Dior Hypnotic Poison Review

I have used hypnotic poison for the last 12 years and it is still a favourite! It's a vanilla smell but strong and seductive, it lasts for a long time on your skin and clothing. Quite an expensive fragrance so I usually use it when I go out in the evening as it's a richer scent which I prefer for night time. You know exactly the smell when someone is wearing it.

This is my signature scent and had been for almost 10 years. It's such a grown up and sexy smelling perfume. I love vanilla and I think that's what draws me to this perfume. It lasts for so long and a little really does go a long way. Plus if you layer it with the moisturiser it's even better for special occasions

I've owned Hypnotic Poison off and on for 5 years ! Totally love it, although i don't love the price, this was my everyday perfume for years, so it was a rather pricey everyday but worth it... I always get complements smelling amazing.

With strong vanilla notes it's easily wearable, and its a scent that will last for 8 hours its great !

A beautiful, rich fragrance. It's strongly vanilla based, and I'd argue (sorry!) that it overpowers the bitter almond and jasmine notes.

I can see the appeal of this fragrance to people who seek sophisticated, classic or rich fragrance but it is just a bit too heavy for my own taste.

The vanilla is too rich for myself. Like wearing an eighties recipe cream pie on my body. Sorry!

Although quite expensive this perfume is totally worth it!!. whilst smelling soooo good it actually lasts, not just the day but it can sometimes last through the wash aswell. I hate over bearing perfumes and this is perfectly balanced. no sickly smell.. definately feminine. I cant get enough of this perfume. ITS DELICIOUS!!!!

I adore this perfume, it has been my favourite for a few years now. I find I always have people asking me what perfume i am wearing because i smell so nice, it lasts all day/night and you only need a squirt or two of it. well worth the money and I will continue to repurchase

If you have not tried it before, then do! It is a must if you are a fan of gourmand fragrances. This is a perfectly harmonious creamy, spicy, almond and vanilla concoction.

The strength in the theme of this scent varies between different people. On one friend it smells darker and alluring (Dita von teese type) and on me is smells more cheekily spicy (maybe even slightly earthy).

The most affordable place to buy this (it is quite often on special) is on Strawberry.net, currently selling at $84.50 for a 30ml. It is pretty awesome that you can get one of the best perfumes on the market for an affordable price!

One of my all time favourites!! Luv this captivating fragrance long lasting vanilla and musk notes just stunning! Is a little more expensive but well worth it! Fragrance is a parfume so fragrance lingers long after you've sprayed this. Reminds me every time of my best friend as this was her wedding fragrance, just georgous!

i find myself in the fragrance section of a shop for over 45 mins just smelling and testing perfumes, I prefer a sweeter note than floral and Dior Hypnotic Poison is the one that marks all the boxes for me. It smells delicious and it actually lasts a whole day even out in the hot sun.

I was shown this by my friend. I am so happy in my life that I have found such a lovely, yummy scent which has a long lasting scent on whatever you put it on. However this does come with a price, it is very expensive but in my books well worth it. I think its the type of perfume you wear on special occasions if you want to be remembered. If you haven't tried it you really really must.
