I adored this perfume from the very moment I sniffed a tester in store. Was a very lucky girl that day, my birthday last year when the husband took my beauty shopping and lead me to the perfume counters, he even pointed out the pretty bottle stating that it looked like my kind of perfume, which to be honest I have a lot of perfume bottles on my dresser so it is really easy for him to tell.
I sniffed the tester and normally I wear it around for a while but the scent just gave me an instant smile that I decided then and there to buy it, additionally lucky for me on that very day Farmers was having a sale on perfume and the Versace Eros Pour Femme had only just came out that week in a special edition set which included the full 100ml bottle in all it's wonder, it really is pretty and 2 mini bottles each having the similar design as the mumma bottle.
The notes are heavy musk with an uplifting citrus tone that keeps it from being too heavy, there is hints of white musk, and deep wood aroma but a light hint of what I think is grapefruit or similar lifts the whole thing, it settles down to a soft feminine scent that is really pleasant and lasts for a while on the skin.
I got a Versace sample box as a gift for my last birthday. ($25? I think from Farmers) I have been working my way through them and hadn't been impressed until this scent. From the first spray I liked this. It reminds me of Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy Gold. (The Versace smells more deeper, sensual)
Sillage isn't outstanding, but not bad. Lasts a few hours. Great scent for daytime or event wear. Sultry and sophisticated. I don't know what the target range is but I love this for my 29 y.o self. I like this enough that i'd add this to my collection, but not enough that I'd purchase at that price. Would definitely pick it up at sale price though.
Tips: You may prefer a purse spray to refresh through the day.
