Urban Decay De Slick Oil Control Make Up Setting Spray Review

This setting spray is the perfect way to finish the matte look! I am a big fan of the matte look and use powder to maintain this, however this setting spray has kept the oil away for much longer than the powder has. It also keeps makeup in place for much longer than powder on its own would.

Its not everyday that you go into a Sephora and I was lucky enough to be in one, this would be the best impulse buy I have ever made in my life! Since I wouldn't be in another Sephora store in a long time I made sure I made it worth my while.

It comes in white bottle with silver writing, the Urban decay all nighter is in a similar white bottle but with purple writing so you never confuse the 2.

I don't suffer from oily skin but if I apply makeup in the morning, by the afternoon my t-zone gets oily. On hot days I sweat ALOT on my t-zone and it gets really embarrassing having to carry tissues to pat my sweaty areas let alone trying to do it discreetly when im out in public, I needed to find something which would help this problem. I FOUND THE CURE!

After applying my full face of make up I spray it in a circular motion over my face and then I do it directly on my t-zone. The spray is more of a spritz of liquid, its comes out small and very light, and it has a nice smell to it.

I was able to test it in the hottest weather while I was away, temperatures were around 38-40 degrees and I still sweated in my t-zone but only at a minimum, I was so impressed with this product. It still keeps your makeup in place and you look fresh faced all day!

This product has been made in partnership with Skindinavia, which is a brand that specializes in skin and has rave reviews for their products. The instructions are to keep in a cool dark area so a fridge would suit. Shake well before use and spray 10" away from face in a + pattern &followed; by a x pattern. This is to ensure the face gets full exposure to the mist and an even application. The mist is just that you feel quite wet but as it dries up it sets your make up well and there,s no smearing or running of your makeup. what was once wet is dry, no sticky, tacky or shiney effects. The product does keep the shine a bay and also keeps the matte look for your day. Under heat you face doesn't perspire and holds up the make up. It non offensive I'm scent and non allergenic. The length of ilno shine affect lasts up to 6 hours before needing to powder Tha face. For this reason I give this a big thumbs up.

I've only had this for a few weeks, I ordered it in from Sephora in the States (and thank you, exchange rate, for rocketing the day I purchased!! -_-). I've been looking for a new setting spray, because you know I love my Fix+ but sometimes you don't want to put in all that work for a matte face and then spray it with a product that'll leave you looking dewy every time. This stuff is AWESOME. It feels like nothing going on (seriously. Nothing), and my makeup lasts all day. In addition, I don't start looking a little shiny until somewhere around the six hour mark which is a damned miracle for my skin!
