I stumbled upon bareMinerals original foundation a few years back and have never looked back. I have annoying dry sensitive skin that has it's good and bad days. This makeup is the first that has worked with my skin and doesn't highlight the dry patches (as most of us are afraid of with powders) or make my skin break out. It feels weightless on and doesn't give that heavy made up look. I wear the original over some CC cream or BB cream, depending on how heavy I want my coverage. Otherwise if it's a quick trip to the shops then I wear a little over my tinted sunscreen just so I feel like I'm wearing something. Do yourself a favor and if you are thinking of trying mineral makeup then give bareMinerals a go, you won't be disappointed.

I was reccomeded this by my sister in law who worked for the brand in oz. I have pretty sensitive and combo skin, with facial exzcema at times. I was using brands such as revon and it was decking havoc on my skin.
Once I tried this I was hooked, once you learn how to apply this powder you can get such an amazing light to medium coverage. I like the fact that it looks and feels like my skin and isn't heavy or cakey, although it doesn't cover all my imperfections it's coverage buildable. It lasts all day, but I do have oily t zone so I do a touch up later in the day.
Tips: There is also at matte formula which I may try next time.
As a long time, unsatisfied user of liquid foundation, I recently bought bareMinerals and am a total convert! I have fairly dry skin and the minerals give even coverage and the colourings match perfectly, lasting all day long. I will definitely be buying this product again and have told all my friends about how great it is.
Tips: Start off slow with a small amount and build upon it if necessary.
I am always looking for a nice natural coverage foundation but i am not a big fan of liquid foundation so this product was a great find for me. It gives a really nice natural light feeling coverage but a good coverage.I wouldnt recommend this if your need a lot of coverage but it does really well for my skin and i do have a few blemish type scars. I was really pleased at the way it blended into my natural skin colour. It didn't break me out like liquid foundations normally do so that was a major bonus for me.
This foundation has a nice feel to it, it feels very natural and definitely does not cake on your skin. There is not much coverage unless you apply multiple layers which can take a long time as it is a powder and has to built up. It stays on a long time though and has a nice colour to it. It is helpful having spf in it as well. I have used this for many years and I like to wear it over a liquid foundation for extra coverage
I have used Bare Minerals for several years now. I have tried several other kinds of foundation such as Bobby Brown, Mac, Dior, Rodan and Fields - to name a few. I didn't like the feeling of my face feeling heavy, or thick. Bare minerals keeps it feeling light, like I have no makeup on. I prefer having a natural look. I absolutely love it. However, if you do have dry skin - go with the BareSkin foundation rather than the powder. My only dislike on this foundation is that it comes of easy, so by the end of the day - it doesn't cover any of my imperfections.
Tips: The only tip I have is keep your face moisturized because if you have dryer skin, the bare minerals will show that.
I like this foundation. It is easy to apply and lasts well on my skin. I love the fact that it goes on so easily and that you can just apply over the top if you want some more coverage during the day. I have relatively sensitive skin and this was no problem at all. I would definitely use this again.
Love love love this mineral powder! at first i was apprehensive as i usually only used liquid but this changed my mind!! full build-able coverage and not one bit cakey!
Tips: apply with a kabuki brush and make sure your skin is moisturized beforehand
Bought this from my salon after they put it on my skin after a facial. I love how easily it buffs on and blends to your skin tone. It also doesn't dry out my skin, which I though would definitely happen with a powder foundation. You can build up the coverage but it can looks cakey, so look out for that!
This is quite expensive, but it does last a long time and is worth it compared to the other brand imitation of this.
Tips: Use the mineral veil to set and give a dewy finish.
I have been using BareMinerals for more than two years now, after a number of girlfriends raved about it. And I am very, very glad they talked me in to it, as it's the best foundation I have come across. I purchased it in Australia, so was able to purchase the whole starter kit (foundation, mineral veil, concealer, bronzer and brushes).
I was sceptical because I didn't believe powder would give good coverage (I mean, powder concealer? Really? How does that work?) but I was blown away by how light and smooth it feels, yet gives perfect coverage over any blemishes and redness. It doesn't clog the pores, it is SO much easier to apply and get perfect than liquid or cake foundations, and it lasts all day. I use it every day, and I even tried to go back to my MAC liquid foundation once - lasted a week and realised it was nowhere near as good as BareMinerals. The only downside I can think of is it can sometimes dry out the skin beside my nose a little - I just put a bit of extra moisturiser on the area, solves any problems.
Tips: Wait for your moisturiser to sink in. And be careful if you have dry skin - just be conscious of the zones which may dry out a bit more.
