Estee Lauder Beautiful Review

Estee Lauder has produced some of my favourite classics and Beautiful is one of these. The packaging is soft, feminine and simple. The spray is light and does not spray out loads of fragrance but a small amount each time. I tend to opt for the soft romatic woody fragrances and this is one too. After the initial application it evelopes you in a warm and inviting fragrance which lingers. It is what I would describe as a soft, clean smell and it is perfectly suited for day time wear. One of those that I will go back to from time to time.

I have found this is one of only two perfumes I use after trying many. This is a light flowery perfume and at Christmas time I love the extra items that appear. I've had a body wash that made my shower smell absolutely delicious and helped with layering as has the body lotion. A small bottle is perfect for in the handbag for topping up even though the perfume does linger for a good while.

The product is an Eau de Parfum and comes in a classic but simple spray bottle. I have used it over several years and it was also a favourite of my mother’s. It has a very sweet and sophisticated fragrance and makes me feel very feminine when I wear it. It is described by the manufacturer as romantic, tender, memorable and this describes it very well. It surprises me how much I love this fragrance as I don’t usually like anything too floral and actively dislike anything very floral-ly.It lasts very well on the skin and is a fragrance I would normally use in the evening rather than daytime as it feels more suited to a relaxed and romantic time of the day. At $75.00 for a 15ml bottle I feel it is good value for an EDP when compared to similar products.

Beautiful is not my favorite from Estee lauder, I have bought all of this House's perfumes at one stage or another. I would buy 'Knowing' as opposed to 'Beautiful' - 'Knowing' has a stronger, more potent strength. However, whenever I wear this women stop to ask me what perfume I am wearing. Men turn thier heads in my direction everytime I wear this. Not on the cheap side of prices but then this is a long lasting scent. As this is a strong scent, worn alone - without layering is best for office wear. Stunning scent from Estee Lauder. Try the 'Knowing' if you have not done so yet.

I have been wearing this fragrance for the last 15 years and it is my all time favourite. A beautiful bouquet of smells from the first spray to the end notes. I have had so many comments from people about how wonderful I smell and have also had a few males tell me that this is how they know I'm around because they can smell my perfume. I know perfume smells different on different people but this is a wonderful delicate long lasting perfume which by the way lasts for at least 8 hours (longer if you layer the smells eg shower gel, body lotion then spray)

I got this perfume as a gift to wear on my wedding day, not surprising because this perfume has been marked as the ultimate bridal scent. I only found out about bridal meaning on my wedding day. So it has lots of memories, lots of love and loves of fun attached it to for me. I dont about you, but I love a perfume that renders wonderful memories for me, that way when I look at I smile and will wear these perfumes that are and were moment appropriate. Yes I know, I'm a huge marshmallow and very sentimental but thats just me!

The moments I love to wear this perfume are special, like an anniversary dinner, a cocktail party event etc. Its never just for the sake of wearing a perfume.

The fragrance is strong in floral notes and to me resembles a close comparison to Red Door. It has top notes that comprise of mandarin and some rose which I quite like in a perfume. I dont really like stand alone fresh, floral, fruity flavours but much prefer a subtle mixture of these tones.

Only a few sprays and this perfumes is on its way to last you the entire day and definitely lots of compliments waiting for you. I do however prefer to wear this perfume at night as a find the mandarin and rose can abit a strong for an everyday casual perfume. This perfume definitely needs a fancy dress, some killer stilettos and a designer handbag :) I tend to lean to fresher, cleaner smells for everyday, daytime, casual wear but thats just me and my preference.

I own the 75ml bottle and have used it a host of times and I havent even made a dent in the perfume so its definitely a worthy investment. This will always be in my perfume collection!
