I have quite oily skin, so I am always weary about night creams, because they often leave me looking like an oil slick with even more skin congestion, but this beauty was different. The night creme comes packaged beautifully in a green glass tub. The creme itself is thick and mint green in colour, with a very fresh natural scent. The creme was very cooling to apply, and very soothing. I woke up each day after using this with much softer and smoother skin, with no greasy appearance. This isn't too heavy, so sometimes I even used it as a day creme. I have quite sensitive skin, and this was very gentle and never caused me to breakout or any other irritations. I would happily repurchase this!

I love this product, I got a sample size and as soon as it ran out I went and brought a full one. Its easy to put on, feels almost cooling in this summer heat! It smells nice despite having kale in the name (surprisingly!).
Tips: I use the tumeric oil before hand and it works well as a duo.
I have sensitive skin and this did not irritate it at all. The consistency of this product is thick, yet it spreads out quite thin and goes a long way and will last ages. Gives out lots of moisture which I really loved as I also have dry skin
I found this moisturizer to be really hydrating. I use it in conjunction with the turmeric oil.
Even with an oil as a base, this moisturizer was absorbed easily into my skin unlike the daytime moisturizer which sat ontop of my skin.
I found it spread well and didn't leave any white streaks on my face. In the morning my skin felt plump and dewy, not oily and not blotchy. I loved it enough that I gave up my Lancome Hydrazen night cream in favour of this one.
Plus it smells good and the cream is reasonably thick too so you don't need too much.
I was on the lookout for a new skincare range. I tried the Essano rosehip range a few years ago which I didn't enjoy, but I liked the look of the new superfoods range so I purchased a sample set so I could give it a try. But unfortunately, this didn't work for me either.
This product comes in a nice dark green jar and product smells quite nice but fortunately that's where my compliments for this product end. I just found it to be super thick and almost impossible to spread nicely across my skin. As a result, I found that I was using quite a bit and still missing parts of my face. Because it was so thick, it felt like it just sat on my skin and didn't soak into it. Needless to say I won't be using this again.
Tips: Buy the sample pack first to try it out before committing to buying the full size products.
It's a nice creme as far as texture and fragrance. I got a tester kit to try it all out but the night creme had set solid. So I bought a full size one anyway so that I could still try it. Lucky this one wasn't set. It leaves so much grease on my face and makes my skin break out from clogged pores. (Even after washing my face in the morning) I adore the smell, but as far as the actual product goes I personally wish I hadn't spent $20 on a big jar of creme ill never use
I have dry, sensitive skin, so I was attracted by the idea of a robust, organic, gentle night cream, and I really like some of Essano's other products. It comes in a green glass jar, which looks nice but for hygiene I'd far prefer a pump or squeeze tube. It's a very cool bright green colour and smells DIVINE, and I love that it's all natural and NZ-made. But boy is it thick and oily! It's so thick, I can't spread it properly and it ends up in patches. And when it finally melts a bit on the skin, it feels like an oil slick. I can't help wondering if I just got a bad batch, because in the jar it looked a bit like it had melted and separated or something. I don't really want to buy another jar to find out though. I'm using the rest of mine on my legs and dry heels, which it's lovely for.
It might suit someone who likes facial oils (which I really don't), so for that reason I might cautiously recommend it to certain friends, as the ingredients, gentleness (it didn't react with my skin at all), low cost and gorgeous natural fragrance are all really strong points.
Tips: Buy the SuperFoods trial pack before committing to a full-size jar.
Honestly it's pretty basic for a cream which is what you'd expect buying something like this from Countdown. It is quite thick but I like that for a night cream. It definitely moisturised my skin and was good after serums. I have combination skin and it didn't cause my T-zone to be oily in the morning. So yeah, it's not bad
I love the scent of this night cream and i’m usually loyal to essano but i’ve found this night cream to be very oily and too thick. It’s nothing special and i don’t think i will be implementing it back into my routine.
Out of this whole range of skincare this one I didn’t like. I think I possibly got a bad one. It was very thick and hard to get out, it was almost impossible to smooth over my face. I think it possibly dried out but I discontinued use after the second time because of this.
