first I thought I would need more as it seems to soak in to the skin but later my skin certainly felt hydrated enough without feeling all oily. I felt if I touched my skin the thin film which probably came from the oil in it and it was not unpleasant. I see this product online cheaper than the price above so it is actually affordable and I find these days that is not the case usually with alot of good plant based / botanical cosmetics. The packaging is simple yet affective I like pink and gold. I might purchase in future.
Got a sample tube and very pleased with it. I do have oily skin and it seems to not leave it feeling sticky and gross like some other moisturizers. I do prefer the Moisture Mist moisturizer tho as not as thick and just seems to work better with my skin.
I got this a long while back from the supermarket and was impressed. It is a super light face cream and absorbs super quickly into the skin. I didn’t find it as hydrating as promised and ended up using a face oil under it for more moisture. Hubby started using it though and loves it as the scent is not strong and as it’s light it’s easy to rub in and doesn’t get stuck in his beard (lol). Probably wouldn’t buy it again but its just my personal preference to use something super hydrating. It would probably suit teens with oily/combination skin.
Tips: For more hydration go in with a face oil first!
I have this in a travel size version and you dont need to use much as it spreads easily. It felt very comfortable, not oily and it absorbed into my skin pretty quickly. It was quite hydrating for my dry skin and I love that it's made with organic ingredients in New Zealand.
I would have prefered if it didn't have a fragrance. Most fragrances give me a migraine so I tend to avoid products with fragrances most of the time.
When the tube is finished, I won't be repurchasing simply because I have other moisturisers that I like better and they don't contain fragrances. I would however, recommend this if that didn't bother the person because it is a good moisturiser.
I love the smell of this moisturiser, however it is quite strong so should be avoided by people who don't like strong smelling products. The packaging is a nice design and I liked having a pump on my moisturiser, as all the ones i've use previously haven't had one. The actual moisturiser works well and helps a lot with dry skin, especially using before putting on makeup.
