L'Oreal Paris ELVIVE Extraordinary Clay Shampoo Review

I have very oily hair, I typically must wash my hair everyday if not every other day at the most. By the next day my hair is greasy, oily and just doesn’t look clean. I love the colour of the bottle and the scent is very fresh and delicious. The scent reminds me of other loreal shampoos that I have tried. The texture of the shampoo is like any other shampoo. I only needed to use a small amount of the shampoo each time I washed my hair. It lathers up very well and it leaves your hair feeling very clean. My hair felt very smooth and shiny after I had rinsed out all the shampoo. I really think that it helped with my oiliness and prolonged how long I needed to wash my hair. I think I will definitely be using this shampoo again

I was lucky enough to be selected to trial this range thank you BR. I have very oily roots so was eager to see if this could make a difference. I typically have to wash my hair every second day.

It comes in a aqua colored bottle that can stand upside down. It has a lovely scent. The consistency is semi thick and white pearl like.

This shampoo is easy to lather up and rinse off. It claims to give you 72 hours of freshness and light lifted roots. It unfortunately didn't for me however used in conjunction with the Clay conditioner and clay Pre-shampoo mask (which are in separate reviews), it definitely helped. It left my hair feeling clean and light. I would recommend.

I personally always use the same brand of shampoo and Conditioner together so can not comment on Wethersfield this product would work by itself.

In the past I have used only salon hair care, I usually find that supermarket ranges leave my hair feeling stripped and tangled. Finding a shampoo that can deal with oily roots and dry ends is no easy task but here it is!!

The packaging is pleasant, a mint greeny colour with an easy to open cap. The cap is different to the conditioner so you can tell them apart which is great!

The formala is nice and thick and lathers up really well, the scent is nice and fresh, not overpowering and gender neutral.

Here is the best bit, I trialed this with and without the pre shampoo clay mask and even without the mask the shampoo did a truly awesome job!! I have oily roots and never get a good second day out of a wash... until now! My hair quite genuinely was as good the second day as the day of washing, I even managed to draw out a third day with my hair tied up!!

I used this the shampoo with the conditioner, however in all honesty I found it did nothing to prolong time between washes.

I wash and condition my hair every second day and hoped I'd be able to push it out another day but unfortunately this product wasn't for me.

I wouldn't buy this to use again unfortunately, but after reading other reviews maybe it's my hair?

I absolutely love the smell of this shampoo!!! I used this shampoo along with the other clay range and found that it helps my hair from being so oily especially at the roots. My scalp and hair felt clean and fresh and my hair smelt delicious. This is definitely a product I'd use again especially along side the whole range of clay products as I think they all work together to help illiminate oilyness. My hair had bounce and shine! Great packaging

I was pleasantly surprised with this shampoo and think that I would probably continue to buy this. I used it a number of times, a couple with the pre-shampoo mask and a couple of times without and I think it did a pretty awesome job either way! I have recently cut my hair from super long to shoulder length so I wear my hair out a lot more and because of this I find myself playing with my hair a lot more and it gets oilier faster, but with this I found that my hair didn't get as oily as fast as it has been.

I really liked the packaging for this product and thought it looked really beautiful (the whole range did).

My favorite part about this shampoo was how light it is, usually shampoos make my hair feel quite dry afterwards and I need a lot of conditioner to make my hair feel smooth again and not tangled, but I didn't get that with this product.

I really like the smell of this shampoo, it reminds me alot of a watermelon scent. The shampoo is nice and thick and lathers up well so I didn't need alot for my long hair. Also it didn't dry my hair out like I thought it would, it focused on removing the oils from my scalp and I was able to go 3 days without having to wash my hair which was amazing. I have already used it twice and am so glad I found a product that works so well in my hair. I will definitely be purchasing again!

I have very oily hair and I’ve tried other shampoo targeting oily hair and hasn’t worked. My hair usually gets oily within few hours after washing my hair, so I was excited to get chosen to try the L’oreal Paris Elvive Extraordinary Rebalancing Shampoo. It comes in a 250ml bottle and it also has a lovely scent. The shampoo is opaque white and the texture is like any other shampoo.

I first tried this after I applied the clay hair mask in the same range and followed the instructions on the bottle. I have medium length hair, so I used about $2 coin amount of shampoo. I massaged it into wet hair, covering my whole scalp and rinsed it out until the water ran clear. Often with other shampoos, I had to wash my hair twice in the shower because I could still feel the oil in my hair. With the L’oreal Paris Elvive Extraordinary Rebalancing Shampoo my hair felt very clean and oil free after one wash. I then followed it with the hair conditioner of the same range. Once my hair was dried, it stayed oil free and clean for a couple of days.

The second time I tried this without the clay hair mask just so I can see if the results would be different. I had to wash my hair twice in the shower and followed it with the hair conditioner of the same range. Once dried, my hair only remained oil free and clean for one day. I would use this again, and recommend others to give it a try if they have very oily hair.

This freshly scented shampoo is quite thick and luxurious. It lathers really well and I only needed to shampoo once to have perfectly clean, oil free hair.

When lathering I concentrated on my roots as opposed to my ends so as not to dry them out. It does say it hydrates the hair as well but I find most shampoos dry my ends out, and when I wash the shampoo out it washes down over the ends cleaning them enough for my liking.

My hair feels very light and airy after using this product - oil free for over 48 hours. I'd definitely recommend this shampoo for oily rooted people.

The clay shampoo has the same medicinal smell that the whole clay range has. Its not unpleasant, reminds of something clinical, but i must admit it is the least favourite aspect of this entire range.However getting past the smell, the works amazingly well with the clay mask and the clay conditioner. It is a pretty green/blue colour and you don't need much to lather up your hair. I use it twice each time i wash, and my roots are indeed squeaky clean, in fact they do squeak, when i have finished. It does extend the amount of time between washes, i was washing my hair daily , but can now go two days without having to do so. I like this range very much and will continue to purchase it, it is now my go to shampoo and conditioner and i'm very pleased to have been picked for this trial and to have discovered how good it is.
