My initial reaction was confusion over what this product actually is.
It is described as a lotion, yet is is very watery and has the consistency of a toner. I also had to apply it to my face using a cotton pad, as I would with a toner. This is an annoying extra step, so I actually poured some into a spray bottle and have been spritzing it onto my face pre-moisturiser as a toning agent.
Once I sussed out how I wanted to use it, I was really impressed with how it achieved "radiant energy" over my face. My skin felt lifted and firm and I had a radiant finish.
However, I definitely would not describe this product as being "deeply hydrating." You couldn't use this as a solo hydrating product because it gives you such a taught skin feeling. The next step of a moisturiser is essential. Maybe it would work well if you have oily skin and want to minimise your use of heavy moisturisers? My skin is the ultimate combo of dry/oily/breakouts, though, so again this could only be used as part of a more thorough skincare regime.
In terms of preparing the skin to take on a good moisturiser, this felt really nice. It also has a subtle scent of pomegranate, and I am always happy when I feel that my skin (and body!) have been pumped up with nutrients.
My final verdict is that similar toners can be purchased for a very reasonable price at any beauty or department store. For this reason, I won't be re-purchasing.
I was selected for the trail team for this product. I must admit I am pretty bad at sticking to a proper skincare routine but this product had me wanting to apply it every morning and night. I treated the lotion as a toner as it has that liquidy consistency so I applied it using cotton pads. It definitely does as it says and is very refreshing and cooling in the skin. It absorbs into the skin fairly quickly too. It smells of very subtle pomegranate which is very pleasant. Everytime I used this my skin looked dewy and felt very smooth and clean. I am a fan of this product and would definitely splurge on it for good results.
