Essence Lash Princess Sculpted Volume Mascara Review

Everyone recommended this mascara when I was on the hunt for a new one - and I must say I was pleasantly surprised! It’s about $7.00 for one and it lasts long. I didn’t use a primer for the first few weeks when I got this mascara and found it to transfer onto my skin. Throughout the day it lasted well and didn’t give me panda eyes (initially). However, after about two months, it started giving me panda eyes and I had to start using a lash primer first. I have received many compliments whilst using this mascara and my lashes are noticeably longer and fuller when using this one. It is definitely worth a try with that price tag.

I saw an article on BR (or maybe a forum post?) about this product which was really positive. I purchased it for such a good price from Farmers as a result.

Initially it was really wet and gloopy and smudged easily. But after using it a couple of times the formula seemed to thicken and stabilise, and WOW was I impressed.

My lashes looked long, full, curled, and the darkest shade of black. Dare I say it, this beats Too Faced BTS based on having the same impact, but for a much lower price.

Heard rave reviews about essences lash princess mascaras, and found them at farmers for $7?ish and thought I'd give it a go. I have a love hate relationship with this mascara. It lengthens my lashes like crazy, but I've had this over a month now, and the formula is very wet, and I find there is alot of product on the wand which ends up in clumps on my lashes. I had the same experience with Maybelline lash sensational but after a few uses it dried out Abit and worked amazingly, but the lash princess still feels very wet and clumpy. I've never had an issue with mascaras transferring and smudging on my eyelids before but I do with this mascara. I have to powder my eyelids like crazy and still find myself wiping smudges off during the day. To get rid of clumps, I have to take a spoolie through my lashes. It's cheap, it lengthens very well but I still find I have to put alot of effort into making this "work".

I bought this on a whim. Happened to be in Farmers and saw it, thought it had good packaging, and for the price- why not?! Pros: - This is a nice formula, gives good additional length to my already pretty long lashes, and stays put unless I rub my eyes, in which case, it flakes, rather than panda-s. - The packaging is eye catching and pretty, it doesn't feel expensive, but then, it isn't! - The wand separates the lashes pretty well, and it does do a good second coat without clumping which is my usual problem. Cons: - It's not the best for the lower lashes due to the width of the wand at the base of the curve- I find it transfers really easily to my under which I fins super frustrating. - It does flake after long wear, regardless of if you catch it with your hands or not, but that's after maybe 10 hours, so would be fine for a night out.

Overall, I'm a fan of this mascara, it gives me a pretty doll-eyed look which I like for a night out, but it's a little much for every day! For the price you pay, I honestly don't think you can beat it.

This is such a fantastic dupe for Too Faced Better Than Sex and it is ridiculously cheap! This is fantastic, the colour is a dark black, I get full long looking lashes with lots of volume and there is little to no fall out even where my bottom lashes touch my skin!

After watching many a beauty guru rave about this mascara on the 'Tube I picked it up whilst I was in hardcore budget mode, hoping it would be a replacement for my beloved Hourglass Caution mascara (get the mini.. the mini is everything). Alas, underwhelmed didn't begin to cover my feelings towards this 'must have'.

First up - packaging. I like it. It's cute. Feels solid. Alas, sometimes the package is pretty and the inside is... pretty ugly.

The wand is ridiculously curved and I struggled to get it to work my eye shape or lash style. The mascara is very black and very wet. It did a strange clumpy thing while making my eyelashes look like spider legs. There was no beautiful fanning while volumising like I get with my beloved Hourglass.

Did it transfer? After five hours I looked like I'd taken a nap with my face smushed into my pillow.

I gave this a fair go and left a month or so inbetween the fourth and five uses. While I found it better once it dried out a bit, it still wasn't anything worth fluttering my eyelashes at.

Sorry beauty gurus - but I'm wondering how much y'all got paid to rave about this, because I don't believe the hype.

I purchased this mascara in a rush but I’m so glad I did! I didn’t hold high hopes considering how cheap it was but I was wrong. I have pretty short eye lashes but using this it made them look so much thicker and longer without looking clumped and spider-like. After a week of use it became a bit thicker and just improved even more. I would definitely recommend buying this mascara (if you can find it).

I just bought this and was pleasantly surprised. New mascaras are usually a bit clumpy till they have been used a bit, but this one goes on really nicely. It separates the lashes and gives them volume without looking clumpy. The colour is a nice dark black. Does not smudge during the day. Really easy to wash off too. I really like this mascara.

I got recommended this by a friend when I was looking for a new mascara and I bought this because of the price price point- it very affordable I think maybe $7 from farmers? The mascara makes my lashes look okay but they clumped together and I found the product constantly flaking off and dropping below my eye , i know other people really enjoy this product but it’s not for me.
