What can I say apart from this foundation ROCKS!! I was a bit iffy about it being so cheap, and thought there was no way this foundation is going to cover anything and it would probably only last a few hours. This foundation has been the best $9 I've ever spent. It covers everything, and I mean to the point where concealer is not necessary! One layer and then go in a second time to touch up a few problem areas and voila! Perfect flawless skin. And best off all it lasts all day and doesn't break you out because of the acne fighting properties. I wouldn't say it has made any acne better but it hasn't worsened it like most foundations do! The colour range is pretty limited but there is both pink and yellow tone, and while you may not get a perfect match you can get close enough and then add bronzer to the face and/or neck. Great packaging, easy squeeze tube and it is good for travelling-no messy bottles! I use this daily and will continue to do so until it is discontinued, which hopefully never happens!

Absolutely love the value for money with this foundation! Purchased from e.l.f website for only $3!!! What a bargain!
The finish was wonderful, and the coverage was fantastic, I don't particuly suffer with acne so haven't noticed any difference there but very impressed with this product :)
Had to give this a try with all the buzz surrounding it and I am absolutely a fan. I have combination skin with some rosacea on my cheeks and like a flawless finish so for years i've been using moisture mists beauty cake which is good for a full coverage but I get so shiny towards the end of the day so I thought I would give this a try and for $16 including postage why not.
I purchased in ivory which is the lightest shade I think. Doing some research lots of people were saying the shades were quite dark so I went lighter than the shade I first thought I would be which was a good choice for me.
At first I thought the bottle was tiny but for the price definitely still worth it and the amount I have to use is crazy the tiniest amount covers a big area and with absolutely flawless coverage no concealer needed. I found it long lasting and I didn't get my usual shinyness towards the end of the day. I don't have a problem with acne so not sure how well it works for that.
A must try if you like a full coverage
I really love this foundation, while it hasn't helped to improve my acne, I feel like the salicylic acid and tea tree in it helps to keep it from becoming worse. Since it is a foundation aimed towards acne prone skin, it has a great coverage. The texture of the foundation is thick and creamy, and a little goes a very long way. It does last a long time, but I have a bad habit of touching my face so it tends to wear off a bit.
Before trying this I was worried that it would sting around the eye area, but since it is such a small amount of salicylic acid, it isn't uncomfortable at all which is great.
I got the lightest shade I could get from the website I ordered from (beautyjoint.com) which was in Porcelain (I believe there is a lighter shade out) but it's still very dark on me, so I've tried it on it's own a few times blending it down my neck, but I generally mix it with a white foundation so it matches.
Wow I've finally found a great foundation! I suffer from rosacia and this thick formula has such a great coverage hiding all my redness and any blemishes I may have. It is so easy to apply and definitely lasts right through the day. I even did some exercising with it on one day and it lasted through that. Packaging is very simple but for a $8 foundation which works so well I don't care at all. I have used all sorts of foundations before such as Revlon colour stay and estee lauder double wear which are very highly rated products and I put this elf foundation right up there with them. That's how good I've found it. I am recommending this to everyone.
I love this product a little goes a long way. i first discover this product and loved the sound of it as i have prone acne skin and thought ill give it ago.the only down fall is these only afew colours to choose from which makes it hard to match
This is the BEST low end foundation I have tried so far. Its nice and thick and blends really well into my skin. I got the colour Buff and its a perfect match which I have never found with any other except Revlon Colourstay. It's definitely buildable and I never found it looking cakey. Only downside is it starts to wear away throughout the day, especially in the nose area, it almost all comes off. I found it also outlines your pores on the nose area if you dont use primer.. Overall its a flawless finish and you only need a small amount of powder as its not a tacky finish. It's more a matte finish to me.
Tips: I would recommend using a good primer, especially around the nose area to prolong wear.
I LOVE THIS PRODUCT SO MUCH! I use a mixture of buff and porcelain depending on what time of the year it is. It blends effortlessly, it has full, even coverage and can be layered on without looking cakey. I use a translucent powder and it stays on all day for me. Everyone should try!
This is my favourite cheap foundation. I decided to try a lot of e.l.f products after Shaaanxo mentioned them in some of her videos. This found was my best e.l.f purchase.
It gives amazing coverage and does not feel like you have foundation caked on your face. It blends really well and it easy to build.
I apply this with my e.l.f flat head brush and find that I get perfect even coverage. I only use a pea size amount of foundation and it goes a long way.
I get dark under eye circles and red blemishes over my face and this foundation is great for reducing and covering them.
The foundation comes in a clear bottle with an easy to screw lid. Even though the bottle is small a little product goes a long way so it lasts for ages. I use this nearly everyday and it has lasted me a few months.
This is a must have product. I have the colours porcelain (my most used colour) and buff (for when I have a good tan). My skin is a fix of oily and dry and this foundation works well on it.
I purchased this online from eyeslipsface.com when they had a recent 50% off sale, so picked this up for the ridiculously low price of $3 in the shade 'Beige'. I had previously seen Shaaanxo use it in a tutorial and it looked amazing, plus I was tempted by the thought of a more affordable alternative to my much loved Clinique Anti-Blemish Solutions foundation for my oily, acne-prone skin.
The packaging for e.l.f.'s Studio Acne Fighting Foundation is actually really similar to that of Clinique - a plastic bottle with large, screw on cap. I really like this style of packaging for liquid foundation for several reasons; it allows you to see how much product you have left, it's a good size and shape for storage and travel, the cap is secure enough that it won't come loose within a bag and the nozzle is perfect for dispensing as much or as little product as you like.
This foundation is specifically formulated to fight acne and because of the ingredients used it does have a slight smell similar to that of the e.l.f. zit zapper, which may be the camphor, but it isn't strong or unpleasant.
The formula itself is amaaazzzing, thick and creamy. I applied it after priming with e.l.f.'s tone-adjusting mineral primer using a flat-topped kabuki brush to buff it into my skin. I found this method gave the most even finish due to the formula being so thick. A small amount of product gave me full coverage which really did disguise redness, blemishes and uneven skintone. The finish itself was natural and after setting it with powder and setting spray it lasted all day.
I can't judge to whether it helped prevent or treat acne as I normally use acne-fighting products as part of my usual skincare routine, but it didn't break my skin out which is a definate bonus!
I am SUPER impressed with this foundation, so much so that it will most likely replace my beloved Clinique as my go-to on days where I want more full coverage foundation. This is such an amazing price, and I highly highly recommend it!
Tips: This sets quit quickly, so use a kabuki brush to really buff it in for the most even finish.
