Black Star is the first fragrance by popular Canadian rock star Avril Lavigne. It was created under license of Procter & Gamble Prestige, and is composed of pink hibiscus, black plum and dark chocolate. This fragrance is available as 15, 30, 50 and 100ml edp.
Black Star was launched in 2009.
I recieved this as a gift and was so impressed. The packaging was very appealing and really showcased Avrils punk style.
I love the smell it was very fruity,florally and woody. It wasnt overpowering at all and very edgy.
The smell lasted ages and a little goes along way.
one of my first perfumes. I ended up buying a cheap knock off as I was young and didn't even know that could happen lol I ended up buying the real Avril Lavigne black star after and loved it
This was the first ever perfume I bought myself. I decided to grab this one last year due to it being on special at farmers and always wanting it due to living Avril Lavigne's style. The packaging is absolutely gorgeous and isn't exactly made out of plastic which is great. Also, the packaging reminds me of Avril Lavigne so much definitely a punk rock style. The scent is very fruity and floral. I think this is very girly and definitely an everyday perfume. I don't think the scent is overpowering but it does stay on your skin for a decent amount of time. I am definitely unhappy that I only bought a 30ml because now my local Farmers store no.longer stocks it. I would definitely repurchase this if I can find it.
