Candle Crave Lemon Cheesecake Scented Candle Review

Why, yes it can!

I was very excited to get a trial invite for this candle. Over the last few months, I've been really into lighting candles and having the scent take over my room. I don't think I've ever heard of this brand before and I certainly never thought lemon cheesecake could ever be a replicated scent.

This comes in a large yellow box, with the candle secured inside. I like how they say on the box that you will probably want to eat it but they don't recommend you too! As soon as I got this, I knew I needed to give it a good sniff to see what it really smelled like. I was expecting maybe some kind of tangy lemon. The reality is so much better though. It really does smell like cheesecake. I can smell the sweetness from the base, and a tangy cream cheese scent and of course the lemon. If I could go the rest of my life with this candle permanently attached to my nose, I'd be a very happy girl.

I enjoy the packaging of this candle as well. It's a very heavy glass with a lid. I like that it only has a small pealable sticker of what the candle is so I could easily repurpose this candle for makeup brush storage once I'm finished. It looks lovely sitting on display as well. It is a bit cheaper then Ecoya candles but it looks just as good.

I've used about a third of this candle already in just the week from having it, so I think you can say I have really enjoyed it. It smells really good straight from lighting it but it definitely needs a good couple of hours burning to get a better scent going. It's not overpowering at all, it's actually more on the light side. I do wish it was a more intense smell as I really can't get enough of this. It made my lounge smell good, but didn't travel to the rest of my house.

I could definitely see myself wanting to buy this candle after I've finished this one. So far, I've never even finished a large candle before but this one will absolutely get used up. I'll be looking more into this brand too. I haven't checked their website before but I'd love to see what other amazing scents they have come up with. I received this wonderful candle as a gift from a very wonderful woman. It was on my BR list (and personal) wishlist for a long time, and so when I was surprised with this at Christmas time I was so very excited. I love candles!

The candle is in a frosted jar with very minimal writing, and a lid that pops on and off with suction magic. You can clearly see on the outside of the candle how much you have left, which is always quite handy. I removed the lid straight away and had a deep sniff, and it did smell a little bit lemony. I got a stronger smell of vanilla, though, or the cheesecakey part of the smell. I was expecting a tangy lemon, rather than creamy lemon... but I guess cheesecake is creamy so, it fits.

As I burned it the smell got more vanillary, and the throw of the candle was quite good too, even when it's not burning. I did think the wick was a bit long and made quite a high flame, but cutting the wick fixes this problem easily. I also haven't burned this for the 50 hours, nor have I been timing how long it's been lit for, but it's lasting quite a while as it lives in the bathroom now. I would probably repurchase from this brand, but maybe not this smell again.

As soon as I opened the exciting package from Beauty Review I could smell the most devine fragrance from the delicious Candelcrave Lemon Cheesecake candle! it was both mouth watering and refreshing and I knew I had to run a warm relaxing bath straight away so I could relax with this incredible scent in my bathroom! I would highly reccomend to anyone and everyone!! These would make beautiful gifts also!!

The lemon cheesecake candle by candle crave is amazing. The box it arrived in was very pretty and i expected the candle packaging to be the same but it was in frosted glass packaging with a yellow sticker stating the scent. I found the packaging of the actual candle quite elegant and it would work the the decor in any room in the house. My first thought about the candle was that it was very similar packaging to the reveal candles packaging but wasn't as tall. From my first smell of the candle the lemon scent was very strong and over powering but then it faded into a dreamy lemon cheesecake. I lite the candle in my bedroom and left the room for about 30 minutes and came back to a room smelling like someone had just baked a delicious cheesecake. It wasn't too over powering though. I then left it burning for another 40-50 minutes and my whole house smelt amazing. After blowing the candle out, I went to work and come home hours later to a house still smelling amazing. After almost 1 1/2 hours of burning the candle almost still looks brand new. Its rather slow burning and theres barely a dent in the wax. I would definitely buy another candle from the candle crave range, and would even buy them as gifts for family and friends as thats how much i enjoyed trying this candle.

I was soooo excited to try this because I have an addiction to candles! From the moment I pulled this out of the parcel I could smell the divine scent without opening the actual glass pillar packaging. It smells exactly like a freshly made lemon cheesecake with a delicious biscuit base (absolutely mouth watering, you almost want to eat it!) it is soo potent I love it! I recently moved into a new home and it didn't smell the greatest when we moved in so I lit this puppy up and it made the entire house smell absolutely divine. I would definitely repurchase and recommend to a friend! Such a good price tag also!

I am a big fan of cheesecake especially if it has lemon in it! Was super exciting about this product. I do not use scented candles very often but this one is pretty interesting since the scent is based on food - usually scented candles are floral smelling.

I quite like the packaging - the product comes in a very hard and sturdy glass case and a lid to close it too. Very cute boxing (although the yellow colour is a bit too bright)

I have used this for a few days in my bedroom and I find that I prefer not to lit the candle since the sweet and delicious lemony scent somehow gets subdued or disappears while it is being lit. A bit disappointed.. The candle says it should smell of Lemon Cheesecake but for some reason it reminds of a typical vanilla and lemon biscuit instead but still smells very tempting.

However, after the candle is blown out the lemony scent is once again in the air and lingers for quite a while (this depends on how long the candle has been burning for, of course) I prefer it this way.

About half an hour after lighting this candle my flatmate walked in, took a big sniff and said "Oh, you're cooking cheesecake." Which was kinda great because it allowed me to feel all domestic for a bout 10 minutes before coming clean. I think you could totally pull it off though if you had people round you wanted to impress, like, "Oh forgot you were coming, just whipped up a cheesecake for dinner." It would work too because the candle just smells that good. I also really like the packaging. Classy. Not like the cheap dollar ones you get from the warehouse.

Scented candles have been all the rage for the past couple of years and the 'Candle Crave Lemon Cheesecake Scented Candle' is a brilliant addition to the wide range already on the market. Upon first opening the box the aroma of Lemon Cheesecake immediately hit me, and my brother who was in the room also commented on the scent of Lemon Cheesecake in the air before he'd even seen the candle. Once lit it did take a while for the fragrance to start permeating the room, but after about 10 minutes or so you could definitely smell it. Although it is a sweet scent it is rather subtle so there's no need to worry about it being overwhelming and sickeningly sweet as sometimes scented candles can be. I did notice that after it had been burning for a while there was a rather large pool of wax sitting in the candle, so I'd advise being extra careful not to knock it over, however once blown out the wax did dry and settle back to normal fairly quickly. I recommend this product to any scented candle lovers who enjoy subtle but sweet scents.

When i received this candle it was in the cutest packaging ever! Just looking at the package I knew that it was going to be an amazing candle. It turned out to be, honest to god, the best candle I had ever burnt. Not too sweet, not too much citrus. At the time I had a massive headache, ten minutes after I started burning the candle my headache complete went away. The candle was just so relaxing. The candle holds a good amount for its price and I am definitely going to repurchase this in the near future.

The initial smell is absolutely divine, it reminds me of cheesecake and it was so tasty smelling. The candle is cased in a glass jar and has a resealable lid which makes it perfect for using again and again. The smell isn't too overpowering and it is perfect for using in any situation. It is so pretty, the only downside is the price but with the longevity of the product it is worth it
