I've used this for about 3 years now, and it is good, it has staying power mostly and luckily for me it is the perfect match for my skin tone. It is light and not greasy however in our lovely Auckland humid weather it doesn't hold up to its claim of staying "fresh", kind of slides off my face! It is quite up there on the price scale but having said that, it lasts me about 6 months and that's using it every day so maybe not too bad after all.

This product does give full coverage and feel light on the skin. Have to work very fast when applying because it dries onto the skin in minutes and cannot be budged. It really does stick to wherever you have placed it which allows it to stay on all day but is hard when trying to achieve flawless coverage.
Tips: Use a damp beauty blender
My 2nd favourite foundation, i love the coverage & how a little goes a long way, the downfall i have is when i reapply it later during the day you can see the colors dont match up leaving my skin looking patchy (unlike mac pro long), other than that if i dont need to reapply after a busy day it is great
Tips: Some estee lauder stores will match your skin and give you a free sample to take away with you which is great!
I bought this foundation for its reputation as a long-wearing product. I work a 10+ hour day, and I was finding that by the end of the day my foundation would often become patchy. Doublewear was my solution to this problem and I found that it kept shine and oiliness at bay which is great. I'm still trying to figure out the best way to apply it though - I've been using a stippling brush but it doesn't go on very smoothly. This foundation is also quite expensive, but I think for the staying power it's worth it.
Tips: If you are normally NC20 in MAC foundations, try the shade 1N2 Ecru in Doublewear.
This is a pricey foundation but if you're after something that Will. Not. Budge.and are willing to spend a little extra (and I think it's worth it) then this could be for you.
I haven't scored this as high as it probably deserves because for me and my combination extremely dry/pimply skin it was a tad too greasy.
It's definitely not a product I would use as my everyday foundation for my trips to playgroup and the supermarket. For a big event or (admittedly rare) night out however, it's ideal.
It does not lie, it will stay in place. In this day and age keeping your word in the world of marketing is not something to be sniffed at.
Tips: If you're going to use a high end product, especially foundation, it's vital you spend a little on the right tools and preparation to maximise the performance. This means invest in a good primer and a decent foundation brush or sponge. Slapping this over your cheap mousturiser with your bare fingers is just disrespectful.
Great cover and stays on. Not what I use for an everyday foundation but great for special occasions and nights out.
I love the coverage of this foundation, and that it dries nicely and doesn't rub off much. Still haven't found the right shade (not olive enough) even though there are lots of shades! I usually prefer foundations that are lighter in texture but this works well. Definitely expensive though, but should last a while since you don't use much to cover your face.
Tips: I think using my fingers works as well as brushes!
This was given to me as a gift from two of my Aunties. I was quite excited to try this as it is an expensive foundation but I hate to say it, I think I have found a better one than this... The one thing I can remember about this foundation is that I wasnt too fond of the feeling it had on the skin throughtout the day. However it did give me full coverage, lasted all day and it does have more of a yellow undertone which I liked as it did help cover my redness due to my problematic skin. But for those of you who have more of a cooltone vampy pale skin, it may not suit as it may give you a mask affect if not blended properley. I would like to give this foundation another go as my techniques with make up have gotten better since I used this foundation last and I do remember enjoying it, It was just the feeling it left on my skin I didnt like but wether or not that was a technique error of mine or the product itself Im not too sure? I believe that expensive foundations are worth the money so it may have just been me not knowing how to use it properley ;)
Tips: I would love to see how this foundation goes with a beauty blender or one of the dupes. If any of you know please comment below :) x
I love this foundation, my skin has acne scarring and redness and the foundation covers it all up!
The staying power is fantastic, if I was to wear it out clubbing, parties etc it would never let me down! Makes your skin look flawless and youthful!
BUT!!... The colour range isn't the best, I have fair skin and I got the shade in sand beige, the lady who tried it on me said it was my shade, but I had a make up line and my neck was white, I was not impressed!! I find there foundations more orange toned..
Overall this is a great foundation except for the colour range :)
Tips: Apply quickly with foundation brush as it tends to dry fast :)
I found this make up was flawless. When I wore this foundation my skin looked amazing. I found this make up clogged my pores when I first started to wear it though. I started to break out because the formula is thick and it heavy duty so it won't smudge when you sweat or on runny day! It's lasted for ages too so it's definitely worth the money!
