Lush Mask of Magnaminty Review

I occasionally grab the small tub of this mask as I really enjoy it fresh out of a cold fridge on a warm summer day but it can be a little too powerful if used often hence why I only get a small tub.

It really manages to pull all the gunk out and if you have a spot it will be gone by the morning there is no worry there, but it can suck a little too much of the natural oil out and I find that in some areas I end up with a little dry patch that is recovered by apply a nice oil before bed but it is a caution.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PRODUCT!!! Not only does it smell so minty and fresh but it is easy to scrub on and then leave to set But the scrubby bits are not those horrible microbeads. I used it a while ago and found my skin looking clearer but then I ran out and didn't buy more, big mistake! My skin went from clear to breakouts everywhere. So I brought it again and after a week of a couple of uses my skin was finally starting to clear up again. I will be buying this again!

I fell in love with this mask the first few times I tried it, I have problems with acne scarring and pimples and this maks helped to clear my skin up! It is now my holy grail face mask and I will repurchase it many many times in the future!

The product comes in a black screw top lid tub, I love the thick greeny texture it has, definitely different, and the scent is so minty. I did first notice this product on one of my fav youtube channels so I knew I had to give a go.

The product applies onto skin smoothy and leaves skin feeling definitely fresh and tighter, Love it loads.

I was a little wary of this mask because I find so many masks I've tried make very little difference to my skin, but this wasn't the case with this mask! I keep this mask in the fridge and it feels super invigorating when I apply it to my face, especially because of the minty ingredients that cause quite a strong tingling across my face. I personally enjoy the feeling, but I can imagine that it might be a bit much for some people! I leave this mask on for 10-15 minutes or until it's dried and starts to crumble off. I remove with a hot wash cloth or rinse it off in the shower, because it is quite a thick consistency it can take a bit of effort to remove. This makes makes my skin feel so so clean, it really feels as if every spec of excess oil, dirt and product build up has been completely removed. I love this mask for when my skins just feeling a bit ugh. I feel that it brightens my complexion also. Not a bad word to say about this mask, it's one of my top 5 for sure!

I thought this was a good size tub for the price. I do really like Lush products so seeing as this masque lasts longer than the other fresh masks I decided to get it. I like that this masque is all natural. Also as this masque dries I can still move my face easily and comfortably even though my skin feels a bit firmer or tighter. It has mint in it which is cooling not my fave but my skin feels like it's getting a deep clean and the mint does smell refreshing. I have used this when my face was breaking out a bit and did help to calm the breakout the next day. This masque could double as a scrub as well. The main thing about this scrub that makes it not a fave with me is that it has big particles in it I don't know if it's the primrose seeds or aduki beans but the particles are a rougher than I like in scrub. Because of that I can only use this mask once a week because more often than that it's too strong my skin. I do also like to rinse off mud and clay masks instead of using a face towel to save on laundry and this mask isn't as easy to rinse off and leaves a bit of a mess around the sink, although it does come off much easier in shower. I think this mask does also make a nice body scrub if you want to shell out for the larger pot. This would be ideal for those that get acne on their back as a generous sized pot wouldn't be used up too quickly. I'm not sure if I would get it again just because the particles are a little bit bigger than I like in a scrub but other than that it’s a great product.

This is the second lush mask I've tried, and I'm totally hooked. This doesn't need to be kept in the fridge, and I found it goes a long way for the price, so it's excellent value. This mask has quite a thick, rough texture and is mint scented. You apply it just like a normal mask (and end up looking like you're starring in Wicked, it's very green) and wait about 5 - 10 minutes for it to dry. It doesn't dry hard like some masks, and it doesn't drip or run when it's on which is good! I did find that even though it's not kept in the fridge, it stays very cold which isn't always delightful in winter, but oh well! I usually scrub this off with a washcloth in the shower, which is where the exfoliating magic happens. My skin always feels firmer and smoother after using this mask, and it definitely does soothe any problem areas - although it's not a miracle cure! I'd say I use this regularly as prevention for breakouts rather than waiting for them to strike, but I still love this and will definitely repurchase :)

In my boxing day haul I recieved a generous sample of this mask. I didn't request any samples because I like the element of surprise that comes with opening my lush packages. During that time it was quite a wait because it was after the new years break that I recieved this. After getting my Lush haul I have admittedly become a Lushie addict.

My sample came in a clear little tub. Different to the last little pots I got from worldofsooziewong. The color of this mask reminds me a seaweed olive shade of green. This ascent reminded me of a bunch of freshly picked mint but it was very subtle. In comparison to my Queen Helene Mint Julep Mask The Queen Mask was more pungent in Minty Fragrance. The consistency had tiny bits of beans running through this mask which gave this mask an exfoliating feel to it.

After 10 minutes of wearing this mask I noticed that it settled into my skin well. It dried out evenly and waiting time wasn't as long as others Ive tried. This mask was simple for me to spread out. I believe I could get a minimum of 3 to four mask applications out of one sample.

After reading glowing reviews about this mask and seeing it featured on you tube I believe this mask is great for exfoliating dead skin leaving my skin feeling soft and smooth. This mask is priced fairly considering its fresh and an all vegan made product. Overall I really enjoyed this mask and I would happily buy a full sized pot of this mask.
