I am a big fan of this whole range if I'm honest - my bottle has lasted me the better part of the year, as you don't need a lot. Smells wonderful and feels great. I do wonder if it is contributing to my dermatitis but it feels too nice on my skin to stop! lol. I will have to try it eventually as I hear rosehip can have that effect on some people. Regardless, as a moisturiser it is fantastic - my skin feels so supple and soft after using it! And definitely great value for money

I brought this for my Husband as he tends to get a dry face after shaving. It works really well for him, and smells great. Doesn't leave his face to shinny either. I tried it a few times but I have oily skin and didn't see any benefit like my husband did.
I received generous samples of both this and the rosehip oil and out of the two products I far preferred this one. My first impressions were that I really liked the simple but pretty packaging, my eyes would definitely be drawn to it browsing the beauty aisle. I used this on my hands (esp after hand washing) which are very dry and wrinkly (for a 29 year old anyway!). After a couple of days they felt noticeably smoother and softer. I don't mind the scent although it did last a little longer than i'd like. It soaked into my skin very quickly and didn't leave a yucky greasy feeling which is also a bonus. I really enjoyed this moisturiser as a slightly more "fancy" alternative to my every day (aveeno) routine.
I really like this moisturiser! Its the one I am using at the moment and have no complaints. Good price for the amount of product you receive. Easy to find & buy- just a local supermarket. Smells nice, feels good, lightweight lotion but very moisturising for a lotion rather than cream product.
I only didn't rate it 5/5 because even though I love the ease of a pump, its a pain when travelling. You have to pump a whole lot of product out (or back in to the bottle) to be able to close off the pump and lock it in place. Does that make sense? Just not as easy as popping on a lid. Plus, the packaging is nice too, caught my eye while browsing.
Tips: One pump is too much for your face, just use half.
I was skeptical about this brand because I tend to be a bit of a skincare snob and this is from the supermarket, but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality! It absorbs really easily, has a delicate scent and leaves my face feeling lovely and soft. I am keen to try some more products from the range now.
I love the smell of this moisturiser, however it is quite strong so should be avoided by people who don't like strong smelling products. The packaging is a nice design and I liked having a pump on my moisturiser, as all the ones i've use previously haven't had one. The actual moisturiser works well and helps a lot with dry skin, especially using before putting on makeup.
I was given this as a christmas present along with a scrub and night creme. I have combination skin and am prone to chin breakouts. I found this to be great for my skin. It smells pretty good and you only need a little product to cover your whole face and neck. With my previous moisturiser I found that throughout the day my skin would get very oily but this hasn't been happening with this product. It would seem to be balancing my skin quite nicely. I am definatley a convert and love this range. Next time though I will be investing in the moisturiser with an SPF, that I think is the only drawback of this product I have been able to find.
Tips: Use with one of the facewashes/scrubs in this range
I have been using this moisturiser since I had a trial of it from Countdown online shopping. After I finished the deluxe sample which actually lasted me a long time I purchased the full sized bottle.
My skin type: Combination (dry areas with oily t-zone)
Packaging, coming in a plastic bottle of semi opaque brown to resemble old glassware, and with a wrapping of essano logo and colour of rose pink, complete with a pump action dispenser which allows you to get the right amount in one shot for coverage over your entire face, creating less mess from overspill.
Formula, a nice thick cream that melts onto your face as you gently massage it in, I use this at night time right after I have washed my face as a skin booster and have only just started to do this since I got the deluxe as I had other creams in my regime and no real room for a rosehip one, especially when rosehip is a healing oil but the best thing about this moisturiser is that is also has jojoba oil in it which is brilliant for combination skin so the moisturisers has most skin concerns covered. The aroma of the cream is also amazing and transports you to a warm summer evening sat in the backyard of an old English rose garden with the heavy musk of warmed roses.
After using this cream for over the course of a fortnight, once a day, straight after cleansing my face at night time I found that my skin looked more perky and less tired. The combination of natural oils in the cream helps balance my skin.
There is no residual stickiness that you find with other creams, especially as with the pump dispenser you only take what you need, there is no left over on your hands to get sticky, it all melts nicely and settle quickly into your skin. It is as if your skin drinks it up!
This is the first product from the Essano range that I have tried and I was drawn in by their use of Rosehip Oil.
I must say, I do like this moisturiser. It is quite light and great for everyday wear. The scent is pleasant but can take a little bit of getting used to. I really like the pump bottle and find them way more convenient than the typical tube. It is reasonably lightweight, doesn't feel greasy and it is gentle on the skin with lots of good natural ingredients.
I haven't noticed any improvement in the redness in my skin; but I haven't noticed it getting any worse! I would buy again; despite being a little more expensive then other supermarket brands, it is a decent size bottle and has lasted me a while so far. I am keen to try the other products after using this!
Tips: Countdown also often have sales including Essano - that would be the best time to give it a go.
After using the SPF moisturiser offered by Essano I thought I would try out their non-SPF product to compare. I definitely like this product less than the SPF moisturiser, even though I can't quite pinpoint why. Here are my thoughts anyway:
1. Lovely packaging, a standard from Essano. Looks lovely on my makeup table and is easy to disperse product. No complaints here.
2. The moisturiser itself is way runnier than expected, and a little goes a very long way. I wonder if perhaps this is what I dislike about it — the Essano SPF moisturiser has a lovely thickness to it which makes it feel very luxurious. I like to feel as though my skin is really getting a full on moisture treatment, which I don't really get with this very lightweight product.
3. The effects of this moisturiser have been fine — no more redness, breakouts etc than usual. Seems to do the job and provide skin with a good amount of nourishment without being overly greasy or oily.
So overall, I would recommend this moisturiser for anyone looking for a nice, lightweight product. However I personally won't repurchase since it doesn't contain an SPF and also has no real WOW factor for me either!
