I bought this foundation at one of the makeup sales as I had been looking at it for a while and wanted a cheap everyday foundation. I found the colours for lighter skinned ladies are either too grey or too pink. I went for the more grey option as my skin is already quite pink but it still wasn't quite the right colour (maybe I need to try a different colour). I found the coverage was medium which is good for everyday wear for me but I would choose a more high coverage foundation for the weekend. It is a fairly matte formula but I still use a light powder as my skin can be quite oily towards the end of the day. I will mix with another foundation to use the bottle but probably wouldn't purchase again.

Tips: Make sure you colour match correctly before purchasing!
I picked this up a few months ago as I was curious with the matte formula. I've tried the original Fit Me foundation years ago and although I liked it then, it wasn't the best for my oily skin.
This Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless foundation is so much better for me. The finish is not super matte but it keeps the oil at bay. It's medium coverage but it's buildable and it's not cakey. If I really need my foundation to last all day, I mix this with another favourite foundation of mine (Estee Lauder Double Wear) and it doesn't budge and has a great finish that lasts all day.
I apply this with a beauty blender and set with a face powder. Although I prefer lighter foundations to wear to work, I sometimes use this because it has good coverage but it doesn't feel heavy on the skin.
Matte everything is the big trend at the moment, and a matte foundation is the perfect thing for us oily skinned ladies. This product certainly reduces the appearance of pores and provides great coverage, however I find that it refuses to stay put on my face no matter what primer and setting spray I use. It moves around on your face a lot and slides off very easily. So overall I'd say it's a fairly average product that looks good when first applied but certainly won't stay looking that way all day.
Tips: DEFINITELY use both a primer and a setting spray with this product so that you can at least prolong how long it'll stay in place.
I had heard that this particular matte foundation wasn't that great (just through friends ands friends of friends), but because I love matte foundation and have tried a few that have been suggested to me and They have failed,I decided to try this one,and omg I LOVE this, it's so good on my skin and it doesn't irritate me either. It's not cakey and I wore it for a few hours one day without setting spray and it was still fine when I got home :) I find it blends really well also. It is pricier then some I've used but it's my #1 foundation at the moment :)
Tips: If you know your colour,it's cheaper to buy online
This foundation is my first try of Maybelline. Maybellines one of those brands you can easily online or at most chain stores. When they launched this new line last year I was interested to see what this would be like. I purchased this in a bulk lot from Trade me because I like bargain hunting. Typically in New Zealand foundations can be priced medium to high range. Theres always other ways to try and find foundations and at an affordable rate like at Red Bucket sales etc. My skin type is dry combination with large pores. I get acne every time I try a new foundation or skincare product. Thankfully not with this one.
This bottle is rectangular in shape. Glass streamlined bottle with Maybelline on it. Has a detachable lid.I went for Sun beige. Its a perfect match for my skin tone. This formula is a runny liquid. No scent at all.
I like to use this foundation with my beauty blender. This smooths out nicely across my skin. It feels like medium coverage on my skin. It did begin to fade out for me. Only dry spots I had was on my acne and scarring . Kind of odd because its never happened to me before. My skin appears to have a matte finish with this. Its not really poreless on my skin and I think thats what I envisaged. Like a primer foundation in one.
Overall for me it was definitely good for a matte finish. I think a primer is still required as it does show pores. I think its priced fairly. I wont be using this again as it didn't last long enough for me. Still I believe it is great value for your money and one bottle lasts a very long time. Im still trying to get through mine.
Tips: Be careful with taking off the lid. It does splatter easily.
I have dry skin, always have, but I was having no luck with foundations that were targeted at dry skin. Whilst in Hawaii early last year I saw this, it was cheap as chips so I thought I'd take the plunge and try something that's the polar opposite of what I normally go for. Boy am I glad I did!
It's a medium coverage foundation, feels super light on the skin and looks very much like skin. For me, the claims aren't necessarily true as it doesn't highlight my pores but it definitely doesn't hide them or leave porous areas looking 'poreless'. It also leaves more of a satin finish as opposed to matte, so your skin looks healthy and alive! And it doesn't cling to dry patches, hoorah!
The one annoying thing about this foundation is that it doesn't come with a pump. It's quite a runny formula so it can be a bit messy as a result. I find the best application method is with a beauty blender, or your fingers work surprisingly well if you're strapped for time. I initially picked up shade 115 which I realised was a little too pinky, so I've since picked up 110 and 120 to mix accordingly depending on whether I'm wearing fake tan etc. For reference, the shades that end in 5 are more pinky, and those that end in 0 are more yellow based.
I'm so close to finishing my 115 shade which says a lot as I can't remember the last time I actually finished a foundation. I wear it most days to work, and any time I need to know that my makeup will last the day and not look cakey and worn out at the end of it. It's just an awesome foundation!
Tips: This foundation mixes well with soo many other foundations, so give this a go mixing it in with a foundation you don't overly love, or that you need to change the colour of.
I am quite pale and ivory was too dark for me in this range, it sat really badly on my skin, pooling in areas and looking cakey. I was quite disappointed as I had heard so many great things about this, with me it's either hit or miss and this was definately a miss.
I have recently learned from a BR pro lovely that my skin is not dry and sensitive like I previously was told. It's combination and can be quite oily in the T Zone area. I previously used the Fit Me dewy finish because I thought the shining dewy look was better for my dry skin. But little did I know that although in places it looked good in the oily areas it made it even oilier.
When I changed my skin care range it only made sense to get the correct foundation to compliment the new skin care regime I had started. Now the Fit Me range didn't float my boat before but I was hoping that this would change my mind on it completely.
I have the shade Natural Beige 220 which is slightly darker than the last one I bought. I am guessing that my skin tone changed once summer came around and I have been kissed by the sun. The formula is quite a lot thinner than I am used to with other foundations. It made it feel like it wouldn't give me the coverage I craved from it. I pressed ahead nonetheless.
I used a RT foundation brush to apply the foundation to get the most flawless look I possibly can and to get in to all the lines and crevices. I am most excited about the 'poreless' element it promised. I have some visible pores on my nose and would love nothing more than to airbrush them out with foundation.
I tend to stipple the foundation on my face concentrating on my pore-ful areas and behold they are airbrushed away with the rest of my blemishes. The coverage is average but it works for my need of non-caking face and coverage of the most importants which is the pores and blemishes. It is very light and airy which makes me feel like I am not choking my skin with product.
I do find that wearing it on a hot day can mean that it will not go the mile and will need to be re-touched. I tend to wear a finishing powder over the top to help set the foundation and to prolong the wear time which works well. I can go six hours without a re-touch on a hot day which is a winner for me at the cheap price. I am sold on this and my skin looks amazing and doesn't appear dry which is what I was afraid of it doing, My oily T Zone is not as oily as it used to be and I am saving over $20 by buying this brand rather than the usual one I got. I am sold on this and will be buying it again.
Tips: Use a finishing powder over top
I love love love this foundation. I have tried so many different foundations that promise you perfection but this one doesn't lie. It matches perfectly too. Will definitely be buying this again.
Tips: I recommend using a brush for application.
