Ok so this is the first facial elixir I have tried - I generally rate Essano products so was excited to try this.
I turned 50 in Dec and my skin is definitely needing some help - it's dry and the wrinkles are getting harder to combat! I also have some spots and can see a bit of sag in areas too.
The packaging on this product is nice, I do like the colours - it's in a glass bottle which is great and has a dropper for applying. One thing I found is that the product is pretty runny (as it's like an oil) and you need to be careful when you take the dropper out as it can spill easily. I dropped around 5 drops into the palm of my hand and then rubbed my hands together and applied to my face, neck and decolletage that way. I LOVED the smell of this elixir it's really lovely, even my 9 year old daughter asked me what I had put on my skin the first time :)
I regards to how long it will last me, I think I went a bit overboard when I first started using it and used probably more than I needed lol, so after around 2-3 weeks I only have about quarter of the bottle left. You really need around 5 drops I reckon for a decent coverage for all areas, although the bottle says 3, I used more as I felt it didn't give enough coverage.
Price wise, it seems to vary depending on where you want to purchase from, I found it at New World for $30.99 for a 20ml bottle, which seems like a fair price.
So after using the product for around 3 weeks I do see a difference in my skin - it does seem smoother and looks a bit "nicer" without makeup. I can see a small difference to my wrinkles as promised but I do think that with continued use it will improve more. I would be interested in using the Night Cream and Eye Cream at the same time as this elixir to give an even better boost.
I would purchase this product again and continue to use it :)
I'm a huge essano fan - I think they've built up to being a really reputable brand, and a great challenger for the big global brands.
I love that it's natural and I love that it's powerful too!
I really like the packaging, the branding is clear and the gold colour choice is a classy touch.
The product is a lightweight serum that isn't greasy after use. Moisturizer sits nicely on top of it, as does makeup.
I think this is a wonderful serum to add to any anti-aging routine. I don't think it's going to target very specific concerns for example deep wrinkles, but it does boost the skin's overall appearance and it is a wonderful hydrator.
So to answer my title question...yes essano can do no wrong!
