This foundation was great for covering my face, theres one positive. Even the lightest layer of this foundation looked cakey on my face and even though it did what it said, I didn't like the caked, matte finish

Tips: Add a BB cream to it to dull it down a bit and to make it a bit more dewey
Although this foundation does what it says it will, it has a very full on coverage that does cover almost everyones flaws. I find it very thick and drying on the skin. I have tried many ways to apply it, however it always just seems to look like a thick mess on my face, although i do LOVE the coverage i definitely would not recommend for a day to day foundation.
Tips: I find applying with a wet beauty blender, or fix plus sprayed buffing brush works best to minimise the thick look.
Disclaimer - I used this foundation about 2 years ago so I don't know if it is still the same. However I didn't go back to it because it was just a bit too much for my skin - as in it has fantastic coverage but it really looked like you were wearing foundation, so when I slapped this on I always had to make my eyes and lips pop to balance it out, so it's no good for a quick skin pick-me-up. But as it promised, it does have amazing staying power and a flawless finish. I continue to seek for the holy grail of foundation that makes your skin look amazing without it looking like you are wearing foundation!!
Tips: Best for a night on the town.
In all honesty, I only brought this foundation due to all of the hype around it! I'm obsessed with full coverage foundations, so the idea of that combined with a formula that claimed to last like no other sold me instantly. I got shade matched to the shade 'Ecru'. I took a sample home and tried it first, and it was way too dark for me. However, I purchased it anyway as it was a close enough match for when I was fake tanned. However when I went shopping a second time for a paler shade, I learnt pretty quickly that their shade range (at least in NZ) is terrible. Even the lightest shade was too dark for me, and I'm not exactly casper white either. The shades are quite orange/pink toned which just didn't work with my naturally yellow toned skin. However, the actual foundation itself I love. They weren't messing around with the staying power of this foundation, it's serious! I have cried, fallen asleep, and been in the rain in this foundation and it just doesn't budge. The coverage is a good 9/10 and covers all my redness without issue. It doesn't feel heavy on the skin, but it can look a bit cakey if you use too much product or don't blend it properly. I use a Sigma F82 brush to blend this foundation as it's super dense and can really buff it into my skin. Overall it's a great foundation and stays true to it's claims, I just wish the shade range were better!
Tips: Blend blend blend!
A nice and creamy, but non-heavy liquid foundation. It has a lovely smooth texture, like BB cream consistency, making it nice and spreadable.
The coverage i’ll say can be light to medium, depending how much you put on. The weightless formula of the foundation gives you an easy application, and a nice and natural look, which i like.
However, it doesn’t really work well on dry skin. Close up, you can It sitting on top of the flakes, forming dried coloured patches. It doesn’t hide the flakiness of your skin. So you do have to exfoliate your skin well if your skin is dry. It also sits in your facial creases, revealing my fine lines, which i have to smudge away using my fingers once in a while.
Another thing is that it does eventually blot off in hot, sweaty weather.
Overall... not bad in terms of staying power. Just need to use it with a good primer. Those with good skin will benefit from using this foundation.
This foundation was a definite holy grail foundation especially during my late 20s and early 30s. Gives amazing full coverage, that made my skin look flawless. Depending on your skin prep and the/ or if you use primers will depend on the finish. I paired this foundation up with the Smashbox photo finish pore minimizing primer and loved the matte finish. Definitely worth the money. Only reason why I have given it a 3/5 for would I use it again is because now I'm nearly entering my 40s, my skin has changed and so has my preference of makeup application.
PROS: - its available in over 60 shades across cool, neutral and warm undertones. - its a medium to build-able full coverage - semi matte - works well with a brush or sponge - wears well throughout the day/ night
Cons: - the packaging, love the bottle but the fact you have to purchase the pump separate is a huge thumbs down - Invest time and/ or money into your skincare and primers, this foundation does like to accentuate dry areas. So you may need to up your hydration.
Tips: Prep skin well before use, it does like to accentuate dry areas.
Perhaps my primer was wrong, I’ve been using the Mecca primer. This just went a little patchy on my skin - perhaps I’m too oily.
Lots of shades to choose from. Product has great coverage which lasts throughout the day. Very silky texture which is easy to blend.
I used this foundation for years. I stopped due to it having higher coverage than what I needed for everyday use. I’ve swapped to a lighter foundation. It would be easier to use if they put a pump on it.
I loved using this foundation as it does stay in place all day however the colours just weren't quite right for my skin so I have since switched to another brand but now I have the problem of it not staying put all the like the doublewear does
