Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation Review

I am usually a MAC addict but I am in love with this foundation! It goes on so easily with my brush, sets in a flawless manner and lasts all day, even with a hot day it doesn't slip off my skin! Being able to build up the coverage is something I love with foundations, especially when my makeup style changes from day to day. Lasts ages and well worth the price

Absolutely LOVE this product, provides amazing full coverage and does everything it says it does, lasts so well, i wear it out whenever i have a special occassion or a big night and it stays on no problem. Do no need much to get a good coverage.

I absolutely love this foundation! It covers everything beautifully and lasts like it says it does! I slept with make up in one night to see how well it lasts and woke up in the morning looking like I'm ready to head out! It's definitely hard to get off so instead of spending $$$$ on the Estée Lauder make up remover, I limit myself to using the foundation only when I go out. I try to take it off with make up wipes and lots of washing in shower. It eventually comes off :-) As mentioned in other reviews, it's true that it tends to clump in certain spots after a while. It does so on my nose so I tend to put less on there which solves part of the problem (as dont need to use much to get amazing coverage). It is pricey for a foundation, so next time I'd be looking at buying off strawberry.net instead of Farmers.

This is a fabulous foundation but you need to 'get used to it' from using another foundation. At first it feels really thick and gloopy and hard to put on, but once you've used it a few times you are fine. The trick is to work on one area at once as it sets quickly. Don't dot all over your face and go back to it like I did. You'll be trying to scrape those dots off! After I finished my deluxe size sample it was hard to go back to my normal foundation so this is on my wishlist. It has quite a good coverage so if you like a sheer makeup you might not like Doublewear. It still feels very light on though and covers any imperfection which I like about it. I love how it really does last all day with minimal if any touchups. With my normal non-long-lasting foundation I powder my t-zone at least three times during a work day as I get quite shiny.

First time I’ve purchased a long wear foundation and I love it. Its great coming home from work looking the same as in the morning, normal foundations wear off during the day. Covers red cheeks easily, so much so that I’ve had to ensure I use bronzer or blush.

I LOVE this foundation, it stays all day and looks amazing! I know the price is rather dear but its worth every penny! I love it more then my MAC foundation! a small amount of product goes a LONG way!

I very much like this foundation. The coverage is very nice, its easy to blend, easily buildable and there is a pretty good colour match for most skin tones. This can be worn alone for a long lasting look or easily blended with a illuminating serum or moisturizer for a lighter look. I think this foundation is one of the best out there and is in my top 5 of all time. You can get samples of this if you go to your local counter for a consultation and I would highly recommend doing so!

This is one of the few products thats is definitely worth the quite pricey cost. Before using this , I was a cheap cosmetic purchaser, but am a complete convert now. I suffer with very red cheeks, and this foundation not only covers the red, but stays in place all day, giving a flawless finish all day long. Easy to apply for great coverage.

I have really oily skin and this is one of the only foundations that will not budge for me all day. It does exactly what it says it will and comes any a bunch of shades to suit anyone.

This foundation gives such a beautiful finish to the skin, and such great coverage. I find its best to use a primer and to set it with powder, to ensure absolutely no movement all day. Feels lightweight on the skin, and doesnt look heavy and cakey. It's my go to foundation, and I have recommended it to everyone
