This moisturiser is natural and has nothing bad in it its all good. No parabens, no sulphates, no silicones, no mineral oils (most supermarket brands have petroleum in yes from petrol) no GMOs, and best of all no animal testing and made in NZ It is also partially organic and over 97% natural. This is the best of the best when it comes to supermarket natural skincare and I'm glad they're finally marketing these types. It didn't irritate my skin at all, I have sensitive skin, it made my skin feel soft and well moisturised without any oily residue, its a great under makeup base as it was absorbed quickly in about a minute. My skin loved this. People have commented on my skin looking so lovely as well since I've been using it They even sell gift boxes which is a great idea.

Tips: Don't let your boyfriend steal it because he will, when he sees how good your skins looking
This moisturiser has the perfect texture - in between a runny lotion and a cream. The pump bottle is convenient until you get to the last bit, then it's a bit of a pain trying to get every last drop out. I like the convenience of being able to buy it from the supermarket. The scent is lovely, and it sinks into the skin quickly and moisturises well.
Great moisturiser - already been through 3 bottles of it! Really nice smell to it, and rubs/soaks into the skin really well. I've got really dry skin, and find it hydrates brilliantly (and I can also apply a couple of layers over my really dry patches without it going a funny texture). The only negative is that I've found it makes my face 'sweat' more than usual, as the sweat sort of just sits on the skin - so during really really hot summer days I use a different and lighter moisturiser for that reason.
Tips: I wouldn't reccomend applying over the top of an oil (like Essano Rosehip oil) as it can make it have a funny crumbly texture - so best used on it's own :)
I've used Olay (are we allowed to mention other products here?) for years, but my daughter put me onto this range so thought I'd try the daily moisturiser. First problem was getting the pump feature to work, had to wrestle with it for a while to get it to release and work. I believe others have had the same problem. However once working properly I really like the product. Smells nice, moisturises nicely without greasy residue. Overall I will happily keep using the product, price is agreeable and packaging (apart from fighting initially with the pump feature) is attractive.
They seem to have discontinued this particular product and replaced it with the Bliss, Calm and Adore body lotions which is somewhat disappointing.
I loved the weight of this lotion. It absorbed into the skin very nicely and left my skin feeling soft and smelling great. The scent was one of those that lasts all day if applied straight after a shower yet it wasn’t heavy/greasy at all.
I hope they bring this lotion back
This is a reasonably thick moisturiser with a light rosehip scent. When I first got it I didn't like it much as I found it made my face a little greasy, but now that I've finished the bottle I can say that I enjoyed using it.
I used this every day before I applied makeup or on it's own. After I wash my face it can feel quite tight and dry, and I found that this worked well at taking away the dry feeling.
One of the things I didn't like about it was that you had to rub it in for a while to get rid of the white steaks it left when I first applied it. The pump is also quite annoying, it either squirts out too much or not enough.
Overall I did enjoy using this product, but I'm excited to try something new that might work better for my skin.
After using the SPF moisturiser offered by Essano I thought I would try out their non-SPF product to compare. I definitely like this product less than the SPF moisturiser, even though I can't quite pinpoint why. Here are my thoughts anyway:
1. Lovely packaging, a standard from Essano. Looks lovely on my makeup table and is easy to disperse product. No complaints here.
2. The moisturiser itself is way runnier than expected, and a little goes a very long way. I wonder if perhaps this is what I dislike about it — the Essano SPF moisturiser has a lovely thickness to it which makes it feel very luxurious. I like to feel as though my skin is really getting a full on moisture treatment, which I don't really get with this very lightweight product.
3. The effects of this moisturiser have been fine — no more redness, breakouts etc than usual. Seems to do the job and provide skin with a good amount of nourishment without being overly greasy or oily.
So overall, I would recommend this moisturiser for anyone looking for a nice, lightweight product. However I personally won't repurchase since it doesn't contain an SPF and also has no real WOW factor for me either!
I frickin' love the smell of this moisturiser, it makes me feel amazing when I smell that good! Lol..in terms of the way it moisturises-I have had better, but I do wear this a few times a week after my shower, basically because I love the way it smells.
Tips: Do not use sparingly lol
What I like about this product is that is natural and has no parabens and natural plant based. It is also a New Zealand made product and cruelty free. The organics are certified. I got this with a magazine from my mum in a 20ml tube both the lid and tube can be recycled apparently. The cream smells nice if you like the smell of rose hip oil and the cream itself hydrates quite good. A small amount goes a decent way at first I thought I would need more as it seems to soak in to the skin but later my skin certainly felt hydrated enough without feeling all oily. I felt if I touched my skin the thin film which probably came from the oil in it and it was not unpleasant. I see this product online cheaper than the price above so it is actually affordable and I find these days that is not the case usually with alot of good plant based / botanical cosmetics. The packaging is simple yet affective I like pink and gold. I might purchase in future.
It is a really gentle product on your skin but I didn't notice it moisturize my skin. It seemed to evaporate really fast and so my skin didn't feel any smoother or softer. Also I didn't like the smell. But it is a nice product for sensitive skin
