I jumped at the opportunity to get a foundation that would fight pimples and ance but when I got it, it wasn't really what I was expecting. You didn't need much of the product to spread all over your face. I loved how this product had tea tree oil as well. But I found that the foundation was a bit cakey, didn't cover my freaks and would come off easily even after I applied powder and setting spray. But I think the foundation would have a better effect on someone who actually had acne (I just get pimples occasionally). I might buy it again if it was on sale. I would recommend this to someone who had acne.

Tips: Apply translucent powder over top for the best finish
I had seen this being talked about all over the show and decided I needed to see what the fuss was about. I would liken this to my clinique anti blemish foundation on a very minimal budget scale. It was cheap which I love but definitely was not nice on my sensitive skin. I found it very greasy looking and the colours weren't easy to match to my very snow white skin. I use this as a base every so often to use it up but feel I dont love it like I should.
Tips: Cheap enough to try but hard to match for pale skined beauties.
I thought this would of been better then it was. The lightest colour wasn't even very light, it got even darker as the day when on. Smells horrible. Coverage was good and buildable and would suit tanner skin better
This foundation really does offer full coverage, you could probably wing this without using a concealer. I don't agree with it being light, it's pretty heavy and I always have to set it with powder to soften it so it doesn't look like I applied 5 layers of foundation. I use it in the shade beige and I like using it if I am having a breakout because it helps a lot with not aggravating the acne and the salicylic acid helps with healing of the acne so the ingredients are good for the skin.
There is a fair amount of product in the packaging especially in comparison with the price, I paid $3 on the american elf site and had a friend bring it over with her from her travels. The packaging is a little squeeze tube and the consistency is not runny so you don't tend to waste a lot of product.
It's quite heavy coverage so I leave this for really bad skin days.
I have a mix of dry, normal and oily skin so this product was not exactly ideal for me, but I thought for the price it was worth a shot. It provides pretty great coverage, and in porcelain it is almost (but not quite) a good match for my super pale skin. I actually found that this product worked better for me when my skin was still a little dewy from my moisturizer, I guess because it allowed it to blend a little easier into the dry parts of my face. Currently I am blending it with Revlon nearly naked (which is quite runny) to get the perfect shade and blend-ability. I also always use this product with a damp beauty blender.
I love this for the price! I can't say much for the acne fighting as I havnt noticed a change in my skin but I havnt been using this everyday. Is a very thick consistancy and I love to mix it with a bit of MAC stone cream to make my skin a little bit more glowy. But it's very full coverage and. For the price you can't conplain! Would like to see elf bridge out a wider colour range though!
Tips: I found if I used a little too much it would sit in my fine lines and look really obvious. Very full coverage though!
Purchased this in the shade Buff from the ELF website, unfortunately the colour s a bit too dark for me so would be more of a summer/self-tan colour. Apart from that I was very impressed with the coverage and the fact that a little goes such a long way. I do not have acne prone skin but I prefer a high coverage due to redness/freckles and found I only needed one layer to hide all my imperfections
Tips: Use a good primer as I found it was a bit drying on my skin and wasn't blending too well, but with adding a bit more moisture this problem was resolved
After Shaaanxo used this in one of her tutorials I thought I'd give it a go, and I'm glad I did! This is a lightweight, light-medium coverage, my skin feels like it can breathe with this foundation on. It is easy to apply and I find it does last all day. Only downside is the colour range isn't that great so I have to mix two shades to get my perfect colour - but not too big of an issue considering how inexpensive the product is.
I can't really speak for the 'acne fighting' component of this foundation as my skin isn't acne prone, but I do get compliments on my skin every time I where this foundation!
I really love elf. It is so cheap and affordable, but the acne fighting foundation I would defiantly give a nice big thumbs up. It doesn't do 100% what it says but it is still a decent foundation and for a small amount a lot of use mostly when it comes to blending it's very easy to blend all over the face without light or dark patches.
I brought this product with high hopes, but when i applied the foundation it left mu skin very dry looking, but it did evenly cover my blemishes but not my freckles :( over all i would use this product but only with my face being very moisturised !!
