Tips: using this with a beauty blender gives better coverage than using your fingers :)
This product used to work for me brilliantly.
I have quite dry skin and used to love this product however more recently I have found it doesnt leave my skin with a nice finish at all and not that great coverage.
I have tried using with primer and foundation and still get that dry look from it.
I would recommend to go into Farmers or somewhere and get a makeup artist to try on your skin before you buy it as it is on the expensive side.
Tips: Try before you buy as may not work for you! Would not recommend to people with dry to very dry skin as it will leave you looking flakey.
This is one of my backup foundations if I cant afford to splurge on my normal foundation. I like to switch up between mineral and maximum cover but this is a nice go to sometimes. Not sure about 24hours I would never wear my foundation that long lol but it did last a full work day for me. I don’t use a powder or anything to set so I would imagine if I used powder to set it would last a lot longer but it wears the whole work day for me so I’m happy with that. It has a lightweight feel on the skin (doesn’t make me feel cakey and too done up) it evens out my skin tone well. I do need to add extra cover to my dark circles unfortunately these are genetic and require some serious work to get rid of !. Med-full coverage on me, matt finish. It was very easy to apply (im a hands on applier but would be great with a beauty blender). I didn’t get any breakouts or anything from it which is good. All in all this product lasts really well , good colour match for me I would highly recommend it.
I have been using this foundation for the past 4 years and I love it. I will often buy others to test out but always come back to this one. It doesn't dry my skin out and is long lasting. It covers well especially when used with the photoready concealer and powder and the combination on the three is perfect for me. It was discontinued and reformulated and I haven't actually noticed much of a difference in the formula at all. The range of colours is good also I have a summer one and a winter one and blend them in between as I lose my summer tan.
Tips: Having separate summer and winter shades means you can blend them to suit your skin tone all year round. Best used with a setting powder to make it last longer. 8+ hours
I love this foundation! And i'm yet to find one i like better. I have heard allot about this foundation being better in the oily/combination formula, but in my experience i don't really see a difference. I have quite dry skin so i don't want anything to matte or drying and this makes my skin dewy looking and not dry at all. I like the way it holds up on my skin as well. I do find it oxidizes a little and becomes slightly darker. So i do recommend blending it thoroughly when applying. Its easy to apply, i use a flat top kabuki brush and it blends out amazingly. Its coverage is great and it doesn't flashback in photos.
Tips: Like i said, blend blend blend! And also i like to apply a light layer first and build it up to my desired coverage for the day. :)
Defiantly long wearing and non-transferable. I have normal skin and I find that colour stay for normal skin does make my skin quite dry and flakey. I used the combination to oily and it fits me MUCH better!
Tips: Make sure to contour and/or blush and highlight. Since it literally covers every flaw on your face it can look ghostly if you don't contour and blush effectively!
I use this foundation as my backup.... I do like this foundation but I do find it to me very cakey on me and half way through the day it seems to come off.
I find it very hard to work with as it dries quite fast, but it does do a full coverage and leaves a nice finish. Also for the price of it l, which you can get for $22 on sale I find it a must have for a make up collection.
All in all I do like this foundation but I wear it more in the night if I'm going out :)
Tips: Much easier to work with, with a foundation brush or even your fingers!
I recently switched to this product from Revlon photoready. I have tried this product in both formulas but still unsure I which one I prefer. This foundation is a medium to full coverage and applies nicely. I find that it lasts a full day on my face but don't know if it would last 24 hours like it suggests that it would. I like the colour range of this product I wear the lightest shade and its a good value for money because one bottle will last me at least 6 months of everyday use.
Tips: Get colour matched to find your correct shade.
This is a basic staple for any foundation collection. The product provides great medium to full coverage and has a matte finish to it. The colour range is very good and I have found my perfect match of 110 Ivory. It does set quite quickly but it is not a major issue. This foundation also has good staying power and requires minimal touch ups throughout the day.
love revlon have used it for years. great coverage, I didn’t get any breakouts or anything from it. its not to heavy on your skin. lasts all day. love love love it!
