Dior Pure Poison Review

I have this perfume on my dresser at the moment as my daily wear perfume. It's subtle, which I like, but I feel as though it isn't the best of the series. Over the year and a half I've had it it's as if the perfume has lost its scent. It smells more like alcohol than perfume at the moment and I'm not sure if it's because it's nearly empty or why this has happened? I really love the packaging, but I'd rather buy another one in the range.

I absolutely love the scent of this perfume, it's great for nightwear as it lasts all night and is a bit stronger than normal day time wear perfume. Love the packaging and the scent - floral but also with a hint of sophistication and fun is perfect for going out, especially if you are getting glammed up for the night!

I love this perfume. It's a pretty heavy scent so I only wear it at night mostly as I find it a little overpowering for day wear. Once it has been on the skin a while it is definitely better and settles to a less overpowering scent. I still use this only sparingly as it is quite strong but I do love the scent. Maybe if it was not in a spray bottle it would be easier to control the amount applied. I have the EDP and it is extremely long lasting which I do like too as it's a pain to have to reapply a scent. It is a scent I think is more suited to more mature woman as it is a strong yet sophisticated scent which is a deep floral with a hint of sweetness.

Gorgeous scent, I love all of the 'poison' range from CD but this would be my favourite. Lasts a long time and it has a nice floral fragrance and didnt find it overpowering. I found the scent improved after about an hour.

I have this scent in the EDP 50mI size and it doesn't get as much use as it should. I do really love the smell of this perfume but as soon as I spray it on I find it very overpowering. The strength of the scent does seem to decrease slightly to a more tolerable level as it warms into your skin, but, for this reason I only wear this perfume sparingly and if I am going out and not going to be in a small space.

The scent is a very deep strong floral scent definitely more suitable for more mature women and for nighttime wear. Due to the strength of the scent it does have a very long lasting time so you definitely get your moneys worth with this one but it is not my favourite from Dior's poison range. A very pricey scent that I probably wouldn't repurchase just due to the limited use I get from it.

The bottle design wasn't a factor for me in choosing this scent but it is lovely, simple and classy just like the scent.

I was given this is a gift. It's certainly not something I would buy myself as the fragrance is extremely strong and unfortunately is overpowering on me. If you like to be smelt before being seen, this might be the scent for you!

This is probably my fav from the poison range. The smell is so lovely and floral and fresh, the scent lasts so long on the skin. You don't need to spray a lot as this is one of those perfumes where a little will go a long way. Perfect for day or night wear. And i think this is so versatile that it will suit both young and old

Personally, I absolutely LOVE this fragrance. It is definitely one of my favourites and I'm still a huge fan 7 years after first discovering it. I have received nothing but compliments when wearing it and I literally cannot fault it. Quality product and worth every penny!

I looooove this fragrance. It is my favourite evening fragrance of all. Combined with the body wash and the body lotion, layering gives you long lasting wear from your fragrance and you smell divine the whole day/night you wear it. I can't say enough about this fragrance.

I am a huge huge fan of the original poison. I would rate this scent much higher if only I hadn't smelt it first.

I sometimes find this smell a little sickly when I sniff the bottle. However, the afternotes are gorgeous and it's a smell that works with me all day and gets better as the day progresses.

The bottle is a pearl coloured version of the original poison bottle, nothing fancy or flashy, but not uneasy on the eye. Being short and squat it also has the advantage of not toppling over easily like a lot of my tall slender bottles do.

The price, like any high end perfume, is definitely on the high side. You do get what you pay for in the world of perfume though in my humble opinion.
