I love Evolu products, not only because they are so natural they also always smell amazing. This hand cream is amazing, when you put it on your hands you feel it sink in stright away. It glides on your hands and leaves them feeling and looking amazing. I have noticed a real improvment around my cuticle's they are not so dry. I also love the fact that this is a New Zealand product and it is really natural. The package could do with abit more brightness, however the green makes it look fresh and gives off that natural look.

Evolu Nourishing Hand and Cuticle Cream Review
Evolu Nourishing Hand and Cuticle Cream The nourishing and healing effects of this intensive, revitalising cream are noticeable and immediate. Key ingredients include extracts of New Zealand's native harakeke, kiwifruit, carrot seed oil and pure vitamin E, which work in synergy to reduce dryness and promote natural cell rejuvenation. The cream is very effective at repairing damage to the cuticle area, and its tangible results of supple and lustrous skin are especially long-lasting. Readily absorbed and non-greasy, with a beautifully subtle, all-natural fragrance.

I got this from the pharmacy in combination with a few other Evolu products. I love it when I discover products that are NZ made and natural so it was a no-brainer. However, I found that none of the Evolu products do what they say they will. This cream is no exclusion. It feels nice to apply it and it smells really good. But aside from that, I haven't noticed any improvement on my hands. They are dry as ever, even after using this product for 3 weeks, several times daily. Not for me.
This was my first natural hand cream. I managed to get a discount on this at the pharmacy and it's a big tube so was happy until I found the formula is super light. I switched to this from Aveeno's Natural Intense Relief and my hands and nails definitely suffered within three days they went from moisturized, hydrated, soft and smooth to dry, itchy, flaky, red, tight and my cuticles were done no favors by using this. In fact, my nail growth slowed down, not something I want. I was really disappointed. It's was also sad because this was my first Evolu product and the ingredient list was good. I only would recommend this product if your hands hardly get dry because the texture of this works best as a body lotion. I definitely won't be buying this for myself or anyone.
Tips: If you did get a tube and were disappointed with it as a hand cream you can re-purpose it as a body lotion. I wouldn't recommend this for anyone with dry hands, you can get better hand creams for the price of this one or maybe even less.
As with some of the other reviewers I got this product cheap at the chemist and was excited that I was getting such a lovely looking product with natural NZ made ingredients. I love the smell and it is a lovely product when you first apply it but it absorbs very quick and doesn't leave my hands feeling moisturised for long. I've been using this for around 3 weeks and my hands are as dry as ever. Did I mention that it smells nice?
Tips: Probably best for people with "normal" skin - or else use it as a body lotion.
This hand cream smells lovely and natural, and the packaging is very pretty.
I love the natural ingredients and the fact that it is made here in New Zealand.
It feels very nice when I first apply it to my hands but unfortunately it is just not thick and nourishing enough for my dry prone hands and I need to reapply it quite quickly.
Tips: If you have very dry hands then I personally do not think this will be rich enough for you.
There are two types of hand cream: thick, heavy creams that sit on the skin to heal and protect from serious dryness; and those that are light, easily absorbed creams for keeping skin soft with everyday use. This hand cream is a perfect example of the second type. Basically the Evolu Nourishing Hand and Cuticle Cream is a light, easily absorbed, low fragrance hand cream. It won't deal with seriously dry, cracked skin and it doesn't offer any protection to hands immediately after using it. In this way, this hand cream would be good for someone who moisturises every night or that doesn't like the feel of heavy product on their skin, but for someone like me who uses hand cream on an as-needs basis, it's not heavy enough for serious protection, although it is nice to use.
I recently purchased this hand cream at my local pharmacy. I only got it because it was on special and sounded nice. I suffer from dry skin on my hands as well as a form of dermatitis. This hand cream is amazing to use the texture feels luxurious and creamy without feeling too heavy. This has improve the condition of my skin immensely and a little goes a long way meaning it is very cost effective. This is now a handbag must have for me.
I purchased this hand cream because I had an Evolu discount voucher, and super dry hands from being out on the farm all day every day. The fragrance was quite pleasant and not overpowering, and the size of the tube was quite large so this did last me a long time. I wouldn't rate this as a product for super dry hands, but is perfectly fine as something to have sitting on your desk for regular use. Probably not something I would bother repurchasing as I usually need something a bit more heavy duty.
I was given this product by my daughter in law. I love hand creams and use them regularly. This one is light and you do not need much. It absorbs easily and has a pleasant fragrance. It is not a heavy hand cream thus not so good for very dry hands. Using it frequently does keep gands feeling great. The tube is a good size and easily fits into my work bag. I find it works effectively when I put the cream in before donning my gardening gloves as the warmth helps the cream absorb deeper. When I wash my hands gate taking off the gloves my skin feels good. I am unsure if it has made a difference to my cuticles. A friend was here today and complained her hands were so dry, tried Evolu, and liked it. About an hour later I asked her if she felt the effect was long term but she said her gands were only a little better. I feel there are other more cost effective products on the market. I like that it is natural and NZ made. I wonder if Evolu could make this product heavier for drier hands.
Tips: Nice to give as a gift for someone to try.
I purchased this for three reasons, No 1. The pharmacy was selling it at a bargain price of $10. No 2. The size of the tube was decent enough and No 3. I really liked the the fact it is NZ made and all the ingredients sounded kiwi and were different to what I have ever used in a hand cream. The consistency of the cream itself is smooth. It spreads and absorbs well enough. So despite all the reasons I purchased it, I can't really say it's the best hand cream I have used in fact the hydration was quite minimal for me. It's not greasy nor does it leave a heavy residue and it hardly has a smell. I have been using it for about three weeks now on and off during the day at work where I am washing my hands on a regular basis and therefore they need nourishing and hydration. This product just didn't stay on long enough to actually do what it claims, like repairing. In my situation I probably need more of a barrier cream which this cream definitely is not nor does it claim to be. So for the size and the price it's an average hand creme and I just haven't noticed any improvement in my cuticles or skin, needless to say my skin hasn't got worse either; it just hasn't changed for the better. Not sure if I like the packaging that much but the name "Evolu", is creative. It does hang out in my hand bag but I don't think I will be purchasing it again anytime soon, but that's not to say it won't suit other skin types ( I am a little on the dry side). I experienced no adverse reactions ( which my dry skin can tend to do) so that's a little bonus in the products defence.
Tips: Give it a go I say. Some stores have testers you can try. A NZ product using NZ ingredients is worth trying and supporting.
