Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation Review

So I used to be OBSESSED with matte looks and this was defintley my go to for that! Long lasting like sooooo long lasting, good for people who oiley skin aswell! Keeps them nice and matte. The coverage is perfect I would defintley say its full coverage. You do have to work quite quickly with this product as it sets quite fast so I would recommend using a brush that's good at buffing (I use jessup brushes and their perfect) would defintley recommend getting a sample before purchasing this product though :)

I have the colour ivory beige for fall & she'll beige for spring. I wasn't sure if it this would suit me so I got samples first & from first use its a winner. Apply quite effortlessly and gives you enough time to work with prior to drying/setting. A little bit goes a long way. Once this sets it isn't going any where. I use primer first Benefit Porefessional then go over with this foundation using a buffing brush it glides across my face & doesn't settle into any fine lines. I find that it has a good full coverage and that laying to build coverage isn't necessarily needed if anything building up can look cakey. I follow in with a concealer then set, followed by bronzing & highlighting a small spritz of setting spray just to soften up the powdery effect & voilah the face is set for the whole day.

What I love is cooking working and moving around doesn't effect this foundation. As long as you don't cake it on youre left looking flawless for the whole day & it doesn't move you won't necessarily need any touch ups or powering till well into the late afternoon which isn't typically the usual for me with other foundations. Shine free & full coverage with no budge what more could you need?

Year after year I keep coming back to this foundation. I was initially introduced to this product on my wedding day and I've never looked back! It goes on easily, gives amazing coverage and stays put all day! I can't rave enough about it!

Fabulous! I has taken me many,many years to stubble upon such a foundation that ticks all the boxes. It sticks and stays, it blends aaannnd it covers all freckles and blemishes. If only it was more affordable and less addictive!

I have tried a huge range of foundations and this is my all time favourite. I have Oily skin but I can also get dry patches of eczema. This has the best coverage and the best range of shades out of any foundation I have used. Super easy to apply giving a matte finish. I have used this product for almost a year and every time I try a different foundation, it goes to show just how good Double Wear really is. It lasts me all day AND night with the large majority of the foundation still remaining.

I am in love with this foundation! The only fault is that there is no pump on the foundation bottle but that can be overlooked easily. The packaging is really nice although it can be easy to accidentally pour out too much product. The scent isn't anything special, and it is such a nice consistency. I apply this with a beauty blender and it looks so flawless, I didn't get quite the same finish with a foundation brush however. I would definitely recommend this foundation, although its a good idea to get a sample beforehand just in case you don't like it, as it is a very pricey foundation.

Like the title states this is hands down the best foundation I've used thus far. I have a bit of scarring and still get the odd pimple and this full coverage covers it so well requiring me to use LESS concealer than what i would normally use with other foundations. It is a thicker consistency and oxidizes quite quickly so you need to work with it at pace. It states that it feels lightweight which to me it doesn't. But it definitely is long lasting. I've worn it to all night festivals so we are talking dancing, sweating, squashed up against people, heat, humidity and it is still just as good when the sun comes up as it was when I put it on as the sun was going down (its normally my eye makeup that fails me). The packaging is OK. Kinda cute. Frosted glass with gold. I would definitely use this again and have already recommended it to many people.

This is my holy grail foundation! The coverage is the best I've seen on a foundation and the consistency is just right. In addition there are so many shades and tones to choose from so you will be able to pick one that matches your natural skin tone almost exactly! I mix two shades: 2W2 Rattan and 3W1 Tawny to get the perfect shade. Although the price is quite high; almost $70 RRP for a standard 30ml bottle in NZ, it is definitely worth splurging on and I will continue to purchase Estee Lauder's Double Wear foundation over and over again. It keeps your face matte, which is perfect for my oily ance prone skin, and has amazing staying power.

I first got a sample of this from my local pharmacy, hoping I wouldn't fall in love with it but guess what.. I did! The smallest amount of product goes the longest way so I thought it was jusified to spend the money because the bottle would truely last. This was the first high end foundation I had ever used and after using it I find it hard to go back to my drugstore foundations and be satisfied. The coverage is amazing, gives your skin a healthy look although it's so full coverage, which sounds impossible but I was proven wrong by this foundation! It lasts amazing on my oily skin for at least 10 hours. All my products on top blend amazingly like my bronzer and contour. All in all I love love it!

I love this product, I used it as my wedding foundation. You only need a tiny bit, it covers well, the colour is great and it lasts forever. It's matte and kept my super oily skin shine free for the majority of the day.
