Definitely a two layer polish - but such a great colour when layered up! A little bit shimmery so can be worn with any blue green combo. A classic.

I've been a user of essie forever it seems like! I love all the colors, and the sleek, shiny look that it has when it is painted on. My main dislike with essie is that it chips very easily. Many nail polishes do, however I wasn't expecting that with essie saying that it is a high end brand, and more expensive than the average nail polish. It's a love, and hate relationship that I have with essie.
Tips: If you don't mind painting your nails every 2 days, then go for it. Put lots of clear on top, so that it lasts at least a few days!
I use Essie nail polishes in my salon and this colour always catches my clients eyes. It is a deep, shimmery bold blue. Beautiful on toes and for the more daring - on fingers too!
Tips: Always use a base coat, apply two coats of colour and finish with a fast drying top coat.
Essie is not the big brand name like others but I would happily buy it. They have a great range of colours they are ling lasting, and not prone to chipping like other brands, cute little bottles. I have been very happy with my essie colours
Tips: always base, two colour coats and top!
Aruba Blue is the most used polish in my essie collection. I remember being so excited when it arrived in the mail!
I find the colour is a perfect match to the bottle, perfect shine and very smooth. The brush is thin and quite white so I found application a lot easier. It dries really quick too, no smudges or dents.
It noticed small chips about the 4th day and that was after I had been cleaning using cleaning sprays.
Tips: Use a base and top coat for protection and longer lasting wear.
I now have 3 essie nail polishes and love them all but this is definitely a favourite. The lovely pink tone of this colour gives your nails a natural and clean look. Essie nail polish also glides on with such ease and prevents streakyness making it so easy to apply. I LOVE the glossy and sheer finish you get from this polish!
I love the Essie polishes. This colour reminds me of the colour go overboard which I love, it's good on dark skin and light skin which is fantastic. I wish they weren't so expensive though because the bottles are small.
I have a few colours in the Essie brand and for a cheaper nail polish it stays on well. This colour in particular i find goes with everything because it is so neutral.
Tips: two coats makes it darker and stays on longer
Essie hasn't been my favourite polish but have done something and they are so much better. The brush is thicker with allows smoother and easier application. They' are creamer and the polish is mostly a two coater. This colour is so pretty. With more mature hands it is hard for me to carry off blue without making my hands looking old but his colour is so pretty it's easy to wear.
I was so excited to be given the chance to trial this, thanks BR!
The colour in the bottle is a dense grey, but after it's on your nails and has dried it comes to life. The undertones of green are most visible in natural light, indoors this is a dignified, deep colour.
It only takes 2 coats and lasted 3 days before showing wear and tear. As a hairdresser this is good going!
It was a wee bit harder to remove than my OPIs but this is probably due to the dark colour.
Overall - me likey, a lot! Thanks BR xx
Tips: 2 coats will leave an opaque finish with shine.
Perfect for non-girly girls who still want beautiful nails!
