essano Visible Repair Facial Elixir

At nearly 87 I am certainly not deluded enough to hope for magic reduction of my multiple wrinkles but I was very interested to discover whether aged skin could reap any benefit from this product.

As I had a very quiet, home based few days on my schedule I chose to simply treat just one side of my face - so that it might be easier to detect any small benefit. Within just a few days the treated side definitely appeared a bit firmer and brighter - so I changed to an entire face routine.

After not much more than a week I can report that my skin is certainly improved - wrinkles, that had deepened and sharpened after more than a year of health issues, are now much soft and less defined , very noticeably those between nose and upper lip.

Such satisfying results so quickly - and I have to confess I do not even follow the instruction re cleanse and tone prior to use - a warm water facecloth suffices! I don't have any Visible Repair Day or Night Cream to follow up with either but have substituted Essano Rosehip Hydrating Regenerating Moisturiser.

At first I thought the bottle is so tiny, and that the 20mls wouldn’t last long, but it’s such a thin oil that also smells amazing! It really lasts so long. Absorbs very quickly, and i definitely saw a huge difference in the texture of my skin within a week. My skin looks and feels younger.

The minute 3 ml bottle with a dropper contained the Essano Visible Repair. It is a very fine liquid with an appealing fresh aroma that applies very easily to the skin. I did feel an all-day glow at first application and day cream goes over very easily afterwards. Night cream likewise. Instructions were to use in the am and pm - however, with so little of the elixir my supply only lasted about 8 days. [I will purchase more]. The product feels like luxury, its absorption is immediate and there is never any residue. Throughout the days I used Visible Repair my facial skin felt wonderfully soft and healthy. Once I realised the product would not last the recommended 3-4 weeks I did not waste it on neck and decolletage, preferring to enjoy what I had to the maximum.

I would say that this is the best product I have ever used. It definitely does what it says it will do, easy to use, and to get the small amount that you need. Cannot rate this highly enough, it smells gorgeous and there was no waste in the packaging. Because you do not need much it will last for a long time, will definitely buy again.

The elixir comes in a small dropper bottle and has a terrific smell. I used two drops after cleansing my skin day and night before my moisturiser. Its a really thin oil that spreads well over the face but absorbs very quickly so I didn't look like I had an oil slick on my face. The dewiness still came through after applying moisturiser too which is very complimentary as skin reflected light and wrinkles and fine lines appeared smaller. Helped skin feel very hydrated.

Haven't seen any major changes but certainly the fine lines appear diminished.

First off, I love serums, elixirs, gels, and drops so this was right up my alley! I really like the packaging, it looked like a quality product and was a good size. The dropper is easy to iss and is very easy to get out the desired amount however the product itself was much thinner and watery than I was expecting. It felt nice on the skin, didn't irritate and madey skin feel very hydrated. It did not take long to settle into the skin and has quickly becoming my nightly routine. I have not noticed any specific improvement to the overall texture but does feel lovely using such a hydrating product.

I have used some essano products before so I was excited to try this one. My skin has changed as I have got older. I’m now 58 and my skin is definitely drier and has both some fine and deeper wrinkles.

The product is packaged in a box which contains a small bottle with a dropper attached to the lid for ease of use.

I used this product as directed: day and night after cleansing and before applying my moisturiser.

First thing I noticed was the fragrance from the product. It wasn’t overpowering which was good as that would have put me off but there was definitely a gentle pleasant fragrance which I loved.

This product is not as oily as I thought it would be. It was more of a watery consistency. I applied it to my face after cleansing and before my moisturiser.

It absorbed fast which was good as I didn’t need to wait around before applying my moisturiser.

I noticed instantly how it brightened the look of my skin giving it a healthy glow.

After the first application my skin definitely felt softer to touch in the morning. I continued to use as directed but felt concerned that maybe i would have a breakout. I needn’t have worried as my skin actually felt better than it has done in years.

I have now been using this for a few weeks.

Result My skin texture has improved and is noticeable, so much so that I have actually had a few comments from friends. I love the glow that it gives my skin.

My skin definitely appears plumper which I do feel makes my fine wrinkles seem a bit less noticeable but not majorly.

I will however continue to use this product because of the other changes I have noticed and felt on my skin.

Lately Essano has really stepped up what was already a pretty good game. I like their products, though haven't always been keen on the rosehip scent. In any case, I was excited to try this product.

It comes in a gorgeous bronze box that immediately looks like a luxury product. The dropper bottle inside has the same design and looks really lovely. The top unscrews and the product is dispensed through the dropper.

The first thing I noticed about the product was the scent - mmm delicious, though I can't identify it. I can smell it when it's on my skin and I love it. The product itself is a clear light oil, that is very soft and absorbs very quickly into my skin, leaving a soft hydrated feel.

So far I have been using it around 3 weeks and have almost none left. I tend to be a bit heavy-handed with serums and oils though. My skin is looking hydrated and feels soft and healthy, but I'm not sure I can claim that it has increased skin elasticity or firmness nor reduced the depth and degree of wrinkles so far, which are the product claims. I am happy with my skin so far though, as it does look brighter and appears more energised and glowing, as it also claims it will.

Overall a lovely product, and while I can't say it did everything it said it would do, I would certainly use it again and give it a longer time to achieve what it sets out to achieve. I would wear the scent as an actual scent! I do recommend trying it.

My trial product arrived and I read the instructions and claims listed on the packaging. “Decreases wrinkle depth within 4 weeks”. “Increases skin elasticity and firmness within 4 weeks”. As this product is formulated for mature skin, I was eager to start my trial and see if I experienced results as claimed on the packaging. The application of this product added an extra layer to my morning and evening moisturising regime, but I didn’t mind if I was going to see the results as claimed. Looking after my skin is important to me. I did have some reservations about applying the oil to my skin, but I was pleasantly surprised when I applied it how well it absorbed into my skin. The dropper made for easy application and getting the right amount to apply. I wasn’t a fan of the fragrance, it was sweet and stronger than I would prefer, but this was just a very personal perspective and didn’t deter my use of the elixir. After using the elixir religiously for a few weeks, I was finding my skin to be smoother and feeling firmer, especially around my neck area, and also around my eyes. Some lines on my forehead appeared less prominent. I was pleased with the results. So I guess the question is....would I continue to use this product and in fact buy it? I am pleased to say that yes I would. I would prefer a slightly less fragrant elixir, but I do think this is a good product, and worth adding to your skincare routine.

It comes in the standard dropper bottle format, easy to squeeze up the product and decant it.

It has quite a powerful scent, quite herbaceous so it's not hideous, but if you're sensitive to scents it might be a bugbear.

I've been using this for twice a day for about 3 weeks, and it's really lovely. A treat for the skin in the morning or the night. I have about half of the bottle left so it's lasting nicely.

I love that this is a natural alternative to retinol, which can be quite irritating. I find I can't use retinol daily or for more than a few weeks without a break. With this I experienced no irritation, and I think I could continue use permanently without the need for breaks.

If you want effective skincare that's nice to use and natural then give this a go. You won't regret it.
