this was given to me as a gift and wouldnt be something i would have brought myself but i do love it! the bottle has gone down really fast! so must be using it lots. with this one i dont find the smell lasts as long and i dont get comments when i wear it. maybe need more than a few sprays to be powerful. i do like it when i can smell it and would buy it again. got it given to me in a gift pack

Diesel Loverdose allegedly possesses molecules that stimulate hypothalamus, the part of the brain responsible for attraction and lust. The very composition is floral – spicy, opening with star anise and mandarin. Sambac jasmine, licorice and gardenia petals form the core of the composition, placed on an oriental base of amber, vanilla and woody notes.
The bottle is symbolically designed to resemble a heart – shaped diamond pierced by an arrow, coloured in intense shades of purple. The face of the fragrance is a young model Ashley Smith.

I treated myself to this about a year ago, but only seem to wear it in the winter months, as much as I love the fragrance I do find it a little to strong and heavy for summer wearing. I love the shape of the bottle and its colour although I always keep perfumes in their boxes to preserve them. I did not realise the fragrance was supposed to stimulate the hypothalamus, I will have to pay more attention next time I wear it!!

Licorice and sugar
Ick! not for me - smells like the original lolita lempicka (herbal licorice notes) gone off on me with a whiff of a super sweet sugary berry note not unlike Jovan's black musk. Alot of people seem to love this but personally I will steer clear.

Hmm...
To be honest I was a bit let down by this fragrance. I got lost with what I think is the liquorice note. It had a overpowering longevity, the headache kind. I get what diesel was trying to muster but don't think they quite hit it!

Amazing
My go to perfume at the moment! This is my second bottle of it and i love it! Such a nice refreshing scent. Will continue to repurchase over, and over.
I find that it is quite sweet and a very girly yet mature scent. The bottle is so gorgeous! Mainly the reason why it caught my eye in the beginning.
It is quite expensive, but it is such a gorgeous scent so I don't mind paying for it and a little goes a long way

Adore!
I adore this perfume! It's not my absolute favourite but it IS amazing. I really cannot stand licorice (one of the core compositions of this fragrance) yet this just smells divine. It's warm, heavy & creamy & it lingers on the skin all day.
This is the perfect fragrance for a night out or on a first date as it has just the right amount of "sexiness" I can't get enough!
Tips: Not ideal for summer wear as the notes are very creamy & warm. Much better suited for cooler weather or evenings.

For someone who HATES liquorice, I adore this fragrance. I figured I would start with the 30ml size, but would definitely grab the larger size next time!
It is the right amount of spice and lasts amazingly on the skin. Though the liquorice is the main note, it is not too overpowering and still makes the fragrance enjoyable for me.
The bottle is edgy, kind of reminding me of a potion in a purple heart bottle. Beautiful.
Overall, very impressed, and amazed in how different it is to the original Diesel fragrances.

Delicous
I was given this by my boyfriend who normally just buys online, this time he actually went into a store and bought it... what a good boy! He did an amazing job.... I LOVE this scent! Its quite floral but with out being floral... I had someone comment it smelt like frankensent... he could have just been a creepy customer. When I wear this I get a whiff of it during the day, and it smells like I've not long put it on. Such a bargain, and soooooo delicious! Would recommend to all!

Such a unique scent i love it, it has hints of licorice and just a well rounded scent. when i sprayed it i couldnt smell it on myself but i would get whiffs of it throughout the day so i do love the smell and that comes down to what i like but it seems to be long lasting and if thats what your looking for then go for this
Tips: well if you get a gift set of a perfume a tip of mine is to semi rub the body lotion from the set onto your chest then spray the matching scent of the perfume onto the body lotion and the scent will last longer

I received this perfume as a gift and it knocked my socks off. The bottle is stunning and makes a perfect addition to your fragrance table. The scent is very alluring and sexy - floral with a woody undertone. My husband also approves. The scent lasts a good while, but not as long as other scents I have tried.
