I was super excited to try this mask, so when the courier knocked on the door, I quickly picked up the item and ran to the couch to do my thing.
I opened the package, which is a really nice package and easy to open, and pulled out the mask. My goodness!! It is FULL of hydrating gel. I unfolded it and placed it on my face, following the very simple instructions. I found it a bit small around the eyes and it irritated my eyelashes on the outside corner of my eyes, just touched them and made it a little uncomfortable. I pealed off the blue plastic and adjusted the mask and watched tv for 15 mins!
Carefully pulled the masked off and there was so much gel on my face, I couldn't rub it all in, so again, following the instructions, wiped the excess off.
My face was cool and hydrated. It's now been 3 hours since I applied it and my skin feels so soft and there is no ghastly smell.
I love a good tissue mask, and was really excited to see Garnier come out with some. I saw this in Farmers for $4.99. Containing soothing ingredients such as chamomile, hyaluronic acid and a hydrating serum, this product describes itself as a "Hydra Bomb", and it's not wrong. The mask is a standard size and some manipulation is required. The liquid has no discernable scent and is clear. After applying to face, I used some of the excess liquid to apply to my neck, and decolletage area and chilled for 15 mins. After removal you can either massage leftover product into skin, or remove with tissues. I chose to massage in. I applied this before bedtime, so used it as my nightcream that night. The next day, my skin was plump, and soft and some of the redness had calmed. The oride seems a bit steep, especially when you can buy some other really good tissue masks, with good quality ingredients, @ 5 for $12, but i guess they are cheaper than the SK-II ones lol.
Tips: Massage excess fluid into neck, decolletage area and.the back of hands.
