This mask is so good! Left my skin feeling hydrated and refreshed. I’m definitely going to work this mask into my skin care routine. Was pretty comfortable to wear and wasn’t super wet that it slipped and slides all over your face. Also found the serum it left on my skin so nice and hydrating and once massages in, my skin felt great. Would highly recommend to people with dry skin and would 100% use again

Tips: I found it was easier to adjust/fit to my face after I had pulled the blue protective layer off.
I have normal/combination skin - I can get oily around my t-zone. I have a pretty rigorous skincare routine, so I wasn't sure I would notice much of a difference with this mask.
First, the packaging is a square foil packet, not much bigger than a CD case (does anyone have CDs anymore?! haha). You can easily rip open the top and the mask is inside, saturated in serum.
The mask is a tissue/baby wipe type material, but it has a backing on it which makes it a bit more sturdy when you are unfolding it. I found it really easy to place on my face, and peel off the blue layer.
The mask itself is one size fits all, so as you can imagine won't be perfect for everyone, I found that if I walked around or sat up, it began to slide, so I took myself off to bed and laid down for the 15 minutes. I highly recommend this as part of the relaxation process... lush!
The serum smells absolutely amazing, of course there is a pomegranate scent, but it also smells like some kind of baby lotion; really fresh and clean.
When I peeled it off there was so much serum left on my face; I literally couldn't rub it all in, so I ended up rubbing the excess into my hands. My skin did feel amazingly soft afterwards.
It wasn't until the next morning however that I noticed how even my skin tone looked. I usually colour correct my dark under eye circles and redness in my cheeks every morning, but was able to skip for a few days after. I used it on Friday night, and it is now Monday and I'd say the effects have pretty much worn off, but I could totally see how using 3 in a week would make visible results.
At $4.99 per mask, I probably wouldn't use this all the time, but I definitely would buy a few and use in the run up to a special occasion!
Tips: Take yourself off to a quite room and lay down for the 15 minutes for ultimate relaxation, and to stop the mask sliding off!
A bright shiny package arrived for me to try. Extra points for the shiny packaging and bright graphics. The instructions seemed pretty straight forward so it was all systems go last night. It was a bit goopy getting out of the sleeve and deciding which side has to go on my face was a 30 second dilemma. It did say have the blue side away but really both sides looked blueish. Okay that sorted on it went. Oh dear my eyes are too far apart and my nose is too wide! After dealing with this reality check in the harsh lighting of my bathroom mirror I carried on. Once I peeled away the blue side and binned I then proceeded to press the tissue infused mask into my face. Okay the eye slits started to adjust and sit better and my nose was covered as well. Okay my alien-like features was a slight over exaggeration and the mask sat on my face quite well once I stretched, pressed and pulled it to fit. It felt quite nice sitting on my face for the 15 minutes andi even managed to terrify the dog and child. Husband just raised his eyebrows as if what is she doing now. It was easy to peel off but there was quite a bit of excess left which I rubbed in. No way was I washing off as one of the suggestions so I left the residue on over night. My skin felt smoother and softer this monrning. No I didn't look younger but my skin looked rested. Would I use again. A great idea before an event to give my skin a boost so it can be glowing.
Tips: Was a bit messy make sure you have bin close to throw out bits as needed as it gets a bit messy and all fingers and thumbs. It will fit over your features but you have to work to get it there.
Sometimes it’s just the simple things. Hydration Masks being one of them. I had no problem trailing this Garnier one, I like their products, not too fancy and great price.
My skin needs hydration, it can’t get enough. The mask was easy to apply, stayed on well for the 15 mins. It didn’t move or slip at all. There was a generous amount of gel, the left over I placed on the top of my hands and forearms.
The gel was quite cooling, divine for the middle of summer, bit too cold for me yesterday but now that I am aware of it it’s not so much of a surprise. Wasn’t at all offensive, smelt nice and no reaction on me.
This morning my skin feels more plumped, like not so drawn and dehydrated looking which puts it on the “will buy again” list.
A little on the expensive side at $4.99 each – maybe if I could buy a pack with 6 for $20.00 I’d find it better value.
It’s one of those products that would be great as stocking fillers. Masks seem to be all the rage at the moment; it’s a great thing, something not messy, non staining & affordable giving for Christmas fillers with it not a waste of time or money.
Tips: Use the left over gel from packet after application on the top of your hands and forearm.
Love love love this product, it certainly delivered and did everything it promised. Friday nights are my bubble bath and pamper nights, the tissue mask was part of last week's pampering. I applied the mask - which was easy to do - and sat back to reap the benefits. After 15 minutes I peeled it off and rinsed my face, and it felt wonderful. My skin was so soft and had a dewy fresh look about it. It must have been good, even my husband remarked on my 'glowing' skin when I got out of the bath! I was a little concerned with the level of hydration that I would have clogged pores and maybe the chance of breakouts the next day, but am happy to report that neither of those things happened. While I woke up with crease lines on my face from my pillow as usual, I noticed these receded in a shorter time than they normally do. Even after my normal skincare routine the next morning I noticed my skin was still soft and felt hydrated. Would I buy this product again? Absolutely!
Tips: Sit back, relax and enjoy the experience. When you are removing the mask make sure you take it off slowly and massage in the excess product.
Ok so first things first I'm a complete tissue mask (or mask in general) newbie so this was a new experience for me. I spent Saturday morning out horse riding with sunscreen on my face so decided that Saturday afternoon was a good time to test out its effects post shower.
The packet is nice and fairly easy to open. I would recommend using scissors rather than tearing it if you want to avoid some of the formula sliding out of the opening as you tear it. First impression: the packet was really cute and bright with clear instructions on application and duration. The smell wasn’t particularly strong – so now 48 hours after doing it I can’t remember the scent. The application: oh wow. This part I honestly did not enjoy. I hadn’t anticipated how wet this mask would feel and it was nearly sensory overload. Smoothing it onto my face resulted in the formula sliding out at the edges and I had to grab a tissue and wipe around the edges so that I could put up with it. By the end of 15 minutes I was dealing with it ok but for me it was not an enjoyable experience. It slid down my face a bit if I moved my mouth and I had to readjust it a good few times. The result: holy moly it was amazing. My skin felt (and still feels) super hydrated. It was so soft and nice that I went to a friend’s birthday party without putting any makeup on except lipstick. Sunday I went horse riding with another friend and for a walk along the beach, I did put on Thin Lizzy for some SPF, and washed it off in the afternoon with trilogy cleansing oil. Fast forward to now – Monday lunchtime and my skin still feels amazing.
The Verdict: This mask left my skin feeling amazing… but… for me I don’t think I can get past just how wet/slimy this felt for me. There’s no way this will end up in my regular routine but I might be able to brave it every now and again for a treat. I didn’t notice any difference in ‘evening the skins complexion’ but it did feel amazing!
Tips: If you don't like things that feel wet/slimy then you need to brace yourself before using this. Cut the packet with scissors to avoid anything leaking out as you open it.
As I have not been a "mask" person previously, this opportunity provided much excitement to experiment. I was not disappointed. The product came in compact packaging which was attractive, instructions were simple and easy to follow and the quick-open tear-off was ideal.
The fragrance which greeted me was fresh and clean, very appealing. The mask itself was generously infused with serum. I wear glasses to to apply both layers was a slight challenge, but once I peeled off the protective film I could easily adjust the tissue to fit my face properly.
Fifteen minutes' relaxation - bliss. The mask was cooling, soothing and yet invigorating. My skin is dryish these days, a combination of ageing as well as climate. Immediately my skin felt replenished and refreshed.
After the rest time I removed the tissue and yet there was ample serum remaining to be massaged all over my facial area and well down my neck. Beautiful. This dried quite quickly and the pleasant, fresh feeling remained.
When I saw these great masks are only $4.99 I chastised myself for not having used them regularly before - yes, this will be a permanent buy for me. Thank you.
Tips: Go for it! A bargain indeed which pays you back tenfold in pleasure.
I was excited to get on this trial as my skin is super dry and dull at the moment. I have flakey skin on my cheeks and especially around my nose. It is also quite sensitive. The mask comes in an attractive foil packet and you simply tear the top off to remove it. It is soaked in serum, lots of product which I liked. I did a patch test first and put a little bit of serum on my jaw to make sure it didn't burn my skin. No issues at all so I then applied the tissue side to my face and peeled off the blue layer. Adjusted so it sat properly then sat back and relaxed for 15 minutes. It felt very cooling and had a subtle fresh scent.
I found it was easy to apply and the holes actually lined up to my face. When the time was up I gently peeled it off, there was a lot of serum left on my face so I massaged it in and any leftover went on my neck. It did not leave any sticky feeling at all which was great and boy did my skin feel soft!
The next morning my skin was still baby soft and had a wonderful glow. I loved using this mask and feel it is amazing for dry skin. I would definately use this again and think this is a winner from Garnier. Huge thumbs up from me.
I'll start by commenting on my skin - I have combination skin with a tendency to get oily in my T-Zone, with dryness on the outer areas of my face. Coming out of winter and into spring there are some little flaky dry patches and it tends to be more dry than oily.
I was impressed with the packaging, it looks very sleek in silver and cute with the flower accent. I couldn't wait to open it and see what was inside! On the back of the package it has all the info you would need to find out what it intends to do to your face, and what it has in it. It claims to give 24 hours of hydration. When I opened it the face mask was folded up. I got it out and unfolded it, there was a lot of gel/liquid on the mask. So much so that I had to wipe my hands as I went.
You have to apply it with the blue layer on the outside and use your fingers to mould it to the contours of your face. Once again I must stress that there was A LOT of product so it felt quite wet and almost drippy. It smelt really fresh and not at all like a fake chemical smell like some other face masks. I had a little trouble pulling the blue layer off but once I did the face mask was light and fitted well.
My family got a little scared when I came out with it on, but their reaction was funny and an added bonus. I left it on for 15 minutes, it didn't dry at all and still felt very wet. It says you can rub in the product that is left on your face, but there was so much I wiped it off with a cotton pad. My face felt sticky for a few minutes afterwards but following on from that it felt super hydrated. I liked the result that it gave, my skin was glowing and fresh looking. In the morning my skin wasn't oily, it gave me a nice even level of moisture across my whole face.
I would use it again as a treat, or for a pamper night, but I don't think I'll be adding it into my weekly routine at $4.99 a pop.
