L'Oreal Paris Revitalift Youthful Brightening Tissue Mask Reviews

Sheet masks are a funny thing - I don't consciously go to buy them, I tend to see them in store and purchase on a whim.

This sheet mask by Loreal has a backing on it to make unpeeling and positioning the very thin mask easier. It's a slimy task, so keep a tissue handy to wipe your hands afterwards.

I found the mask a little small for my mahoosive face - there was an inch or so of my forehead uncovered. But the nose flap and mouth flap were ok so that's probably more important!

There was no distinct smell to the serum, and overall it was a really relaxing 20 minutes wearing the mask.

I think the product really did soak into my skin, the over-saturation of the mask ensured that my skin was given a thorough drink.

I really loved the brightening of my skin, it looked and felt dewy, refined and soft.

I do worry about the impact of these single use products and wish brands would consider multipacks to lesson the plastic waste.

Overall though, my experience with this product was positive!

I really enjoyed using this face mask and look forward to the release in March.

The mask comes in a standard sheet mask sachet - it is soaked in serum, with excess in the pack. I used the excess on my decolletage and neck to avoid wastage.

It was easy enough to unfold and apply to my face. I'm not sure if the backing of the mask is necessary, I've used plenty of tissue masks that don't have a peel-off backing and to be honest, they were no more difficult to unfold and apply.

The mask stayed in place comfortably and didn't move around. I felt it was a generous size, and the eye, nose and mouth holes were of adequate size and positioning - I could breath and feel relaxed.

I left it on for upwards of 30 minutes and upon removal my skin had a salon-facial glow. I patted the excess product into my skin.

My skin was noticeably brighter for the next few days and very smooth to the touch.

This mask would make a nice relaxing addition to any skin care routine.

I have been selected to review the L'Oreal Paris Revitalift Youthful Brightening Tissue Mask and I put it to the test this weekend. I have used masks before, never used a tissue mask. I didn't enjoy it.

As recommended, I washed my face before starting the process. I removed the mask from the packaging. It started to get messy right there having to use both hands to apply it onto my face. I like to use one hand to apply a mask, keeping the other one clean.

Once I applied the mask on my face, I peeled the blue film and relaxed for 15 minutes. This is when I thought that my neck wasn't getting any treatment. I usually apply the mask on my neck as well. After 15 minutes I removed the mask, massaged the serum into my face and jumped in the shower.

Looking in the mirror after the shower, I agree the mask made my skin looked radiant and relaxed, unfortunately it dried my skin too.

As I only have one sample to try, I can't test it on a longer period of time. I wouldn't be interested to anyway as the packaging and mask produce too much rubbish for my liking, none of it being recyclable in my opinion.

I would not recommend the product to my friends as it didn't suit my skin and doesn't fit my values of recycling. I have used L'Oreal Paris Revitalift products before that I like, but this one isn't my cup of tea. Max 2 out of 5.

This one off mask comes in a packaging that is easily opened, inside is a mask backed in blue there is a lot of serum in this mask so it comes out very moist but not overly sticky. Apply as instructions, peeling off the blue side of the mask. It moulds beautifully into the face and I patted in place once the blue side was off. I lay back and relaxed, this mask felt both cool and refreshing - I think it would work for a lot of skin types as i never felt any stinging or reaction to the serum and it felt like a very fast 15 minutes. Once I took the mask off there was a lot of serum still on my face and even after massaging in I left for longer for the serum to absorb into the skin. There was improvement to my skin it did look brighter and a little more toned, my skin also feels softer. Absolutely worth trying and I would like to try over a month to see what results I can get, easily facial for home use. For those who want to Improve their skin at home, this is a facial mask I would recommend. I like L’Oreal products as I feel I can trust them and their research they put into their products.
