Pink Friday by Nicki Minaj 50ml Gift Set

I got this set from the reward vault as i have had my eye on it for awhile. This scent is gorgeous, the bottle is a little scary but the fragrance makes up for it =P i reckon its quite similar to Viva La Juicy but a bit sweeter.. Im not usually a fan of super sweet scents but this one is pretty and feminine without being sickly! The only downfall is that it isnt that long lasting however with the lotion it is.. so therefore I love the fact it came with a decent sized lotion and shower gel too, the lotion is very useful for fragrance longevity!

Such a gorgeous gift set. I got sent this from the BR vault :) And I wanted to really put it to the test before I put up my review. The scent of the shower gel, unfortunately, doesn't last long at all. It fades fairly quickly. But the lotion and the perfume itself last a bit longer. I sprayed the perfume on my wrists and dabbed it onto other areas of my skin sometime in the morning, just after 9am, and I kept checking throughout the day to see how long the scent lasted. Come 4pm, I could still smell the perfume :) Obviously the scent wasn't as strong, but it was still there so I was quite impressed. And with the lotion, it doesn't last as long as the perfume, but it's perfect for after your night time shower. I love smelling good for my man! :)

I was taken in by firstly how pretty the bottle is, I love unusual pieces and secondly the smell really was nice which took me back a bit as it’s a “celebrity fragrance” So much detail has gone into making this gift set its such a nice box that I haven't thrown it out, looking to repurpose it for something.

1) The perfume, it’s a bust of Nicki complete with an almost perfectly matched etching of her face, donning a corset type bodice. The lid is her hair, which I found to have no problems considering the size and awkwardness of it; it’s a bit chunky to hold as you spray so I’ve always placed the lid on the bed where it can’t wobble off. The spritz top is gold and is very easy to use, letting the perfect amount out to cover lightly, without drowning you in perfume. The fragrance is great, and doesn’t ebb out to a muteness keeping its intense lingering for a solid 6-8 hours then leaves nothing, so top ups if you’re going work then out afterwards will be needed, but who doesn’t top up then. On me the notes which was the strongest are a slightly berry, jasmine vanilla smell, not too girly at all the jasmine flower is my favourite flower and its really easy to pick up on, the vanilla created a musk that kept the fragrance going on for the length it does.

2) The body lotion comes in a matching pink with gold tone writing on it bottle as is on the gift set box, the lotion has a faint scent of the same berry/jasmine with vanilla, but once on the body it doesn’t last I noticed it fades to just a vanilla musk within a few hours, its great at layering as it means the perfume on top keeps its intensity longer. Found that the lotion was great for all over use and absorbed pretty quickly without leaving any tackiness or greasiness, a nice light lotion that is great all year round.

3) The shower gel, as the body lotion, it comes in a matching pink with gold tone writing on it bottle as is on the gift set box, it’s a clear gel type with a faint hint of yellow to it. The fragrance of the berry/jasmine and vanilla is strong and filled the whole shower with its scent, as soon as the shower was off and I was dried though there was nothing, a very light vanilla scent but nothing that impressive, but again great for layering up with the lotion and perfume so that the perfume is the long lasting star of the show.

I adore this perfume now and Nicki is forefront of my display table, definitely will buy the perfume again as its not unreasonably priced for a great quality perfume with such a cool presence, although I wouldn’t go out of my way to track down the body lotion and shower gel once I have run out of them.

This perfume really is aimed at teenagers and lover of Nicki Minaj and i'm certainly neither, but I just love the scent. It's so fresh and girly and isn't overpowering, nor is it sickly sweet. The bottle is a bit overwhelming but believe me, it's worth it. I always wear this on a Friday, just because it's in the name. But you can quite often find me by scent de Nicki on other days too.

I love this scent, I was lucky enough to be able to get this fragrance through the beauty review vault. I love it. The packaging of this gift set is so cute and it is huge as well. I love the bottle having a ninki Minaj body has the bottle is so cool. I noticed that the fragrance it self didnt last long but if you used the lotion and the shower gel it did. Im all for long lasting fragrances as it makes you feel confident throughout the day. That is the only downfall of this fragrance the length of how long it lasts on you. This fragrance makes you feel sweet and feminine. It is sweet but I love sweet scents so it ticked that box for me.

Got this for christmas and I am in love. The fragrance is so pretty and sweet and wherever I go I am told I smell amazing which is always such a confidence booster. The body lotion made me feel nice and smooth although did irritate my legs when I had used it after shaving the same day! Other than that recommend as gift or even if you are just spoiling yourself!

This perfume is one of my favourite perfumes. I love buying new perfumes all the time and love adding it to my perfume collection. This perfume smells nice and fruity and I like it because it's not too strong but at the same time you smell nice.

I feel that it was quite reasonable too and I love the packaging of the bottle. It's different and unique.

If your after something fun and exciting then I definitely recommend you to try this!!! I use this perfume on a daily basis and I always get asked what perfume I have on!

I quite like the body lotion because it has a smooth finish and it doesn't have a strong smell. I found that the fragrance in the lotion is not long lasting though.

I actually really like this perfume! I approached the Nicki Minaj fragrances with caution, I must admit, I didnt quite know what to expect. But this perfume is quite beautiful! It's a very feminine scent without being old fashioned, very modern-woman and made me think of being on holiday. The fruity smell was prominent on my skin, slightly tropical smelling. And the bottle is awesome, if not slightly vain, Nicki!!

I bought this set for my daughter during Christmas since she loves Nicki Minaj. I got it from Life Pharmacy & it was a great price. As I was searching through what to get I chose this 1 as It wasn't 1 of those fragrances that was too overpowering when its on a teen & you have to put up with it a lot Lol. It seems to be doing the trick because she loves it & I'm happy.
