Doublewear in Bone is always a classic medium to full coverage foundation for me however it is pricey and I have found similar quality foundations for much cheaper with slightly better color matches hence why I have strayed from this product.

I've used this for about 3 years now, and it is good, it has staying power mostly and luckily for me it is the perfect match for my skin tone. It is light and not greasy however in our lovely Auckland humid weather it doesn't hold up to its claim of staying "fresh", kind of slides off my face! It is quite up there on the price scale but having said that, it lasts me about 6 months and that's using it every day so maybe not too bad after all.
I popped into Life Pharmacy to get myself some new skin care and ended up buying from Estee Lauder. I have heard a lot of good things about this foundation so I decided to ask for a sample. WOW. I'm so impressed! A little goes a long way and I'm a full coverage kinda girl. Definately purchasing a full size next time I'm at the mall!
Tips: I still used a powder over top!
Absolutely love this foundation. I have teo favorites and this is one of them its very hard to pick between them.
Tips: Use sparingly.
Easy to apply, long lasting, full coverage, natural looking, but you have to work fast otherwise you cant move the formula once it set.
I don't wear foundation every day, but when I do use it, it needs to stay in place. I used this foundation on my wedding day, and it was fantastic. It stayed in place, it didn't feel too heavy and it looked natural in all the photos. A total win from my perspective.
When I wear this for more casual occasions, I tend to use a fair bit less of it, but it still stays in place. I have never felt like I was wearing too much make up while I had it on, and it matches my very pale skin nicely.
I can't really compare prices since I don't buy foundation enough to know what the 'going rate' is.
I have a love hate relationship with this foundation. Been using it for about 3 months pretty much daily and have been trying to find what the hype is all about. First off, boy is it pricey! But guess being EL thats kind of expected. Have found it to be too cakey when applied with a brush (tried RT expert face brush) so i use my fingers for a less 'full makeup' look. Have found that it oxidises and by about 3pm it doesnt look as 'fresh'. Tends to slip off my nose very easily, especially if i sweat slightly, just turns it into a cakey mess. Broke me out (i havent had pimples in years!) even after washing my face with a makeup removing cleanser twice in the evenings. I guess the only good thing is its an ok colour match (pale almond). I dont think i will repurchase again.
Tips: Use fingers for a 'lighter' coverage. Also, wouldnt say it us 'buildable' at all.
This product does give full coverage and feel light on the skin. Have to work very fast when applying because it dries onto the skin in minutes and cannot be budged. It really does stick to wherever you have placed it which allows it to stay on all day but is hard when trying to achieve flawless coverage.
Tips: Use a damp beauty blender
I have been using this for about 7 years I think and it is my favourite, favourite , favourite foundation ever. It is the only foundation I have found that doesn't melt off or move during the day. It is perfect for my oily skin. I always get asked what foundation I use. It is a good coverage foundation and you need to work quickly to blend it in. I find it best to use your fingertips to apply rather than a brush , as your fingers warm it up making it easier to blend. Nothing compares to this foundation!
I quite liked this foundation however-Im not sure its worth its price. Before it I had a loreal foundation which was just as good and half it price!
