Essence Get BIG! Lashes Volume Curl Mascara Review

I love Essence! However this mascara I found to be quiet hard to apply mascara. It's large brush is great! They product itself, came onto me quiet clumpy. Looks great on a night out, but not for a all day/ work look.

Me being a Flight Attendant, I just found that this product clumped in the wrong places and smudged everywhere. Was disappointed I couldn't use it for work. Might need to try the other mascara's next time.

Purchased this in my birthday haul last year. The Essence brand is really affordable and cruelty free. I have purchased a few items now because of this and intend to continue to do so in the future.

This is the second mascara that I have used from the brand. Watermelon coloured packaging, was particularly drawn to this one as it is supposed to curl and lift lashes. I have learnt within the last month how to actually use curl type mascaras so I feel this aided the application process. The brush is tapered at the end with thicker bristles towards the outside. I have found that this particular brush style is very suitable for my eye shape. I hardly ever have inner eye smudging while using this compared to other mascara wand types.

It does dry down very fast so you if like to do multiple applications you will want to be fast. Except for the dry down, it looks very nice with 2 coats, lashes are curled, there is volume. I use this everyday for my work make up and for the price as well I really can't complain.

I like this a lot more now after having used it for the last month compared to when I first started using it. I would repurchase again in future.

For the price, this mascara is amazing! No need to apply multiple times for volume. I use this daily and its so light you can't even tell you have mascara on if you apply it right.

I went through an Essence splurge a while ago and this was one of the products I picked up. It was around $5.80 from Farmers, they had a selection of different mascaras but this one stuck out the most.

It has a curved brush and the formula is quite thick, the tip of the brush makes it great for getting into the inner corners of the lashes while the whole brush is easy to get to the roots of the lashes.

I like to start with the top lashes adding 1 coat from the root of the lashes then concentrating on the inner lashes, I normally go from my right eye to the left and while the first coat is drying I follow in with the bottom lashes. If I don't allow time for it to dry in between coats the mascara isn't at its fullest potential. I do approximately 3 coats all together.

Over time (a few months later) the mascara does get more thick and too much sticks to the wand so I wipe as much as I can to the inside of the tube before applying.

It creates full lashes with a lot of volume. My favorite thing about this mascara is it lasts all day and removing this is a breeze. It doesn't give me panda eyes in the morning which is a plus.

I am happy with this mascara and will continue to use this, 5/5 for me.
