Use this at least once a week. Because it is so natural I trust it 100% if my skin is a bit broken out. Its so gentle and calming but also flushes out my pores. I always notice a huge difference in my skin/acne after using this. Totally recommended, especially for senstive/acne prone skin.

Lush Catastrophe Cosmetic Face Mask
Avoid disasters with the power of blueberries!
Fresh blueberries are rich in beneficial antioxidants, vitamins and minerals to reduce inflammation and act as a mild antiseptic.
Soothing chamomile, Irish moss and almond oil work with the gentle cleansing action of calamine to save your skin.
Apply to clean skin, avoiding the eye area.
Leave for five to ten minutes, then rinse away with warm water. Keep chilled.

Tips: Apply with a flat foundation brush for even coverage and to keep your hands clean!
This fresh face mask is divine! Love this smell of it and it's texture. I find it is really cooling and soothing to the skin. I tend to use it when I have bad acne and need something to give my skin a bit of a pick me up. Leaves my skin feeling really soft and smooth as well as taking away any redness I may have had
Tips: Keep it in the fridge, feels a lot better on the face when you take it straight from the fridge!
Catastrophe Cosmetic was recommended to me by the girls at lush as I get break outs. It comes in a cute little pot and looks and smells delicious - like blueberries!! It doesn't last long as its only 75g so I only use it once a week as it is a little pricey. It has a nice texture on the face, feels like clay and actual pieces of blueberries! its divine! And my skin feels so calm and soft after washing off. I would love to use it twice a week but it just wouldn't last :( but I am so happy with this face mask it calms my breakouts and makes my skin feel lovely :)
Tips: Read the expiry date! mine only lasted 3 weeks from when I bought it! but if it looks and smells ok its fine to use :) oh and keep in the fridge!
Funnily enough I'm writing this review with this on my face! I love this mask - smells amazing and so nice to put on from the fridge, especially in summer or a hot day. I find this is really good at getting my skin to calm down if it's freaking out about something (long-haul flights, for example) and is really good for taking some of the redness out of any blemishes I might have. Highly recommended!
Went and bought this after reading the reviews on BR. Only 3 words to describe it A-MAZ-ING! You keep it in the fridge then slather it on as a wet face pack. It dries to a degree, but not really "cakey". It feels spectacular. As it has been really hot lately the coolness of this mask is really calming and your skin feels fresh and alive afterwards. Wash off with a hot flannel.
Tips: As it is fresh it has a two week life span although the girl in the Lush shop said it will probably be ok for another week after that. The pottle isn't huge but a little bit goes a long way so i'd say you'd need to use it twice a week for 3 weeks to fully use it. So just don't put it in the fridge and forget about it.
I love, love , loved how this felt on my skin! So cooling and it smelt great. I like how it is made from blueberries and the redness over the top of my cheeks started to fade and I have had any black heads while using this. At the moment I'm not using this because I'm trying to trail every lush mask but I will definitely come back to this one in some point of time.
Tips: If you leave it too long it starts to go flakey so only leave it as directed.
This is a great face mask but I would probably buy either Oatfix or Love Lettuce instead next time as those two seem to work better for me (I have dry-normal skin).
Catastrophe Cosmetic smells great and feels like breakfast for your skin. As far as face masks go, it's one of the better ones. As far as Lush face masks go, it's not their best one for my skin.
I love Lush and I love their face masks but this one isn't my favourite.
Tips: Good for preparing for an event!
For reference I have sensitive skin and use Dr Haushcka/Olay products. I have used Lush's sacred truth mask before with no problems but decided to try something new. Big mistake! The two times I have used this (2 weeks apart) I have had a huge breakout on my chin! Although my skin is sensitive products don't usually make me break out but this does :( I will give it another go but something in this isn't agreeing with me unfortunately.
I love trying out face masks, and lush Catastrophe Cosmetic Face Mask has such a yummy look that I knew it was going to be fun. I invited my hubby to try it as well and we had an unplanned"Halloween" party, both of us looking like smurfs, and it was so nice... The mask has a wonderfully fruity smell to it and you can see the actual pieces of blueberry as you spread the mask all over you face. Although very easy to spread, the mask has a scrub feeling to it and acts as a relaxing massage while the strong fresh fragrance fills your lungs. It dries up pretty fast and stays in place without falling apart or cracking with a surprisingly uniform texture. Your skin will feel really dry very quickly - think Sahara desert -but after you remove the mask with warm water you start feeling the almond oil still working to make your skin feel soft, maybe not so moist as one could expect... The Catastrophe Cosmetic Face Mask was not a Catastrophe at all. The smurf colour of the mask made me smile and it does seem to work well on the skin making it feel smooth and tight. Overall a good pleasant product.
This mask has comedogenic ingredients, so while it's quite soothing and cooling, it also means I ended up with quite large, sore pimples.
