Essano Rosehip Regenerating Facial Moisturiser is a lovely nourishing moisturiser for my normal to dry skin. Just a small amount is perfect to completely moisturise the face and neck. The fragrance is not overly scented and the moisturiser provides a perfect base for foundation. It is also nourishing enough to use in the evening and I like to apply it over my retinol, especially in the winter when my skin can be more dry.

Tips: Wait about 10 minutes for the moisturiser to absorb fully into the skin before applying makeup.
I'd tried a trial set of the vitamin C moisturiser and so when I needed to purchase a new moisturiser, the rosehip version ticked every box. I was really underwhelmed with the product though. It had a thick consistency and didn't seem to provide much moisture. I found myself reaching for other products to either add moisture or just replace. I love essano but just not this moisturiser unfortunately.
This facial cream is one of the thickest facial creams I have ever tried. I really did not enjoy using this product at all. I wouldn't recommend it unless your face is so dry and flaky! Like I felt like this product is maybe better for my body than my Face just from how thick it was! I would apply less and less every time, but my skin was not absorbing this thick cream. and then it will look like I'm sweating from how thick the cream is.
I have been using this moisturiser for years, and it is excellent. I use it at night only, as during the day I use a pretty thick sunscreen that is hydrating. It's quite a thick moisturiser, but not at all greasy, just hydrating.
I can't seem to find a face cream that doesn't slide off my face 5 minutes after application. With pandemic mask wearing and Summer this product misses the mark for me. Not the right one for me except in winter. So disappointed as I really want to love this product as I love the other essano products.
With skin as dry and sensitive as mine, I am constantly on the lookout for a product that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg and actually works. This moisturiser ticks all the boxes. I’m a huge fan of Essano range as I find their products usually do the job - well! A lot of people are mentioning how thick the consistency is and that they don’t like it, but I love it! I’ll pump once into my hands and massage that into my face and décolletage. I don’t see anything wrong with gently massaging my skin, getting the blood flowing and the like. After about 30 seconds of this the product starts to absorb. I don’t find that it sweats out or anything. My skin is lovely and plump, moisturised, and even a bit clearer than usual, though I am using Essano and other products at the same time to target these concerns. All up, I’m very pleased with the results and will be purchasing again.
Essano Hydrating Rosehip Regenerating Moisturiser Is a fabulous creamy textured Moisturiser that is non greasy and has a pleasant natural fragrance, of Rosehip. It's so hydrating on my face and neck and layers well with other brands and my spf day cream as well . It's a very reasonable price for such a large bottle . The pump dispenser is very easy to use , no fumbling with lid tops especially when you are using more than one product at a time Great It's made in Newzealand aswell.
Tips: Great layering product.
I use this as my everyday moisturiser and i love it , smells good and goes on really smooth . It’s not tacky and sticky and my skin soaks it up withdraws no issues. The rose hip helps with any problem red spots.
Tips: Moisturiser is the key to happy skin so apply it !
I loved how this moisturiser is in a pump bottle. No waste, and also more hygienic. I found that it didn’t do much for my skin though. Maybe if you use it with a good serum or the rosehip oil? But on it’s own my skin still felt dry.
Tips: Use with a good moisturising oil or serum if you have dry skin.
I tried a sample size of this product on holiday when I had run out of my regular before we left town. It can be found in most supermarkets so it's easy to find, its cruelty free, and made in New Zealand which are all big ticks for me. It has a lovely texture and smell and was gentle enough for my sensitive skin. Will definitely be buying this again if I find myself in a tight spot.
