After my last purple shampoo ran out, I decided to take the plunge and try ethique's one. I was pleasantly surprised. The way you paint the bar onto your hair, then lather up, let it sit, then rinse is very good, but is a tad messy with spatters going all over the shower. My hair doesn't feel stripped or dry after using the shampoo, unlike the previous purple shampoo I was using. I have lightened hair (so not colour put into it), and this leaves my hair looking lovely & bright.

Tips: I bought the shower container for it, and keeping it out of the direct shower spray to preserve it & make it last!
I was really excited when Ethique released this shampoo, as I'm a big fan of their shampoos and conditioners. However, I was disappointed to find it wasn't anywhere near as strong in purple tones as other shampoos I've used.
Having said that, it's great to buy a shampoo with no plastic. 5/5 for packaging.
If you're looking to reduce brassiness, this is a good choice, but if you're going for that so-platinum-it's-purple look, this is not the one for you.
Tips: Keep it protected in the shower to make it last.
