This facial elixer is a lovely light oil based tonic for your face. It smells absolutely devine and is a dream to smooth on to your skin. It leaves it feeling silky smooth and nourished. I was only using in the evenings after cleansing and toning and after 3 weeks my skin seems at its best. Not sure whether my wrinkle depth has decreased or not but my skin is definately glowing and feeling smoother. I seem to have had less than normal outbreaks/blackheads while using this product. I love that it is made in NZ and cruelty free also. I even had a friend ask me what facial products I use after using this elixer for a few weeks. Such a compliment that I haven't had in years. I will definately be purchasing this in the future as it really is a lovely elixer. And did I mention the fragrance?? Absolutely gorgeous smell!! Apart from Vit C, I hadn't heard of lapagyl or bacuchiol but this combination definately works for my mature skin. Love, love, love this product!! Try it, you won't be disappointed!

Tips: I used 4-5 drops in the evening while my face was still damp from cleansing and toning before putting on a nourishing night cream. You don't need more than 4-5 drops as it glides on so easily.
Has a really nice smell like lavender. First thing I noticed is the black squeezy bit was very sensitive...it sucks up a lot of the elixir quickly. So I had to ensure under 1/4 was in the dropper each time I used it. Every time i applied to my forehead it quickly dripped down so when using, make sure u put to the side of your forehead OR middle/nose line. Felt really nice on and i would follow up with a day cream.
One problem I did encounter was my eyes were quite sensitive even though i didn't apply around my eyes or too close to them. My eyes at times would kind of water up, but didn't last long. I wondered if it was more to do with perfurme smell/ingredient (fumes?).
Within the first week the gold decoration that sits on around the dropper section came off. So it wasn't so pretty.
Did it work? I'm not 100% convinced. My wrinkles are very fine lines anyway and only show when i smile. Comparing today I don't see much difference but i would definitely continue using for another 2 weeks to give a better review. But was my skin soft? Hell yeah!! Felt really nice and lovely on my neck/upper chest areas. Applying day or night cream after, they glided on without a problem and didn't look heavy on my skin...followed by foundation some days.
PROS: Smells nice. A little goes a long way. Skin feels very soft CONS: Eyes were a bit sensitive for a few seconds after applying (would water up slightly) from perhaps the smell/fume. The pretty gold decoration bit came off leaving soft glue on the dropper/handle. With the eye sensitivity I at times avoided using in the morning if i had to go into work. But really it absorbs into the skin quickly. Other times i didn't have a problem beyond the initial watery eyes.
PLAN: I will continue using this. Ive got over 1/2 bottle left so will give some more time and pair with the official night cream. I have tried other brand serums and elixirs that have similar benefits and so far this is the best one.
Tips: Be very sensitive with using the dropper. The squeezy bit picks up a lot and you will need LESS than 1/4 the dropper amount.
When applying to the forehead do in middle or to the outer sides as it will run down your face into your eyes. Thankfully my eyebrows stopped it going further
I loved testing this product and enjoyed seeing some positive results. The elixir was easy to use and absorbed quickly, My skin condition looks more rested and even. Wrinkles to the side of my eyes aren't as deep and the skin looks smoother.
Tips: Watch that you don't get too much of the elixir onto your face as the dropper contains a lot of liquid and it runs off down the face very quickly!
I’m always a little bit sceptical about claims beauty products make but Essano Visible Repair Facial Elixir lives up to those claims. It comes in a beautiful bottle with a dropper and you really do only need a few drops - I did get a bit carried away as it smells divine and is so light on your skin. I have ‘mature’ skin which is prone to being dry and blotchy. Within two weeks I had noticed a definite improvement in texture and in the blotchiness - it was much less noticeable. I have already ordered another bottle and highly recommend it. There are other gems in this release and I am really looking forward to trying these as well! Absolutely recommend this elixir, particularly if you have problem skin.
Tips: You really do only need a few drops. Using twice a day speeds up the improvement to your skin. If you have sensitive eyes you might want to avoid the eye area but Essano have also produced an eye cream to compliment the elixir and I can’t wait to try it!
I was given the opportunity to review the new Essano Visible Repair Facial Elixir. I was curious to find out more about what an elixir does and according to Google 'Elixirs are generally thinner than serums but usually contain a blend of oils and botanical ingredients to help hydrate and nourish skin'. This was quite spot on considering my experience with the Essano Visible Repair Facial Elixir. The first thing I noticed was the lovely smell - this product smells absolutely beautiful. The serum is light and clear and absorbs instantly. It doesn't feel heavy like an oil, but it is very nourishing and makes my skin feel silky. I use it after cleansing and before moisturising. It feels like an extra layer of nourishment that enhances the moisture levels of my skin. I didn't suffer any breakouts or irritation - I have experienced breakouts with skin oils in the past, so this was a concern of mine. I think this is very good value for money and I will purchase this once my bottle runs out. Lovely product - highly recommended.
Tips: This also works very well on the hands. I don't like heavy hand creams and a few drops of Essano visible Repair Facial Elixir smooth out the skin on the back of my hands without feeling heavy or sticky.
The Essano Visible Repair might be small in size, but it is big in effect.
The beautiful bottle contains only 20ml of Elixir, but after three weeks of using this morning and night, I still have almost half a bottle left. The Elixir smells amazing - beautifully floral without being too sweet.
After the first few uses, I broke out in acne along the jawline and considered discontinuing use. However, I decided to continue using this on all areas except the chin and had no further issues.
The product claims to decrease wrinkle depth within 4 weeks and increase skin elasticity & firmness within 2 weeks. I have used this product for three weeks. I took a photo of my wrinkles at the start, and again at three weeks. There has not yet been any noticeable reduction in the depth of my wrinkles. However, there has definitely been a change to my skin - it feels so much more supple and soft. This is such a promising start and I am very keen to continue using the Essano Visible Repair Elixir to see if it really can reduce those wrinkles. Even if it can't, I'm going to use it to maintain the soft-as-a-baby's-bottom feel.
Tips: This has an oily texture - avoid any areas that might be prone to acne.
For its price point this is a great product. A little goes a long way, it is quite thin so does tend to run from the dropper. It is very easy to apply and is easily absorbed. Very little fragrance so pleasant to use. It has made a difference to my wrinkles and would repurchase.
Tips: A little goes a long way. Can feel slightly oily on application but once absorbed skin feels softer.
This serum comes with a dropper and I found it quite runny, it dripped down your face as you are trying to put it on. It smells ok, I do like strong smelling products but it wasn't offensive. I did find that it was quite oily and didn't absorb into my skin, so it made it hard to apply makeup over the top of it. Even leaving it for 5 or so minutes it still hadn't absorbed properly. For this reason I wouldn't use it again. I also did not find ant reduction in my wrinkles after 2 weeks but that's probably not enough time to let it work. It wasn't my favorite product and I wouldn't purchase it for myself.
Tips: Don't use too much, it's hard to get the right amount of product with the dropper.
I have tried this product. I found it different to other serums I had tried. This did not leave an oily residue on your face. It felt velvety to put on and went into the skin virtually straight away. I didn't leave me with a sticky face as some serums do.
Despite the 3 star rating, I really liked this serum. It smells amazing (reminds me of a perfume that was super popular in the 80s but I just can't put my finger on the name!) and is lovely and lightweight on the skin. Due to this, it sinks in very quickly which means that when using it in the morning, I don't have to wait before applying my day cream. My skin is on the dry side (and I'm 51) so it seemed to just disappear into it (I count this as a plus, but I guess it could also be a minus, depending on which way you choose to look at it?). I hate how some serums are greasy and just seem to sit on top of the skin - I didn't have that issue with this one. Despite the fact that it seemed to disappear into my skin, it left it with a lovely glow. The issue I have is that, despite all of this positive stuff, it really didn't do what it claimed. I loved the smell, the feel and the fact that you only need to use a few drops to get good coverage (meaning the bottle lasts a good while so the value for money is good), my wrinkles didn't appear to noticeably diminish. It may be doing good stuff beneath the surface however, so I'm going to finish the bottle and then re-evaluate. I had a nasty flu halfway through this 4 week trial, so my skin really took a dive and ended up super dry so maybe it was just that it had to work harder to get the job done - I don't know. But since I didn't have any negative feelings towards it and it feels really nice, I'm going to give it the benefit of the doubt and keep using it. I don't feel I've got anything to lose at this stage. Did I mention the smell? Ah-mazing, especially right before bedtime. It feels like I'm definitely pampering myself by using this! I'm just not sure if it's doing what it claims but it's worth exploring more. I'd also like to try using the recommended creams after applying the serum to see if that bumps up it's effectiveness.
Tips: You only need 4-6 drops to cover the whole face, neck and decolletage area - a little really does go a long way with this lightweight, non-greasy serum!
