Living Light Pure Soy Wax Candle

I was sent this product by BR as a part of the trial team. It is the Living Light Plum & Pomegranate Soy Candle. Before I received this product for review, I had never tried this brand before. First of all, I must highlight the components of this beauty. This candles are made of pure soy wax, with a 100% cotton wick and offers 30 hours of light and aroma as well as being organic and ethically sourced!

Packed in a nice cardboard box, the packaging is simple and stylish. It comes in a 150gr glass jar, labeled with the company name and a chrome reflected lid that contains an inside mirror.

When I opened the jar, the candle smelled wonderful. It has a crisp, feminine scent that will certainly help anyone to unwind after a long day. The quality of the aromas felt pure and sophisticated.

In comparison to regular paraffin candles I found that soy candles burn cleaner. As result, they don't produce as much black soot and the wax melts evenly.

One of the negative things I found about this product is that the scent was on the lighter side (more of like a background fragrance) I could not smell the scent beyond the open door into any other part of the house.

The Living light soy candle collection is available in several variants. Each of the candles has a unique combination of scents, which makes them irresistible! A few of the fragrance combinations include rose and fresh orange, sage & bergamot, jasmine and my well loved plum and pomegranate!

The reason why I would invest in this product its because its made of high quality ingredients and is hand crafted in NZ, making it just that little bit more special :)

PROS: Long lasting, Clean burn (carbon free), Natural wax and fragrances that are biodegradable, Subtle fragrance, Supporting the local community.

CONS: Price.

Overall, I recommend this product above other candles on the market.

First of all, i loved the smell of this candle! The box was pretty and the candle jar was the common clear glass design. The candle lasted for a very long time and the smell lingered in my room for a long time too. I would definitely purchase this item!

I admit it - I am a candle fiend. I currently have over 15 candles sitting around my house. So I was very excited to receive this as a trial team.

This was one of those candles that you could smell before even opening the beautiful little BR courier bag, but not in an over powering way.

It comes in a very nicely designed box. The jar itself is a nice round and solid glass container, with a minimalist type look which always looks classy on any surface.

The scent is to die for, such a beautiful winter smell. This is one of those candles that don't smell "fake", it genuinely smells like you have a plum pie baking in the oven.

My other half (being a typical male) never notices, and doesn't really enjoy when I burn candles (pretty much every night), and for the first time ever he walked in the door and said "Yum, the house smells amazing!".

Overall 5/5 stars - Will definitely be buying more candles from this brand!

The candle is visually appealing and very plain so will fit into any room easily. Definitely smells like Pomegranate with medium hints of Plum. This can easily burn 30 hours. I have already had 35 out of it with a bit of wax left. The smell stays strong for the whole burning time as well which is a plus. The packaging is also attractive and easy to open. I love the font they have used on both the candle and packaging. The Living Light website has currently got this candle for sale at $25 and I would pay that for sure and I would recommend to others. I feel calm and relaxed when around the candle and have used it in a romantic setting and just generally day to day to make my house smell nice which lasts about 2 hours after the candle is out :)

This was the first beauty review trial that I was selected for, so I was incredibly excited! I couldn't wait for it to arrive, and it came the day after it was dispatched! As soon as I opened the courier package, I could already smell it and it was delicious! It has a very strong, sweet scent, but at the same time, it's not too overpowering. The packaging is very cute, coming in a pink and purple patterned box. The jar itself is glass with a little metallic lid that pops off. I personally thought that the candle was going to be bigger, but that's not a problem! The candle burns nice and slow, which is good and the box claims for it to have a 30 hour burning time, which is fantastic. The flame itself is nice and steady and burns straight down the middle of the candle. It takes a little while for you to be able to smell the scent after you light the candle, but once you begin to smell it, it definitely sticks around and makes the room smell incredible! I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to relax with a sweet, fruity candle!

When BR posts a new product to trial I always love reading the perfectly written article about the product, by the end of the article I'm wanting my grubby little mitts all over said product! And this was one of those "I'll buy it now" moments which um happens quite regularly. But I love it!!

And by the way who doesn't want a lovely scented candle! There is nothing more comforting than seeing that naked flame flickering away filling the air with a sweet scent. There is also something about walking into your home to a nice, fresh smelling home it's warming and inviting.

So I'm off to the living light website trawling the pages of the different scents and different candles. But I already knew that I wanted plum and pomegranate, 2 of my favourite scents and put together I knew it would be heaven. I placed an order for a small candle and it was on special so paid $25 bonus! 2 days later it arrived in its beautiful little pink and purple box, I carefully open it to find the glass jar with a silver lid and the living light logo on the candle, simple but elegant.

So of course I waste no time in lighting it and Cor Blimey it didn't take long for the air to be filled with the decadent scent. Sweet and fruity, zingy and zesty the type of scent that gets your tastebuds going, but it also has a bit of a dark side that mellows it all down making it creamy. It really is Devine, I have been burning this daily for 4 hours a day and it's nearly gone so it does last at least 30 hours. It keeps the house scented for hours and I we have been getting lots of comments on how good the house smells. This is a real winner and I will purchase more of these, I can't wait to try the different scents.
